Awful.

As Twitchy reported earlier today, it is the 10th anniversary of the start of the war in Iraq. The foul already sent hate and violent death wishes to Secretary Rumsfeld, when he tweeted to honor the day. Now, the always cretinous slime at Gawker have published President George W. Bush’s email address.

Stay classy, Gawker. And by classy, we mean repugnant.

Of course, the author of the article exposing President Bush’s email address is none other  than John Cook. He was recently promoted to editor and once published a two-year-old list of “gun-owning a**holes.”

Update: A spokesman has no comment about Gawker’s awfulness.

BuzzFeed, by the way, is tweeting screenshots of the email address.

Are you kidding me Twitchy? I’d give up a thumb to get Obama’s address in order to let him know how I feel. I have a feeling my reply’s on twitter aren’t really reaching his desk.

The official word on the @BarackObama twitter account is that it is now run by Organizing for Action.

But he still (allegedly) twits his own and signs them “-bo.”

(Who in the hell names their dog after themselves?)

      • JR48

        A narcissist.

Next time, ask a more difficult question.

        • TexSizzle

I considered it a rhetorical question.

          • JR48

            I know :)

        • ryan charisma

you do know his daughters named the dog?

          • JR48

            Sure they did. LOL

      • JoeMyGodNYC

The dog was named by the president’s daughters after blues artist Bo Diddley, who died in 2008 a few months after visiting the White House and meeting the girls for the first time. They adopted the dog a couple months after Diddley passed away.

        • JR48

Nice story. I’m sure that was exactly what was on their minds.

      • $45065723

I’m pretty sure Bo Jackson was named after Obama.

    • ryan charisma

maybe they are and he just doesn’t listen to people he considers uneducated and misinformed?

  • pairadimes

Disgraceful, and possibly pathological behavior. There is a diagnosis code for this kind of emotional dysfunction.

  • Maxx

Look on the bright side. Now we can personally thank him for keeping us safe for eight years.

History will be much kinder to Bush than the current bozo.

    • Sons Thunder

Hmmm…it seems like there were some minor failures in keeping us safe during those years,

One in particular…what was that? Seems like it was often dubbed ‘a day of infamy.’ Maxx, isn’t it weird we can’t seem to remember that even though I am certain ‘never forget’ was another phrase one heard surrounding that failure.

      • Maxx

The comment addressed the tough steps he took…and often the unpopular ones, to ensure that never happened again.

I assumed, incorrectly I suppose, people would comprehend this.

        Most did.

Bullshit. Bush is a war criminal and a terrorist. he needs to hang in the Hague.

          • journogal

What about Congress, even the Democrats, that voted for the war (before they were against it.) I assume Hilary Clinton should be their, too, since she supported it. What about Bill Clinton, he is on record about WMDs.

          • Maxx

and yet Bozo funded the war at every turn as a junior Senator. In addition, how’s that closing Gitmo thing working out for the left? Drone wars sound good…hovering over US skies?

          • ozconservative

And what was it ol’ Bubba said???? Something about “regime change” in Iraq being official US government policy???

          • http://twitter.com/LNSmithee L.N. Smithee

Somebody light a match in here, please.

        • Sons Thunder

Are you grateful Obama has kept you safe since he’s been in office?

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000546864664 Evance Cannon

Yeah….9/11 was FUN!!!! Iraq was even MORE FUN!

      • journogal

It’s Bush’s fault for 9/11, yet Obama doesn’t get any blame for anything that happens during his terms?

        • ryan charisma

you mean like ending both wars Bush started? yes, he’ll get credit for that. or finding out that Bush never put either war on the books and OUR President Obama did? Yes, he’ll get credit for that. Like trying to do something about healthcare? Yes, he’ll get credit for that.

          • http://www.facebook.com/people/Stephanie-Warren/100001648091118 Stephanie Warren

excuse me, what wars did he end again?

          • http://www.facebook.com/people/Stephanie-Warren/100001648091118 Stephanie Warren

excuse me, what wars did he end again?

    • http://www.facebook.com/rcadalso1 Roberto Cadalso

      Remember 9-11!

  • Pat Loudoun

Come on folks. Settle down. If what is on Gawker is even real, it deserves to be exposed. The Secret Service would never let such an obvious email account exist.

That email address, if even real, is the equivalent of Obama’s Twitter handle.

  • TJ

If the e-mail is real someone at the bush library will be inconvenience for a time to fix a spam filter to scan for and forward to the Secret Service any death threats.

  • kate_middleton

Speaking of GWB, that hacker Guccifer hacked Bush family emails and the contents were all over the Internet. Now he hacks some Hillary Benghazi emails, but I haven’t seen the memos anywhere. Smoking Gun posts about it but no docs.

    Anyone seen them yet?

    • LuCha

Are you kidding? Hearing about Bengazi emails??! We’re more likely to find out Michelle is a man…

      • kate_middleton

That’s what is strange. I think Smoking Gun would post them if they had them, and Fox certainly would. I’ve seen lots of reports on Guccifer hacking these memos (which were not internal WH or State memos) but no copies of the documents. Peculiar.

  • George Washington Mclintock

Turn Lemons to Lemonade Let’em know he’s missed and that was a great American. And Thank him for his courage.

    • ryan charisma

it was very brave of him to turn tax payer dollars over to Halliburton.

      • pajamakat

You are so childish and as annoying as a gnat flying around on a summer evening.

  • LuCha

I would love to email W and thank him for being a leader and not a campaigner.

    • ryan charisma

he was neither. he was Cheney’s puppet.

      • http://twitter.com/LNSmithee L.N. Smithee

Yeah, you may wanna try to sell that to Cheney when it comes to Scooter Libby, whom Cheney wanted pardoned. W said no. Cheney didn’t quit asking. Bush said “stop asking.” Bush commuted Libby’s sentence, but didn’t clear his record. It remains a sticking point in their relationship to this day.

  • JR48

George Bush is still protected by the Secret Service who I daresay would take a dim view of this.

  • http://www.facebook.com/luke.givens.963 Luke Givens

Ah yes, this is absolutely horrible, because an ex-politician’s e-mail address being published always totally results in thousands of Americans and Iraqis being killed in a multi-trillion dollar war. Oh wait, I think I am getting the cause and effect mixed up here.

    • journogal

How do you feel about the conflicts Obama has gotten us involved in?

  • ryan charisma

I just want to thank him personally for emptying tax payer dollars into Halliburton’s coffers in the name of finding WMD’s. Who was the CEO of Halliburton again? Oh yes, Dick(y) Cheney, that’s right. Mr. Bush deserves to be thanked. Oh and that history will be kinder to him. NO.

  • http://www.101thingsin1001days.com/ Thomas C.

This is awful. I’d be FURIOUS if someone posted my personal e-mail address on the interwebs. On the other hand, I didn’t enact laws and policies that destroyed the economy of the United States of America. So, maybe that’s not a fair comparison…
