Last year, President Obama’s statement on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade disgustingly told Americans that their daughters’ opportunities and dreams were predicated on a legal ability to kill their own children.
“… And as we remember this historic anniversary, we must also continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.”
He also said it was a private matter that shouldn’t have government intrusion. No, seriously.
Obama said that Roe "affirms…that government should not intrude on private family matters." – except gun ownership of course.

He repeated that today when he released a statement on the 40th anniversary of the horror known as Roe v. Wade.
Obama's Roe v. Wade statement says his administration continues efforts to "minimize the need for abortion."

You can’t protect yourself with a gun or anything like that, silly women.
The full statement, as released by The White House:

Statement by the President on Roe v. Wade Anniversary
On the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we reaffirm its historic commitment to protect the health and reproductive freedom of women across this country and stand by its guiding principle: that government should not intrude on our most private family matters, and women should be able to make their own choices about their bodies and their health care. Today and every day, my Administration continues our efforts to reduce unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and minimize the need for abortion. On this anniversary, we recommit ourselves to supporting women and families in the choices they make and redouble our efforts to promote safe and healthy communities.
Not surprising, coming from arguably the most pro-abortion president in recent history.

Yes, why doesn’t he flank himself with children who have written letters asking for his protection against abortion? That’s right, he can’t. Those innocents killed in the womb can’t write letters. Because they are dead.

But maybe, just maybe, he can listen to other lives affected by abortion. The babies have been snuffed out and have no voice. But others can speak for them, and can speak out about the pain and lifelong regret.
I helped arrange abortion in college. That child wld be 40 now. I deeply regret it but I'm so grateful for God's forgiveness.

I remember pre-Roe, too. Mostly I remember a baby girl who would be 32 this year. I will forever wish I'd chosen life. #tweet4choice

Amen. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all affected by abortion. What say you, President Obama? Will you listen? Will you read the letters from women and men devastated by this horror? You can’t hear the children. But you can listen to those still alive.
