Amen, Mr. Cain. That Twitter user was taking a page from Ron Paul’s deplorable book, evidently. His contemptible tweet was in response to actor Dean Cain’s tweet rightly calling Chris Kyle a hero.

The actor has shown himself to be a fierce fighter for freedom. He has also taken to Twitter several times to mourn the loss of his friend, Chris Kyle, and to honor his sacrifices.

Twitter users agree, and join Mr. Cain in defending and honoring the American hero.

To the non-cretinous, Kyle’s moving memorial service, and the funeral procession consisting of amazing and unwavering support, were beautiful and inspiring. They also served as a reminder that freedom isn’t really free.

Chris Kyle fought valiantly to protect our freedom. Even the ignorant kind.

I suddenly like Dean Cain again. Imagine that. I stopped watching tv shows and movies except for Bruce Willis movies because of all the hypocrites.

it helps that he is a hottie too!! Good looking conservative men make my knees go weak. I miss John Wayne types.

      • Nancy O’Connor Garcia

I miss John Wayne. There was a real man. Even tho his was a dem. I loved what he stood for.

        • http://www.facebook.com/jeffrey.everhart Jeffrey Everhart

The Democratic Party of today is not the Democratic Party of John Wayne. Please don’t insult the legacy of John Wayne with generalizations about members who are part of the democratic process.

          • Gary Honeycutt

I have read about John Wayne. When war broke out all the Hollywood leading man types rushed out to sign up. Many of them were already veterans. Despite being strongly warned that it could end his career, JW fought for an exemption from the draft, appealing until he won.
He spent the rest of his career wrapped in the flag, playing war heroes and advertising his love for America.
I’ll save my hero worship for men like Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart, Don Knotts and Ted Williams. They served proudly.
Few and far between are the Hollywood stars and professional athletes of today who would repay what this country has done for them. All too common are the ones who jump on the leftist “America’s evil” bandwagon. They are too cowardly to stand for our country so they stand for nothing and undermine America with their media influence. I’ll look for heroes elsewhere, maybe down the street, greeting people at Walmart, wearing a badge or delivering mail.

          • John Edward Kapler

John Wayne was exacty real young and you are somewhat correct. He also had children and could get an exemption from what I reead. I know he regretted it for the rest of his life. But I wont condemn him for it he made a patriotic mistake. He spent the rest of his life making up for it.

          • Gary Honeycutt

Not many who enlist aren’t “real young”. Back in those days a greater number of those whose age didn’t disqualify them did enlist. Many had children and still went, choosing not to seek an exemption. They felt a sense of duty for their families and their country. Many serving in the middle east today have families and have reenlisted despite knowing anyone there is risking their life every minute.
I never heard JW express regret for not serving, but I certainly did see him portraying heroes in movies and advertising his love for America, despite the fact that he would go to great lengths to avoid defending it.
He was successful, everyone I’ve ever told this couldn’t believe it.
To me he is not much different from the phony SEALs who never served.

          • Johnny Thompson

Maybe learning a few “real” facts would help you more. In other words, stop acting like a lying liberal. If you are acting.
            He was 34 when
the war broke out. That made him to old to be drafted (He was born in
            1907).
He also had a bad ankle that would keep him from combat
anyway. He decided to work in pictures promoting the war effort: getting
war bonds sold and so on.

          • Gary Honeycutt

Do some more reading, Thompson, there is a lot of pro-JW propoganda out there but plenty of dissent.
The draft was started in 1917 for men up to 31. JW certainly made no attempt to serve and the draft age was extended to 45 during the war he was avoiding.
Could be at the time he still had some socialist leanings (his party of choice into his 20’s), or just that when faced with a choice between his country and his career there was little doubt which was more important to him.
Henry Fonda was slightly older and had 3 kids in a solid marriage, unlike JW’S at that time.
There is room to speculate that JW reached such a pinnacle because he made movies while so many other bankable leading men were away in military service.
Not much printed about his ankle injury, but you weren’t required to run a 5.2 40 yd. dash to be eligible. It was not of any magnitude that was beyond draft or enlistment classification at the time.
I am no liberal (and never had to convert from socialism), I am slightly to the right of Rush Limbaugh (slight humor).
You certainly seem to have an attitude about your right to your opinions that you don’t extend to others and you clearly don’t know me.

John Wayne was actually a conservative Republican for most of his life.

        • John Edward Kapler

John Wayne was a registered Republican!

    • mike21222

Me too, I won’t go anywhere near a movie with Comrade Clooney or Sean Penn in it, when are we conservatives going to organize a boycott or ban of all these liberal / progressive actors, actresses and musicians and hit them where it really hurts, their wallets???

      • JustSayNOtoO

I have a long list of “entertainers” that I will NOT spend money to see. I refuse to support their support of the liberal agenda

        • Orpheus75

a load of Musical artists have joined my “no” list as well.

          • Lady 12

I notice your username is Orpheus, the musician whose music was so beautiful it brought joy even to Hades. I assume this means you are very attached to music.

          • Orpheus75

Absolutely Marta!!! That is, as you point out, why I chose that name. I have my own little private studio where I write and record as well.

