A jury ruled George Zimmerman “not guilty” tonight, but some enraged Twitter users are threatening to take the law into their own hands:

    people making threats on twitter…yawn

    • Patriot

They’d have to leave their mom’s basement and put down their Obama-phone. Not likely to happen.

      • guest

Not justifying the threats, but spare me the Obama-phone nonsense okay?

        • Patriot

Libtroll who can’t cope with reality and has no sense of humor sez whut?

        • MeanieHead

Why? Obama started this race-baiting bullshit. Get over it, guesttroll.

        • stevesomebody

If Obama had a son, he would be a racist thug like Trayvon.

        • stevesomebody

If Obama had a son, he would be a racist thug like Trayvon.

      • Jeremy
    • Jennifer

Since we know the administration is watching, will they go after these people for making threats?

      • Todd Amend

Hell no, their the ones stirring it up.

        • ked5

kinda hard to take advantage of the crisis if there isn’t one.

      • Eric Yokom

No, they won’t. And they won’t be kicked off of twitter, for violating the rules, either.

        • DaCheezWhizKid

You WILL, however, have your Twitter account suspended for responding to these threats.

          • Kathy Garrett

            As if I care..

            BFD. Twitter is for turds.

        • mom

And Zim didnt go to jail for killing a kid

          • Cousin Libtard

A thug who had a wrap sheet for acts of violence. The media constantly showed pictures of a 12 year old Treyvon, why? He was a harden criminal; drug addict and his family profited from racist president who highlighted this case.
And what difference does it make if he was a kid? Abortions have murdered 16 million blacks since 1973!

          • MeanieHead

Shhhh DW! You’re not supposed to show any common sense whatsoever. People will think you’re educated. Obama will put you in the “terrorist” category and the IRS will audit you and your dog will get fleas. Shhhhhhhh!

          • Guest

            White collar crime destroys nations

          • Cousin Libtard

Unless you are White and not a liberal minded idiot. Who built the nations?

          • http://www.getlost.com Witchy Woman

and by the way a womens body and what she does with it is none of your business.

          • Kathy Garrett

So that means paying for their abortions is none of anyones business too.. right..

          • MeanieHead

then let the woman (or her sperm donor) pay for her “business”, not the American taxpayer.

          • Cousin Libtard

I will determined what is and what is not my business. Got it?

      • Bubba T

        Bwahahahaha yeah, as if.

No…unless they belong to the Tea Party.

      • Micki Stone

Please tell me that you are being sarcastic!

        • Jennifer

          Yes…I was!

      • Kathy Garrett

No because they are black and Holder said he won’t go after anyone black. He should be sitting in Gitmo.. him and Obama are tying to keep people low informed and low educated. Its part of their hitler regime they are following.

        • http://www.getlost.com Witchy Woman

Holder said “I don’t go after anyone who is Black” sure….
and as you speak of low informed and uneducated people you yourself are writing and spelling at a third grade level.
          Priceless.

      • FXPhillips

        Are you kidding?

The DOJ is waiting in the wings to try Zimmerman on violating Martin’s “civil rights”.

Who knew punching a guy out was a civil right

        • hiddentigercrouchingpimpslap

punching a guy who seems threatening because they’re randomly following you, and you feel you need to stand your ground, just like Zimmerman claims he was doing, hm, think about that..

          • FXPhillips

Except that wasn’t the case was it?

Zimmerman, by accounts, had lost him and was jumped from behind. That isn’t “stand your ground” as much as it is felony assault and battery

At that point all Martin had to do was go home. But he chose to burnish his street cred instead.

          • MeanieHead

That’s not why. Tell the truth. There is political, race-baiting EGG on Holder’s and Obama’s faces over there race-baiting, inflammatory remarks BEFORE the evidence was gathered. They have to do something. Besides, they have to keep you libtards occupied so you’re not thinking about the important issues, like Benghazi, the IRS scandal and the NSA scandal and all the other scandals Obama’s involved in up to his neck.

          • stevesomebody

Zimmerman never invoked stand your ground. The case turned on plain self defense. Stand your ground removes the duty to retreat and was irrelevant since Zimmerman was pinned to the ground and couldn’t retreat. Someone slamming your head against the ground is not the same thing as simply following and observing someone. It isn’t even the same ballpark.

        • http://www.getlost.com Witchy Woman

Who knew punching a stalking nut with a gun, gets you the death penalty.

          • FXPhillips

What color is the sky in your world.

