Ah, the age of Twitter! Actor Hugh Grant took to Twitter yesterday to announce the birth of his son, after being inundated with questions from the press. Who’s the daddy? Hugh is.

Congratulations did pour in.

Mr. Grant was thankful for the best wishes, and hopes that the press will now stop hounding him.

Congratulations! Wishing your family all the best as you welcome your new bundle of joy.

Children are a blessing, but grandkids really rock 😉

Start with the grandkids first. :grin

Hoo boy…that’s not always the way I hear it from the kin folk.

However it is a blessing being the crazy-fun Uncle.

I get to buy the best, most dangerous toys for b-days & Christmas (the ones like when I was a kid that didn’t bother with “X Age & up”, “Don’t Eat”, & “Flammable” warnings), and get to teach them things like, “If you sneak a little chlorine powder from the pool house, put it in an empty 2 liter Coke bottle, pee in it, put the cap on real tight, throw it (and run), it’ll blow up good. But don’t do it here, you’ll scare the horses.

How wonderful….that men still exist in this world who are overjoyed to hear the words

    “you ARE the father.”

    Congrats Hugh!

Unlike most actors, this one actually sounds familiar…
*And, upon research, I remember seeing him in Sense and Sensibility! Congrats to Mr. Grant.

As far as I know, they are not married. Which would explain why he has to assert that he is the father. I was surprised, as I expected the child had been born to a hooker.

The activity he was involved in with a hooker can’t lead to pregnancy.
