As Twitchy reported, lapdogs were sitting up and begging for bones this morning at Romney’s presser on the embassy attacks.

But, it gets even worse. You see, Journalists for Obama ™ were far too busy trying to cover for The One to actually ask any foreign policy questions at the foreign policy presser.

NRO’s Trinko destroys the press on this. Here are just a few of the questions asked by “real journalists.”

1. Reporter brings up that Romney had a “toughly worded statement last night,” and asks, “Do you regret the tone at all given what we know now?”

2. “Do you think, though, coming so soon after the events really had unfolded over night was appropriate, to be weighing in on this as this crisis was unfolding in real time?” Follow-up: “What did the White House do wrong then, Gov. Romney, if they put out a statement saying they disagreed with it?”

3. “The world is watching. Isn’t this itself a mixed signal when you criticize the administration at a time that Americans are being killed? Shouldn’t politics stop for this?”

Yet, of course, the Smarty Pantsers are trying to tell us that Romney’s statement is the problem, not the egregious, and deadly, attacks on American embassies. Nor Obama’s failed policy of appeasement and laser-like focus on campaigning.

Ace of Spades joins NRO in absolutely destroying the Obama cheerleading squad in the media. Their pom-poms are surely deflated after this swoon-worthy dressing down.

They are even mixing up countries, all as cover for their dreamboat Obama.

Ace continues with the drubbing.

Ah, poet-wannabe Rick Klein. At it again.

Yes. Look at how they’ve already modified the term “real journalist.”

Beautiful, Ace. We just might pick up pom-poms and don cheerleader outfits the next time you thrash the media so handily! It’s not even a fair fight; They are handicapped by their drooling sycophancy.

Um… where are all the questions for Obama? You know, the guy who is actually screwing this whole thing up? Anyone asking why security was handled by local Libyans, why both the embassy and the Sec of State were apologizing for the free speech of private citizens instead of condemning thuggery, why Obama is off to a Vegas fundraiser instead of working, why Obama hasn’t even read a Presidential intelligence briefing in weeks, why they’re now deleting tweets… Anyone? Bueller?

Our media are a freaking disgrace.

    • gekkobear

Like Obama would take questions. He won’t take questions, and the media is too busy humping his leg to bother asking any.

      • Tom Bannigan

Maybe he can’t type or speak with all the humping going on.

    • Corrie Seames Caldwell

There was a question yelled out by a Fox guy, I believe. “Is this an act of war?” Obama put his arm around Clinton and led her out of there asap.

      • Robert Haney

Yup, I heard about this on Fox earlier today. The reporter was on Fox and he said it briefly. As Obama was turning to leave the “speech” after taking no questions, he tried yelling that one out “Is this an act of war?” and was roundly ignore. I say good on Fox for that one!

EXCLUSIVE: Open mic captures press coordinating questions for Romney “no matter who he calls on we’re covered”

    • Robert Haney

Heard this on Rush earlier today, and it was totally disgusting. They were even laughing and giggling about how they were trying to set Romney up for failure!

  • Mack Arlington

“Media after first 9/11: Did Bush miss the signs an attack was coming? Media after yesterday’s 9/11: Did Romney fail to exhibit proper tact?” — Sheer genius, yet so simple to understand if you just quit drinking that koolaid.

    • Robert Haney

This was my absolute favorite part from above. It really shows starkly how far left the media has gone.

  • SAndrews

The absolute incompetence of the mainstream media is the best weapon that Obama has. It makes his own incompetence pale in comparison.

    • Mr. Luigi

The only incompetence these leftist propagandists displayed was getting busted in front of an open mic. The only incompetence I see are people who think that one magical day they will turn into journalists.

  • KateNE

I love Ace of Spades. I really, really do.

    • jim88

I love me some twitchy but Ace is always my first read of the day and the only one I refresh every 10 minutes.

  • redheadgrl

Love this guy: this election is not about the economy, it’s about foreign policy. oops .can’t talk about that either.

    Right on!

I’m with ya, why isn’t Obama getting asked these tough questions on why this was allowed to happen in the first place? Where was Embassy security? Why were our Embassies allowed to be invaded by mobs?

Oh wait. Mr. Obama reads a statement and then doesn’t take questions. Ok. That’s just……..

  • allenbarr

Mitt said nothing wrong. put a mike to my face and i’d have lots to say about the muslems

  • J. Cox

Ace wins the interwebz.Although funny..everything he said was exactly on point, and irrefutable..though the obamessiahs followers will try to spin this for the good of….?

  • rinodino

Lol, rightie world is so weird, Lewis STRAIGHT UP TWITCH SLAPPED Ace– it’s really quite sad, he had to like respond 80 times after being Twitch slapped, so sad SMDH– Victim mentality, Malkin and company at their best……….

