BuzzFeed 'reporter': Romney helping a dying boy sure is icky and morbid; The decent set him straight

Yes, he did. Zeke Miller of BuzzFeed tweeted that out Friday evening.

What morbid stories, pray tell? Ace of Spades, who recently called out the same “reporter” for breathlessly tweeting that Romney’s car passed a confederate flag, gets to the bottom of it.

Yep. Unreal. The “morbid story?” Mitt Romney spoke about when he helped a young boy, dying from leukemia.

The young boy asked “Brother Romney” to help him draw up a will before he died. This is from BuzzFeed’s own article:

“I went to David’s bedside and got a piece of legal paper, made it look very official,” Romney said, recounting a meeting shortly afterwards at a hospital. “And then David proceeded to tell me what he wanted to give his friends. Talked about his fishing rod, and who would get that. He talked about his skateboard, who’d get that. And his rifle, that went to his brother.”

Romney quoted from one of his favorite TV shows, “Friday Night Lights,” to describe the character of Oparowski.

“I’ve seen the character of a young man like David, who wasn’t emotional or crying. He had his eyes wide open. There’s a saying, clear eyes, full heart, can’t lose. David couldn’t lose. I loved that young man,” Romney said.

Aiding a dying boy is so icky and morbid. Only someone “out of touch” and evil would talk about such things. A BuzzFeed parody account sums it up.

Plus, how does this help Obama? What about Romney’s gaffes?!?!?

People who aren’t heartless weighed in.

Some Twitter users try to teach Zeke Miller about what is really morbid.
