That’s right. First, President Empty Chair didn’t bother meeting with the Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. He has “a lot on his plate,” you see. Now, it’s being completely nixed. Laser-like focus on jobs? Members of his jobs council couldn’t even save their own jobs!

The jobs council was set to expire. Now the news comes that it won’t be renewed.

Oh, snap. More time for golf! Of course, that really didn’t matter. It’s not like President Obama took the time out to meet with them anyway.

And, win.

Hey, the White House told us yesterday that the economy is “poised” for growth and job creation. They just forgot to mention that to, you know, the jobs council.

#OnObamasPlate: Obama can’t meet with Jobs Council because ‘a lot on his plate’

  • Gloves Donahue, Jr.

It was always pretend, always meaningless, just a show.
    That’s our Barry!

    • Arthur E Jackson

And I thought Reagan was our first actor for a President. It turns out Obama is an actor playing the role of a President, poorly I might add

    • ZoriahShepard

He’s been re-elected. He doesn’t have to pretend like he cares anymore.

  • Aaron

This is the equivalent of a child throwing away a toy they haven’t played with in 2 years.

  • V the K

Jobs, schmobs. Obama is too busy with the important stuff — Amnesty, Gun Control, and Global Warming — to concern himself with anything as banal as jobs.

    • Rabid

      You forgot #1…Golf!!

    • Michelle

And shooting skeet “all the time”

      • Arthur E Jackson

Skeet, I thought it was bull droppings?

    • Arthur E Jackson

illegal recess appointments, usurping the Constitution, wrecking the economy and installing fascism

  • NachoCheese (D)

And the silence from the state run media will not surprise me. It’s not like they pointed out that he hasn’t met with the now unemployed “jobs” council in over a year.

U-6 Total unemployed, plus all persons marginally attached to the labor
force, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent
of the civilian labor force plus all persons marginally attached to the
    labor force

NOTE: Persons marginally attached to the labor force are those who
currently are neither working nor looking for work but indicate that
they want and are available for a job and have looked for work sometime
in the past 12 months. Discouraged workers, a subset of the marginally
attached, have given a job-market related reason for not currently
looking for work. Persons employed part time for economic reasons are
those who want and are available for full-time work but have had to
    settle for a part-time schedule.

    U6 unemployment is 14.4%?
    Meh… #forward

The sheeple who voted for Obama wanted to believe that their guy, who never had a real job in his life, cared about jobs. The low information voters are easily fooled.

First comes economic collapse, then martial law. It is only a matter of months before the dictator completes his neo-Marxist revolution to destroy the Republic. He and his bureaucratic generals will be moving at lightning speed FORWARD.

    • Arthur E Jackson

If I called him lazy would that make me a racist? I am so afraid to use the English language in fear of being called a racist…..

  • Joseph Phillips

What difference does it matter now?! (I love this line – thanks, Hillary.) Barry doesn’t carry about employment, about solutions, about moving America forward. He’s all about his ego and his legacy. He’s the absolute worst president ever and he’s not done yet.

    • Arthur E Jackson

Barry, or is it Obama, which one is he using this week?

  • Silenttype78

” What difference does it make ?”

    • Tom Bannigan

I say we repeat that everytime they bring up gun control.

      • Silenttype78

        I agree!

  • Steve_J

Why not? Most of the council have moved large portions of thier companies jobs offshore.

    • Shawn

Companies do that even in a good economy, next question please

    • Frank Drebin

“And I will invest $15 billion a year in renewable
sources of energy to create five million new energy jobs over the next
decade – jobs that pay well and can’t be outsourced;…”

President Barack Obama, October 30, 2008

  • Garth Haycock

How can a group of people who never worked be out of work?

  • TocksNedlog

The council was probably filled with nothing but white guys, anyway.

  • SpelChekPlz

It is terrifying that the only thing THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES truly cares about is making America less American. And we the people chose this man as our leader. Twice.

  • RightThinking1

Don’t need it now, the election is over.

  • Herman LaClair

he is diabolical. this is all part of his plan. the economy is contracting. all is well in Obamaland.