          • stevesomebody

Who knew there were so many idiots like you who think simply following and observing someone while on the phone with 911 justifies an aggravated (or any) battery. Trayvon was a racist thug who decided to teach the “creepy ass cracker” a lesson and instead it was Trayvon that learned when you live like a thug you die like a thug.

        • stevesomebody

Naw. The DOJ is too smart to touch this with a 10 foot pole now that FL bungled the whole thing so badly. This trial was the train wreck of train wrecks. Of course the only way not to bungle it was not to try the dog of a case in the 1st place since it was clear cut self defense.

    • Tinfoil A22hat

Yep. “I’ll get my main!” -_o

  • Pulchritudinous

I thought more hostile energy would be put on the jurors.

    • chewydog

“I will kill Zimmerman & those bitches myself!”

I think the “& those bitches” part refers to the jurors.

There’s a kid in jail for Terrorist Threats for a joke on Facebook. If I were Queen, everyone of these people would have a cop at his/her door and their ass in jail with a $250K bond.

    • $23380515

surely you’re not suggesting these angry people be held to the same standard

      • Lyn

        angry? thats all?

      • journogal

So because they are upset at a jury’s decision, it’s okay to make threats like this. Please let me know when it’s okay to make threat to someone else on social media.

        • $23380515

thats the thing I hate with comment boards. if you don’t include a “sarc” tag then you have to go back to write a little slower for some people

          • PeriMedic

            I knew it was :).

          • Pam Rugtiv

It’s not right to call them ‘slower’; humor, irony and sarcasm is so different from region to region.

        • GsGirl

How about the older African-American woman who was interviewed on the news here in Los Angeles, who said, “that cracker is guilty, and that’s all I’m going to say in this interview”. So using the ‘N-word’ equivalent about a white person in regular converstion is okay now? Am I the only one tired of the double standard?

          • mom

This is funny… 1 word slavery…. I didnt know whites were killed for being “crackers”…

          • paul

            ask Ron Goldman

          • Seerak

How many killings would satisfy you?

          • MeanieHead

            mom is an idiot.

          • MeanieHead

You’re a real piece of work, mom. You should never breed.

          • MeanieHead

Btw, mom, you libtard, 3 black chicks beat the crap out of a white girl for playing a saxophone because they told her white people aren’t supposed to play a certain song. Where is that written in your race code? And what about the old lady who was MURDERED by the black teens just because? Or the young white chick who was MURDERED by 4 black boys for her tip money? And the white boy who was MURDERED for his tennis shoes??? Apparently, whites are being MURDERED because of your love of the word “cracker”. So stop it already unless you’re going to let whites go back to using the N word without Al and Jesse pooping their pants over it and ruining peoples lives (like Paula Deen).

          • stevesomebody

What does slavery that ended almost a century and a half ago have to do with Zimmerman or racial slurs towards him??? Yeah right nothing. Slavery is alive and well by the way, in Africa and other places but not in America.

          • Tipper Top

How many years are you going to hold your fellow citizens guilty for something we never had anything to do with? Please let us know the expiration date of your ‘collective’ race card. I swear, we’ll be holding a huge party on that date. And guess what? We’re actually nice enough to invite you even though you seemingly hate us for something we never did.

Of course we’ll probably ask you to acknowledge that without us ‘crackers’ being involved on your behalf, you’d still be in chains. But, we won’t bring up facts just now, huh? It might embarrass you and we’d hate to have that happen.

          • Susan Lynne Barbosa

Finally, someone who believes in balance!

          • matrix23225

Racism is not good whether from black or white. What’s in you heart GsGirl? Is it love? … or is it hate?

          • Tipper Top

No. No, you are not alone in being tired – sick and tired – of the double standard that has come into being in the United States of America – the place where EVERYONE is supposed to be equal. Perhaps that is what should be taught to every citizen as they grow up in our nation? Concept, huh?

      • Avery

Isn’t “angry” bad enough when you are making death threats?

      • Rachel

Making threats against fellow Americans…isn’t that considered “terrorism” now?

        • Wozz

That only applies if you happen to be a conservative, republican, christian and/or tea party member. Liberals and democrats can’t be terrorists because they are only trying to change America into the way it should have been all along! Obama told me that was true so it must be….right!! (extreme sarcasm)

    • AZWarrior

Several more are in custody being interviewed by local law enforcement. Two so far released after being charge with disorderly conduct. Thanks to Anonymous for their help in identifying the real names and addresses of those threatening to kill a human being. They may well have saved lives. Well done.

    • Escher’s House

Track ’em down and arrest ’em all. Teach ’em a lesson about threatening people.