    • J. Cox

You are so must hurt.Nice job on the time travel thingy causing Mitts statement to cause this..but spin away.

    • gekkobear

Right, when the media takes Romney’s comment on EGYPT to mean LIBYA that is the fault of the Romney campaign.. Because as everyone knows Libya is in Egypt… it’s like a city or something, right?

Wait, it’s probably because everyone should know a journalist can’t possibly get FACTS correct in a story and should assume whatever Lewis & Co said was an outright lie… so pointing out their lie is silly?

Or was there something less idiotic you were trying to say? Want to try again?

      Use your words.

    • Corey Dennison

      Drugs are bad, m’kay?

  • AZcommenter

    Ace . . . I think I love you.
Keep pounding these ignorant hypocrites in the MSM. They’re pulling out all the stops to distract the public’s attention from Obama’s epic failures. Don’t let them get away with it.

  • Thom Harris

Dave Travis…reading is hard, isn’t it. If you felt that Lewis won, then you need to get hooked on Phonics. Apparently our left wing educational system didn’t help you. Don’t think you did too well in American History either.

  • Robert

I knew Ace was funny, but I didn’t know he was that funny.

  • RIChris

It’s obvious that Obama’s refusal to accept the responsibilities of the office of President.have lead the media to believe he isn’t really. Because someone has to be held accountable when things go awry they naturally go to the man who was President, George W. Bush, or to the man who will be President, Mitt Romney. Simple.

  • twolaneflash

Ace, that was a giant, economy sized can o’whoop ass! Good on you.

  • Baba Ghanoush

When President Romney….uh I mean Governor Romney stepped up to the mic to deliver his presser this morning, I felt like he should be the guy in charge. He handled the situation with confidence and displayed great patriotism.

    • Corey Dennison

Exactly: “one fo these things is not not like the other…”
One seemed Presidential, and the other seemed like he was pissed off that he may have to re-schedule a tee-time or something.

  • smorkingapple

Guys, do you realize your swirling the bowl now? Did you hear the toilet flush this morning? If not, you might want to break out the paddles, it’s quite dark and nasty down there. Still, I cheer you on.

  • KatBerghage

    3. “The world is watching. Isn’t this itself a mixed signal when you criticize the administration at a time that Americans are being killed? Shouldn’t politics stop for this?”
This from the “Dissent is Patriotic” Crowd? They really do think the American public is unable to remember 5 minutes ago, let alone 5 years, or 10. There is a special name for these guys, rhymes with baiter. Which also applies.

  • stuckinIL4now

Since Obama is so unwilling to do his job as president and Romney has shown beyond a doubt that he’s got the right stuff, why don’t we just swear-in Romney today and dispense with the formality of the election? The traitorous dishonorable slimestream media is already up-to-speed on the delusion, deception and distortion they have planned for the Romney presidency so why delay the inevitable? Let’s give Obama his pink slip today–he’s been on a paid gubmint vacation for 4 years anyway, why don’t we send him on an approved paid vacation for the last 4 months of his one-term prezuhduncy?

  • CalCon10

The news is not the news. The real news is what someone said about what someone else said about the news.

Got it? Orwell would be proud.

  • stillinthe60s

Per chance could the Meme Stream Media be practicing their cross examination techniques because they believe Romney’s going to be the next president? Just saying…

    • Corey Dennison

The wall, and the writing on it of which, the media is now beginning to see…

  • Mickey Byrd

    Desperation is growing each day:

The “media???” is trying to level even the most absurd charges at Romney.
Obama is running anywhere he can to grab $5.00 more. Everything speaks of a desperate group.

Obama is willing to be anywhere, doing anything except facing his fears of the responsibility required by being in the Oval office.

  • RebeccaH

The reporters mixed up Libya and Egypt deliberately because they think the American public is so damn dumb, WE don’t know the difference.

  • NWFL Conservative

And once again, Nero is fiddling in Vegas while the Embassy burns.

And our drive by lamestream media STILL think Romney’s statement is the most newsworthy event in this foreign policy fiasco.

I honestly try to see things from our media’s point of view, I really do, but try as I might, I am simply just not flexible enough to shove my head up my ass

  • fivegreatkids

So for those of us who don’t “twitter” does this guy “Ace of Spades” have a blog or anything?

    • disqus_BktOMwqkBg

I believe he’s at Unless that is an unrelated Ace of Spades HQ.

  • Brenda Hellwig

When I grow up I wanna marry Ace of Spades!

  • Slam1263

I really thought this election should be about the economy.
Is Chris Stevens doing better now, than he was 4 years ago?
    Are you?
