Pitiful Tina Fey is at it again. Matt Drudge recently slammed Fey for her oh-so-tired Palin schtick: “Palin has a life,” he said. Evidently, Fey does not, as she made clear during an appearance on “Inside the Actor’s Studio.”

Gold? Oh, honey.

https://twitter.com/AlexBooker89/status/314484457698648064

Yuk, yuk, yuk! Fey must be a student at the Borowitz school of comedy. People are laughing: At Fey. Well, and at Politico:

      very stupid

      • kyleco

lol Well, not that it’s a surprise, but @bucky321:disqus doesn’t even get the joke. Imagine that.

  • http://twitter.com/blindside01 Mike Taylor

Tina Fey has no talent and she should give most of her checks to Sarah Palin who make her somebody.

    • kyleco

I guess producing and starring in a massively successful, award-winning television show on a major network is easy to accomplish for a talentless nobody, huh?

      • bucky321

no , the show has been canceled

        • kyleco

Actually it wasn’t cancelled; the last time it was signed on it was for a series finale. (Finale means its the end.)

          • Brian W

Yeah, it actually was cancelled. NBC chose not to renew. (Cancelled means not renewed)

          • kyleco

Again, you’re WRONG. They renewed a SERIES FINALE SEASON.

      • WCinWI2

You forgot….. on NBC. And yes, the fact that she still needs the Palin schtick says it all.

      • kate_middleton

Okay, I like Tina and 30 Rock. The show won lots of Emmys, for Tina and Alec….but it was not massively successful at all. Even by NBC’s pathetic ratings standards.

      • HerneTheHunter

Really? Successful TV show? You mean the cancelled TV show that nobody watched?

        • kyleco

Sarah Palin’s Alaska: 8 episodes. (cancelled)
          Tina Fey/30 Rock: 7 seasons, 138 episodes

      • Brian W

It is a lot easier than getting elected governor of a state. And if Alec Baldwin weren’t on the show, it wouldn’t have been nearly as successful.

        • kyleco

If anyone had heard of Sarah Palin prior to getting the tap during the John McCain campaign, she would be even more irrelevant than she is today because they wouldn’t have picked her. She got the tap because nobody knew who the hell she was. The only reason she has any “success” (book deals, brief stint on FoxNews) was because of McCain… I guess I fail to see how what you’re saying make Fey unsuccessful at her craft (she hired Alec, she produces the damn show).

  • Blake Waymire

Can’t much blame Fey, actually. That impression is very likely the ONLY reason she’s gotten a couple of movie deals recently. Berating Palin is guaranteed to get her more money from the Progressives who also give the former-governor rent-free space in their heads.

    • CitizenEgg

Very true. The left feared Palin’s appeal so much that they rewarded EVERYONE who participated in the takedown. Fey got an emmy award for mocking Palin. Couric got at least 3 awards for her interview (although the editor deserved most of the credit) and of course Julianne Moore won a Golden Globe for appearing in the Game Changer. Sarah is so irrelevant to the left that they can’t stop thinking about her.

Libs have convinced each other that Sarah Palin is dumb.

Libs also think that dreck like SNL, The Daily Show, Colbert and Maher are the news.

Obama and his Axelrod of Terror recognized just how powerful this wonderful woman is and decided to spend years trying to destroy her.

    • kyleco

No, I mean, Sarah Palin convinced people that she is dumb. That wasn’t the work of a political group.

I’d also love to meet someone who thinks SNL is news…what are you talking about?

      • bucky321

no that was fey and also meet yourself

Go to Mediaiate. The typical person that is a liberal will think that The Daily Show and Maher are news. This is obvious.

        • Mike Faber

Media Matters had an interesting study that people who watch the Daily Show were more well informed about basic facts in the news cycle as opposed to people who just watch Fox News.

Sure, she got paid a lot to do the impression on “Inside the Actor’s Studio” … people make tons of money on that show. You folks are so funny. She, in fact, does a near perfect living caricature of Palin so it’s natural that in an intimate interview about her career that it would come up.

      • bucky321

“near perfect living caricature of Palin”
Totally, dude! The only small flaw is that Tina’s ass looks the same as her face. Butt to be fair, Sarah Palin’s beauty make’s Julienne Fries Moore look like the older, ugly sister, as well. Palin is a master at verbal jousting, Tina– just a hack-one-trick-pony.

      • 3seven77

Really? They make tons of money off that show? I’ve never seen it, and I’ve never met anyone else who has. How do you make money off a show no one watches? Must be part of that dem spending plan….

        • ceemack

I have no idea, but it seems to work for Piers Morgan and Rachel Maddow. You could ask them.