Zimmerman is welcome to come live in my heavily armed little town.

To hell with living in my town, Zim can come live in my heavily armed house!!!

    • Kyle Schroeck

He already lives in my county, he can come live at my house, It’s well defended.

    • Mr. Right

Unfortunately Zimmerman will never enjoy his innocent life again because of race baiters like Obama and Sharpton.

      • Rachel

He can change his name and have a little cosmetic surgery, lose a few lbs and start over. No one would be the wiser.

        • sweetljk_texas

          And what about his family?

      • mom

And Trayvon will enjoy his life? Zim decided to follow this KID…”every action has a reaction” no he shouldnt enjoy his freedom… did OJ?

        • paul

          did Ron?

        • Infinite_Indeterminism

How about trying something novel for you ?

How about reviewing ALL the facts of the case, before pontificating on any part of it ?

          • Tiffany Blocker

I hope there is a dictionary available. I doubt this person understood the word pontificating.

        • ogama843

Yes, every action has a reaction. If Trayvon had just continued back to uncle’s house, instead of jumping George, he would be alive today.

          • matrix23225

If Trayvon wasnt stalked by a stranger who confronted him for no reason, he would be alive today. What would you do if Zimmerman approched you like he did Trayvon?

          • Tom Candelaria

I can tell you for a fact, I would have verbally confronted them, not turn like an animal and attacked. What would have happened had Mr Martin turned and simply asked “do you have a problem?” He would be at home and this never would have happened. Dont act like Mr Zimmerman acted aggressively by passively following someone he thought was up to no good. Mr Zimmerman screamed out for help for 10 full seconds of a brutal beating before he pulled his weapon…he wasnt looking to kill that kid. Dont be a fool…

          • Tipper Top

Trayvon stuck with violence first. How does anyone forget that? Is it too hard to accept?

          • matrix23225

Amazing how easy it is for some people to make Trayvon the bad guy , when the reality is , he was minding his own business when he was approached, harassed and killed by George Zimmerman. Anything Trayvon may have done in the past is irrelevant. He was stalked by George Zimmerman, the police said ,”Do not approch him” Zimmerman ignored the police & killed him, duh.

          • Jerry Camp

Why is this version of the events of that fateful evening nowhere to be found in the court record? Because your version is a fantasy…one that, apparently, many blacks have convinced themselves is reality.
All that court testimony, and this version is paraded around. If this is how you keep yourself warm at night…pouring further gasoline on your racism, I feel sorry for your willful ignorance. It’s a damned shame people like you are allowed to vote. It’s why we have the current mess in the White House.

          • matrix23225

People like me? Really? People like me served in Iraq! People like me vote because that’s my right as an American citizen. People like me make sure that people LIKE YOU are safe at night. It’s obvious that you are a racist and uncaring individual. And by the way, the fact that Trayvon was followed by George Zimmerman, the police said ,”Do not approach him” Zimmerman ignored the police, is a part of court record. The only one displaying willful ignorance in this chat debate is Jerry Camp. It’s pathetic how people like YOU have such warped thinking. I will not bother to reply to whatever rant you may have in response to my post, just not worth my time.

          • Jerry Camp

Great, thanks for your service…now, man up and read the actual testimony and witness interviews of this case and save your righteous indignation.

            – Where is evidence that GZ harassed TM?

            – Following someone is not illegal.

            – ‘Do not approach’ is not the same as exiting your vehicle to find out where a suspicious character has gotten off to. Neither is illegal, by the way.

            – Evidence from the prosecution ‘star’ witness, actually, points to Trayvon being the aggressor…’crazy-assed cracka’ (pervert) and (later) ‘a whup-ass’.

As far as my being an uncaring / racist individual, you don’t know me from Adam. But, I can read English (cursive even), and my agreement with the jury in this case doesn’t make me anything but better informed than you. You have posted, and continue to post, half-truths, speculation, and opinion. My warped thinking is supported by facts…yours is supported by your inherent racism.
Oh, and I could care less if you reply to my response. I mean, if my argument were built on such lazy thinking, I’d run away like a little girl, too. Actually, my little girl of 15 could debate you on this case and kick your butt as easily as I have.

          • stevesomebody

Stop lying. He wasn’t approached by Zimmerman. Zimmerman never did anything but observed him and had lost sight of Trayvon, when Trayvon, after referring to Zimmerman with a racial slur, came up on Zimmerman and violently attacked him. So says ALL the evidence. Your moronic supposition is supported by nothing but your imagination. TM was a RACIST THUG.