          • Lady 12

What kind of music? Do you have any CDs, or any place to buy your music? Nothing is as uplifting as music, and it’s so refreshing to find a musician I can wholeheartedly support.

          • Orpheus75

I’ll try to contact you via Facebook Marta, if that’s okay?

          • Lady 12

            Sure, it’s fine.

      • Todd Hutchins

The only problem is that the actors get paid before the movie releases (or is made). The only entity that is at risk is the studio, not that that bothers me either. But the actors and crew GENERALLY get paid before-hand.

        • Hal Fast

Well when their movies keep tanking, they won’t get paid beforehand, because the studios won’t hire them to get paid beforehand to do movies anymore.

      • Amy Schmanke McDonald

We conservatives don’t need to make a production out of a boycott…we just quietly do it, because WE feel it’s the right thing to do….no fanfair, no media…that’s what makes us civilized. :)

        • Vennoye

You are so right!! Quit supporting MSM and movies in 2008. Have not missed them at all…rent the few that are worth watching. No production, everyone individually needs to do it!!

      • GaylePutt

Maybe Dean, Clint, Bruce and other closet conservatives will come out and retake Hollyweird,.

      • John Edward Kapler

I share your feelings too. Why support these self absorbed hypocrites! They make me sick and notice not one of them ever served their country! Isn’t that just a bit ironic!

  • Maxx

If it requires 10 Chers to have one Dean Cain, it would still be worth the painful cost.

  • Lamontyoubigdummy

Cain mourns his friend. But more importantly, in that friendship with a kind and humble man, he understood the difference between wearing a hero’s cape on TV vs. the mortal man who quietly struggled to wear one for all of us in real life.

    • mike_in_kosovo

      Well said…. *WELL* said!

      • $36544368

I like the quiet heroes…the ones who don’t have to shout that they’re ‘great’, but let their life show how great they are…I notice ‘quiet’ more than I notice ‘noise’…and Chris Kyle was a hero and a gentleman….which is why Obama will NEVER be a hero.

Thank you Mr Cain – for providing us with just alittle common sense and decency out of Hollywood

  • http://www.facebook.com/voltcatfish Thomas D. Williams

You tell ’em Dean! It is nice to see someone in Hollywood showing respect instead of stupidity.

It is too bad opinionated idiots like this guy so easily forget that their freedom was won by the fighting and sacrifices of others who died so this guy wouldn’t have to live in a country that stifles his freedom to whine.

If he has such a problem with the U.S. he should leave and go to a place like China…and then he will learn a little lesson about the price and value of freedom…

  • Rightlyinfavor of GOD

It is about time people stand up for our Men and Women in the military. They stand up for us each and everyday. WAY TO GO DEAN< a good looking man with a head on his shoulders, may god bless you in every way possible. Now the rest of this cuntry needs to see that if it wasn't or our Men and Women especially Chris Kyle, we would not have the right to an opinion and to elect an POS ILLEGAL PRESIDENT.

  • Gary

Just looking at @skrillakev’s other tweets, he’s a typical uninformed Obama voter/supporter.

    • JustSayNOtoO

Thanks for sharing that….I don’t do the “Tweet” thing

    • shimauma

saw that myself, he tweeted condemnation on the cops who “pulled him over”, bored about his plans for the night, what a whiner. Blocked him.

It is a sad commentary that the youth celebrate the fake Hollywood Hero’s of TV and the movie screen when we have True Hero’s returning every day from Iraq and Afganistan; some gravely wounded and damaged. While Hollywood makes larger than life Fantasy Hero’s like Stallone and his ilk who never served. In many cases these Hollywood Fantasy’s fled the country in abject fear of having to serve. While our humble hero soldier’s gave their all. These day’s I cannot pass a cemetary without thanking our soldiers in prayer, and to pray that one day the Entitled Liberals who mock them, wake up to the fact that without these soldiers a dictator would have executed them already.

  • Debra

It only matters that we, who love our Freedoms and our Military men and women who sacrifice their blood, sweat and tears for us to be free will mourn the loss of Chris Kyle. I am a Military daughter, wife and Mom and have seen many places and a few countries and believe me, I was always glad to be home in the USA! We were stationed overseas at the time that the Lybia conflict with the Bombing of the Pan Am flight took place and flying through Englands airports with armed guards was unsettling to say the least with a 2yr old and a new born in tow. So when all these Liberal Facist like to spue their hate I just want to say…..You don’t like it here, Leave, Go live in N. Korea, Russia, Africa, Cuba or any where else that people flee from to come here to get away from a tyranical Government, Nothing and No One Will Stop You! Please Go! And don’t come back! God Bless Dean Cain!

One man fights so that other’s can live a life of freedom… a life where hard work can get you nice things and self respect a life where you can voice your own oppinion and not got to jail for it…. the other who calls the figher a murderer…. is a taker… one who expects others to pay his way. A lazy slug who leaches off the backs of others. One who does not know the meaning of Self respect…. I’m just thankful we have so many of the first kind of MAN. RIP Chris… Thank you for the life you gave up.. even as you were trying to HELP someone in need. We need more men like you.

not sure how Dr. Ron Paul fits into any of this.. I’ll assume you’re aware he was a combat flight surgeon in Nam?