        • kyleco

(It was sarcasm, they make zero money being on that show. Also, it’s aired on one of those liberal artsy channels, so you’ve certainly never seen it. It’s apparently broadcast in 125 countries and has been going since 1994. It is literally just a televised interview of an actor sharing their story with acting students in New York.)

      • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

It’s not the impression, it’s the false things that come out of her mouth that little liberal lemmings like you believe that the real Palin actually said. You are such a brain dead bunch that you will literally buy anything a liberal comedian tells you.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6YMEYFCV2MVO2RIRDZ54WUSG6A Marianne

Tina has a new movie coming out this week, so obviously she needs to drum up a little publicity for herself. Making disparaging remarks about The Alaskan Goddess is a sure-fire way to do that.

  • https://twitter.com/Webnetcity webnetcity

Tina Fey is only following the blueprint of almost every democrat
and left leaning politician, when they are running for public office…

If you really want people to notice you, lie and pretend to be a conservative.

  • Steve_J

Tina Fey is on the train to “irrelevant town.”

  • nc

Further proof of Palin’s power and influence. Libbies are so scared of her they have to pull out a five year old routine to try to pull her down. Pathetic.

    • kyleco

lol She was being interviewed and the interviewer asked to, “…speak with Sarah Palin…” Perhaps you should learn what the context of this is before you use this as fodder for your ridiculous statements. If the impression wasn’t so good, I don’t think you’d even care.

      • daeghrefn

Actually, I thought it was pretty funny…in 2008. It’s pathetic shtick now.

        • VerminMcCann

I always thought it was the worst kind of clapper humor. (Except Tracy Morgan; I laugh at everything that guy does.)

        • kyleco

If she was going all over the place promoting her new work using it I’d have to agree with you. But the fact of the matter is it’s not a shtick at this point: she was being interviewed about her career. This was part of her career and got a lot of attention. Come on.

Tina Fey is an absolute, washed up has been without Sarah Palin. Fey needs to stop embarrassing herself.

    • kyleco

Aw it’s cute that you think that. If anything it’s the other way around. How successful has Palin been at, well, anything? Just off the top of my head I can say that Fey has been massively successful in her career, producing and starring in a primetime TV show on a major network for the last 6 years…(and I’m not talking SNL).

      • arrow2010

Sarah Palin has made $15 million at least. How much money have you made?

        • kyleco

Well let’s how about this: 2 term City Councilwoman, 2 term City Mayor, Chair of Alaska State Board of Mayors, Chairwoman of Alaska State Ethic Boards, Oil & Gas State Regulator, Governor of Alaska, Vice-Presidential candidate, 2 time New York Times best-selling author.

Oh and a very successful small business owner: Running together with husband Todd, their commercial fishing business in Bristol Bay, since they bought it from her in-laws (Todd’s parents) in 1996.

Is that successful enough for you and Tina Fey?

        • kyleco

Boy when you put it that way she certainly sounds like a great VP candidate. City Council! That’s legit.

Hey, you forgot KTUU Sports Reporter.

Also, it’s Todd’s fishing business, not hers. Remember she was too busy with all that City Council stuff! AND, not to mention, reading every single newspaper and magazine to keep herself objectively apprised of the goings on in the world!

  • friskyness

Tina Fey is a liar……….she said she wouldn’t do Palin impression anymore……………guess she needs the money………..

    • kyleco

I don’t get how this became about money… It’s a TV show that reviews their career; she was asked to do it. Perhaps you should learn what the show is before you lose your lid.

      • bucky321

she said she would not do it again. can you think..or are you just an obama robot

        • kyleco

Are we talking about Tina Fey or Obama? You brought him up, friend, not me. Maybe it’s not me who is the thoughtless robot after all…

Just curious, in what context did she say she’d never do it again? Was it when she said she was done doing it on SNL? Also, do you have any idea what “Inside the Actor’s Studio” is? At all?

        • Patsplacepp

@bucky321:disqus @HerneTheHunter:disqus @friskyness:disqus @twitter-15708380:disqus I guess the fact that Palin only stayed in office for half her term also means she’s a liar, to the people of her state. You’ve got to realize that if you are Sara Palin she probably doesn’t give a crap about what Tina Fey said. If you actually watched the episode everyone on Twichy is grinding about ~ http://popwatch.ew.com/2013/03/21/tina-fey-sarah-palin-inside-the-actors-studio/ watch the last question Lipton asks Tina as Palin. “What do you think of Tina Fey’s portail of you?” Tina as Palin answers, “It’s the best one I never watched” And between these two liars, that most likely is the Truth. Just my two cents

      • HerneTheHunter

Well it’s pretty simple. She said she wouldn’t do it anymore. But here she is doing it again. I guess someone needs the little recognition that she’s known for.