          • Tipper Top

Trayvon was minding his own business UNTIL the point where he went to lay in wait to confront Zimmerman. At that point, had he simply said something, turned and walked away, he’d be alive today. Instead, he hit him and he ended up dead. THAT is the moral of the story.

        • Maxx

Actually OJ immediately began looking for the killer of Nicole and Ron the day after his acquittal. He swears he saw the murderer on that dogleg right.

        • stevesomebody

You have a serious thought disorder. So what if he followed him????? It’s not even remotely illegal to follow and observe someone while calling 911. It is illegal to violently attack someone for following and observing you and it’s perfectly legal to shoot someone slamming your head against a sidewalk. TM was a racist thug who attacked the wrong “creepy ass cracker”.

If they’re so outraged about black kids getting killed, they need to go to Chicago and Detroit and work there so that this bloodshed can be stopped!

    • Shawn Smith

Another case of Fen’s Law. If leftists really cared about black teenagers being killed, they would talk non-stop about the carnage in Chicago. But since that’s a Democratic stronghold, they keep mum.

But white people didn’t kill them!

they’re killed by other thuggy bl#k teens – they don’t care. just like they don’t give a hoot about black on white crime.

      • mom

Its a shame when a black kid acts out, fight , gets suspended from school etc he’s a thug … but a white kid is known as a “kid being a kid” or a “troubled child ” after they shot up a school… wow

        • ogama843

No there are plenty of “thuggy” white kids too. Don’t you worry. It also depends on reason for suspension. Nice attempt at race baiting though.

      • cerealism

Please cite 3 cases where a black male or female killed a white male or female and has been found “not guilty” in Florida. I’ll wait.

    • Rachel

Nah, they don’t really care about black kids getting killed. They just look for a reason to go after white crackas…even if they are hispanic. Notice they never go after the killers in Chicago who kill black kids. Because the killers are black too…so they don’t CARE.

  • Derrick Murray

None of them will really do it because they are cowards.

  • Rufus_Cornpone

WIsh that fat State Attorney would shut up….she lost, get over it!

    • trixiewoobeans

This jury had a thankless task in front of them, and she should zip it! The nightmare of having to decide such a high-profile case, with the pressures, media attention and scrutiny! Whatever decision they made, there would be outrage on one side or the other. In a way, that must have freed them up to decide on the facts and evidence alone, since there would be an outcry no matter what, so just get down to brass tacks, weigh the evidence and make your decision. They had a terrible job to do, and she needs to stop with the CYA.

  • Guest

those who post crap like that on twit our just that twit’s. They have no guts they like to say things like that while hiding behind a computer.

  • neoface

These black thugs are just ignorant, no doubt they will end up in jail. Stupid as stupid does. I just hope there is no paper trail that leads to DOJ!!!

    • Damien Johnson

can’t you just say “thugs?” they’re wrong no matter their race.

      • neoface

Sorry, just going by their pictures. If they don’t want to be identified, they shouldn’t put their pictures up, like you.

        • Damien Johnson

          I can understand that.

          • Vicevursa

Still not necessary to bring race into it, unless this is actually about race. They don’t like the verdict, they can be mad. I don’t agree with their violent posts, but I understand their anger (right or wrong)

          • Rachel

I don’t understand their anger. Kids are murdered every day in Chicago…young kids and young teens. Many alot more “innocent” than Trayvon Martin. These angry people don’t seem to give a damn about THEM. So they are just stupid and gullible being manipulated by the press.

          • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

Yes, where’s the outrage for Hadiya Pendleton? Non-existant, that’s where.

          • cerealism

So because this isn’t the only case of black death in our country we should undermine it’s relevancy? A man just killed a child in a nationally televised trial and was said to be completely innocent. Half of the murders in Chicago never even see a fucking courtroom. Shut the fuck up.

          • Vicevursa

Understanding their anger isn’t all that hard to fathom. The manipulation by the press/media works both ways. Those who agree with the verdict are mad at the those who disagree with the verdict. Just look at the comments on this story. The anger, the name calling, and for some the prejudice/racist comments… It’s a bit self-righteous to think it’s okay to do that. In my opinion it is no more right to make hateful threats towards Zimmerman as it is to make hateful comments towards those who disagree with the verdict. (Yes, I understand the legality of both, but what about the morality? Maybe that doesn’t matter.) I disagree with both sides.