    • Kelly Layne

after Chris was killed he said some ignorant things about his death

      • Randy Wilson

Kyle told some horrible lies about Ventura, where’s was all the outrage over that? Ron can have an opinion if he likes, he earned it the hard way elbow deep in blood, I would say he should have chosen his words more carefully

    • Richard Sturms

Perhaps you didn’t read what he said that he deserved to die because he fought for his country? Mr paul has said we deserved to be attacked on 9/11, is actually against any thing the military has done, that we shouldn’t have gone to war against Japan in WW2 etc.We are aware of what he did,as much as we are aware of what he’s doing and saying about those who took his place on the battlefield

This story is a tragedy. Thank you Mr. Cain for defending Chris’ honor and his sacrifice. A man who was trying to do what was right for a fellow Marine, and he lost his life for doing what his code told him to do. I’m thankful there are men like Chris Kyle, his story will live on in eternity, and I for one will do all I can to make this happen.

chris kyle is an american hero, he fought for our freedom here in america as well as for the freedoms of other countries, where he fought, who longed to be free. freedom may be FREE but does not come cheap.

      • GaylePutt

        Takes one to know one….

    • alvinjh

You’d have to reach way above your head while standing on a ladder to even see the bottom of Chris Kyle’s ass. You’re a little man…with no character and no center. You’d pee in your pants like a little princess if you’d ever had to face someone like Kyle did–an enemy with a gun who wanted very much to kill you. I have such respect for people like him and contempt for people like you that it is difficult to convey how much I loath you kind. He fought to make the world sage for idiots like YOU.

      • Mac

First of all let me say I have all the respect in the world for Chris Kyle, as I served my country also. Second you need to learn to read better, I guess sarcasm for the man who said “he was nothing but a hitman for the government” is something you don’t recognize. So unless you have served my country and passed 2nd grade reading I suggest you shut your trap and go serve and learn how to read instead of jumping to such a stupid conclusion and ridicule me for something you have no Godly clue about. Cause this was a reply to what scrillakev had said, you idiot.

Kept thinking of that episode while I read this article, best thing on tv.

  • CaptKent

“Chief Chris Kyle’s war efforts certainly put him in the category of a
national hero and I salute him. He played an important and successful
role in defending and saving the lives of more American military men and
women than we can possibly know. Had his exploits happened in a
popular war I am certain he would have had a ticker tape parade in New
York like popular war heroes of the first and second world wars. That’s
a shame. The problem is that not since the second world war have we
gone to war for the reason to protect America from aggression. Not
since then has our freedom and way of life been threatened by a waring
power. Wars since then have been for political and money making shams
of the power elites. Chief Kyle was though caught up in one of these
war scams, however, that in no way must take anything away from his
bravery and skill at doing his job of saving lives. On the field of
battle soldiers do what they do best: kill the enemy and save the lives
of their comrades in arms. Capt. Kent Brashear: Hand salute!.”

I really despise anyone who calls our military men and women Murderers or as the person called them paid “hit men for the government”! First of all the amount of pay they get is NOT ENOUGH when it comes to defending your right to speak unjustly about them. And…it is evident by your photo (and I could be wrong but, I doubt it!) that you are in no position to pass judgement on anyone as you appear to look like a common thug and scumbag!!! When is the last time you did anything righteous for your country or community??? I’d bet everything I have that the answer to that is absolutely NOTHING!!!! Though you have a right to speak, (unfortunately) you really should just……. shut up! Believe me it is everything with in this former Marines mother to not cuss you out. Thank God I have way more class then that. So do us all a favor and go do your nothing and let us honor our heroes who have done something!!! Keeping this country free! Dumb ass!

All these commie/lib/clowns should go to other countries and speak their mind freely, and see how long they stay free or live for that matter. Spoiled rotten, and living in a bubble here in the USA, and can’t see the global reality of what is at stake.

Ignorant people vote, and that is scary, that is why we have the mess we do now in Washington DC and at every level of Gov. Greedy, short sighted people who live off the Gov dole get these people elected, and that includes public unions and Gov workers.

They get taxpayer money, and pay their taxes with what? Right, taxpayer money. That’s a pyramid scheme that has gone too far along with the free money being printed too by the so called Fed Reserve.

  • Hal Fast

Same party that calls our soldiers murderers is the one that caused over 700,000 people to die on American solid over their slaves. Same party that condones and supports gov taxpayer’s dollars for baby killing machines for $$$ called planned abortionhood, who killed over 333 THOUSAND babies last year, and over 55 MILLION babies have died through abortion clinics since Roe Vs. Wade.

This “D” left wing commie party has assisted and funded almost as many baby deaths as people died in WWII when hitler was in power. Plus the same party that yells and screams when cop killers, and mass murderers and rapist are sentenced to death as inhumane, but don’t think for a second the ripping a baby to pieces isn’t.

The same party that wants everybody to stay out of the mother’s womb and it none of their business, wants the very same people to be 100% responsible financially for the abortion. What is wrong with that picture? Right, anything to get their way, right, wrong, or indifferent, i.e evil.