        • kyleco

Right. When you’re being interviewed about your career and the interviewer (seeing as it’s done in front of a huge group of acting students) asks to “talk to Sarah Palin;” you do it. You don’t say “Oh I once said I wasn’t doing that impression on SNL anymore and I’m a woman of my word and I can’t imagine what people would think of me if I were to do that for you and your audience here…” Come on you can’t be serious.

    • Paul Citro

She made the decision let her take the responsibility.

      • kyleco

lol Please explain this to me. I mean you actually have to be kidding, right? She’s talking to students at an acting college and is being asked to do an impression that got a HUGE amount of attention during Palin campaigning. Are you really saying her response should be (for the reason you’re about to explain) “No. I don’t do that.” Really?

  • digitalPimple

Irony is, Palin is actually very bright and enjoyed incredibly high approval ratings in all the offices she held; 80-90% approval rating among the public. She took on big oil, her own party at times and has more experience in government than the current president.

    • Patsplacepp

@digitalPimple:disqus I’m sure I’ll be pummelled by asking this but why is this Ironic in any way? She was in office for 966 days with her approval rating going from a high of 93% to a low of 56%. She awarded a sole bidders to place a $26 billion pipeline from Canada to the US but never talked with the Cdn First Nations about it and now its still facing legal challenges. And what exactly did her experience get her or the GOP for ’08? As for Tina Fey, I don’t even like Sarah Palin but I have to think she’s not loosing sleep over this. I respect the fact the Palin believes in what she believes. No one is going to change her. So why is everyone going batty on this? If you’re on the left, you don’t listen to Palin, If you’re on the right you don’t care for Tina Fey. This is kind of a draw and isn’t probably news for the two people that are at the centre of this. Just my two cents.

      • digitalPimple

All offices held. Her experience was not just limited to GOV of Alaska. The left and democratic machine was/is so scarred of a GOP women president they attacked her endlessly with bogus lawsuits to intimidate and stop her with the intent to destroy her politically. As far as the McCain ticket goes, an argument can be made that the only reason McCain even did as well as he did was due to Palin.

As I said before, she is far smarter than you and others give her credit for. The far left understands this, this is why they attack her endlessly.

Palin is the real deal, like her or not.

        • Patsplacepp

digitalPimple for sure I should have been specific that it was her governorship I was referring to.

But even if you’re to believe she smarter than many others think, what will that possibly bring to the GOP in 2014 or 2016? Regardless of my feelings for her as a politician, I’ve got a few friends in know that hope to hell she’ll enter the race in 2016. They are more concerned with a moderate like Christie pulling the middle than Palin that grabs strong with some on the Right but outside of that, even if you’re a woman doesn’t appeal. (just to be clear this is just my opinion. not slamming her or degrading her)

          • digitalPimple

I’m not that sensitive Pat.. you can stop be afraid to offend me over Palin. LOL

Christie is not a moderate. He was a moderate a few years ago. He’s a democrat now and brings nothing to the table any longer. He’s over. He will try desperately to overplay his REP creds once his local election is over but he blew it when it mattered most.

Instead of me arguing a negative why not tell me why PALIN is a bad choice?

          • Patsplacepp

@digitalPimple:disqus I think Palin carries over well, heck very well with Tea Party conservatives. But the Tea Party doesn’t represent all of the GOP. And without the majority of the GOP jumping behind her, even a poor democrat in 2016 would have stronger showing galvanizing the left against a Palin. I don’t think McCain lost because of Palin in 2008, but I feel that she brought out more people saying, “anyone but her, I’ll vote Barack”, than people saying, “she’d make a great VP” Obama didn’t win independents out right, but he did get the women vote almost hands down. Palin can convince and connect with main street USA, but Main Street USA isn’t a voting block. The other big problem is who wants to be her VP? I guess comparing her with Clinton (who in my opinion is probably the best chance on the left) you would have men and women lining up to stand behind her. I can’t see a Rubio or Paul or Ryan doing the same (off the top of my head I can’t think of a strong Republican female) So I guess my overall argument to Palin being a bad choice would be reach outside of her core. Reach outside of the Republican voting block and probably a low perception within her own party to have someone stand behind her. (again only my opinion though I know I’m not offending you personally)

Think we’re missing the point here people. Inside the Actors Studio is a show that discusses the length of someone’s career. Of course James Lipton is going to bring up Palin. I mean, Fey nails her.