What I do believe is that Zimmerman’s trial was fair. The prosecution didn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he had murderous intent when he killed Martin. I do not know who exactly started things between Zimmerman and Martin that night. Only the two of them will ever know the actual truth. I respect the process. I understand the prosecution has the burden of proof and the defense only needs to ensure that reasonable doubt is present. That is the justice system I love about this country.

We all knew 15 months ago that this trial was going to be a hot button (particularly via the internet (media). Regardless of which way this trial went, people were going to be upset with the verdict. I believe we have to allow for the human emotion in all this. We all are guilty of judging others. That is because we all have the right to an opinion. That’s okay. I don’t necessarily want a place where we all agree. Hopefully, situations like this open the dialog. Rachel, you are right, kids are dying all the time in Chicago and around the country. I do not agree with the blanket statement that those angry about the verdict do not care about other kids who are dying. You raise a good point, what are they doing about that? What are any of us doing about that? It is easy to say that we should arm ourselves. How many of us spend any time trying to help that situation? Or should we? Is it our problem, really? As long as it stays off our lawn and out of our neighborhood, it is someone else’s problem. I certainly hope that the vitriol from both sides of this issue stops so healthy, productive discussion can occur.

MILLIONS $$$$$$$$$$$$$ of taxpayer money was wasted by the Governor Scott by not accepting the now correct findings of the Sanford Police that there was no prima facie case to charge Zimmerman with. It should not have been necessary to spend many millions of TAXPAYER money to get no more evidence in almost a year and a half than the Sanford Police had after a month ! As much as the local politicians tried through firings and secret interviews to gather enough lies to imprison Zimmerman due to racist demands they failed ! Those politicians should now be held responsible for their deceptions and fraudulent actions ! This was an anti – gun attack in the beginning and in the end with a façade of due process for Martin. That is why Obama got involved In it for his surrogate son Trayvor.. But self defense held up in front of a jury of six strong women , and we are as Americans still allowed to defend ourselves !

Zimmerman had better have some plastic surgery, grow a beard and mustache and acquire an ID alias. He will never be safe unless he can hide his person and whereabouts. Sadly, he will be the target of hate mongers and bigots who are blinded by the racial discrimination of political correctness:

Justice was done. I would have voted for manslaughter, not murder in the second degree, but the jury acted. That’s the justice system in action. Get over it.

    • Hiraghm

I would have voted, “why the hell are you wasting my time and taxpayer dollars?”

our State A.G. once charged a man with murder just so he could dismiss the charges on what was clearly a case of self-defense. That way the man didn’t have it hanging over his head the rest of his life.

My personal “stand your ground” rule is simply this: “if you hit me, I will try to kill you. It won’t end until one of us is dead.” Nobody is allowed to hit me.

It used to be, if you instigated violence, whatever resulted was your fault. Now, they expect people to take a beating, and even though they’re able to apply superior force to end it, they just gotta take the beating because the child-barbarians among us might riot.

      John Bernard Books:
      I won’t be wronged. I won’t be insulted. I won’t be laid a-hand on. I
don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them. – The Shootist

  • Raye09

This is pathetic, utterly pathetic. These people act like animals and ignore facts, the reality is the prosecution had no evidence of racial profiling, and all of the evidence was in George Zimmermans favor. It was clearly self defense.

The burden of proof rest on the accuser, and the accusers had nothing. Top that off with an easily coerced and weak resolve on the states part(they didn’t have the balls to stand by their original judgement and caved into pressure), and it was a given that Geroge Zimmerman would be found not guilty.

I am not even going to bother with the celeb reactions, I can only take so much vulgarity and stupidity.

    • Hiraghm

Geraldo et al are expressing sympathy to the parents.
Personally, I want to rhetorically b-slap them.

The tragedy of Trayvon Martin’s death lies at the feet of his parents. They didn’t give proper oversight, apparently, to keep him from doing weed, and nobody taught him not to attack an adult male.

      • http://www.tempeteaparty.org Lee Reynolds

        Exactly.

If his parents had raised him right, not only would he be alive, he’d be an A student on his way to college and a bright future. Who knows what he might have contributed to the world.

But instead his parents didn’t raise him right. They failed to protect him from falling into black thug culture. So now he’s dead and all that he might have done and been died with him.

Here’s an idea, Brave…next time you are high and walking through a neighborhood you don’t live in, and the neighborhood watch guy is following you to see what you are up to, don’t freaking cold-cock him and beat his head into concrete and tell him you’re going to kill him. Just go the freak home like a normal person. Or else you might wind up dead (and you will have been asking for it).

        • Braveheart

So trayvon told gz that he was going to kill him? I didn’t hear that in the recording.maybe it’s because Zimmerman was screaming for help in his extremely young sounding voice, but im sure you heard it,since you we’re there.

          • Braveheart

Is it a proven fact that Martin threw the first punch? What makes you think trayvon didn’t beat that coward senseless in self defense? Oh that’s right, the man with the crimimal past said trayvon threw the first punch.

          • Rachel

Sweet child’s facebook postings talked about some fire-ass “purple drank” he liked to use to get high, and getting a gun, and hating on white people, and alot of other unsavory things, like his vicious disrespect for women. Yeah, he was a REAL ANGEL! But George was the aggressor, you think? Really. And yet….why was there not a scratch on the little angel from a fight? Sure George was the aggressor…in your racist dreams.

          • Braveheart

Are you telling me that trayvon Martin was the only child on twitter/Facebook claiming to be something he isn’t? Was he an angle? No,but Zimmerman has a documented history of violence towards women and cops.He shouldn’t be legally allowed to own a gun.The only reason trayvon didn’t have a scratch is because some people know how to use thier God given abilities.

          • Rachel

Keep your head in the sand if you want…the kid was a thug. Not the cute 13 yr old in the photos the media chose to use…and ignoring REALITY about him. http://patdollard.com/2013/06/trayvon-martins-involvement-in-local-burglaries-covered-up-by-media-school-police/

          • Braveheart

Im not denying the fact that the kid had issues, but a killer he was not.You on the other refuse to acknowledge the fact that George Zimmerman has a criminal record for aggressive behavior and shouldn’t’ve been in possession of a fire arm the night he senselessly took trayvon Martins life

      • MarcusFenix

Let’s be honest, outside of the verdict for a moment.

I’ve pointed out to others here, that Martin’s actions weren’t that of a scared victim, or someone afraid of having criminal actions being done to them.

Martin, nor the girl on the phone, ever stopped their call and dialed 911. All indications, from the calls and other information show that he knew he was being followed for quite some time, but didn’t care enough to do anything about it? Martin didn’t look for a safe place to go, he didn’t just walk up to a house and started banging on a door for assistance. There was no indication Martin made any attempt at trying to get as far from the situation as possible. Rather than summon help from homes around him, or calling the police himself…he acted in an irrational manner. Call it the drugs in his system, call it the “thug” in him, or whatever, but his actions were certainly not of someone who was afraid of being victimized If Martin had a gun, and shot Zimmerman, you’d have no problem with this. If both had a gun, would you have found them on equal terms?

Regardless of how they got there, your relative sizes, or any other factor…if someone is on top of you, pounding your head into the ground, and you have a weapon, your first instinct is to get your weapon. Had Zimmerman pushed him off and THEN shot him while he was on the ground, then Zimmerman would deserve to go to jail.

Zimmerman pulled the gun out and shot him when they were within 2-4 inches of each other…which would indicate that Martin was laying on top of him and pounding his head MMA style, as has been demonstrated. Zimmerman went for a weapon, just like anyone else would have, you and I included. It’s a natural response. It was a fight that, sadly for Martin in this case, he lost more than just a brawl when the dust settled.

It’s truly sad that Martin is dead. There’s nothing that can be done about it at this point, however. For all of the things Zimmerman is, or is not, he has to live with those actions and consequences.

But Martin wasn’t the cute, innocent child people want to make him out to be. His death doesn’t change who or what he was in life. Portraying him as a victim is one thing, but trying to put him in the light of being a *helpless* or *scared* victim isn’t the truth, no matter how you wish it were so.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, that’s just how it is.

Isn’t there a kid in jail for the last 6 months and on suicide watch with $500,000 bail for a comment on a game site which he end with “lol jk” where jk means just kidding. I guess actual threats on twitter are not as serious as joking threats on a game site.

  • hiddentigercrouchingpimpslap

All of you people are pretty much just as idiotic as those people making threats on twitter. Pathetic.

    • MarcusFenix

Way to add something intelligent or worthwhile to the discussion.

      • hiddentigercrouchingpimpslap

ironic, you ask something intelligent and worthwhile be added to a discussion like this? 0.o. Ridiculous, and my statement is truth, that’s about intelligent as its going to get with idiots like you and everyone else in the forum talking about such as trivial case.

        • MarcusFenix

Actually, it would have been nice, if you were able to muster something like that into a discussion.

If your statement is true, you could have at least validated it with some sort of information, or pointing to the lack thereof, with regard to the point. My statement was more in pointing out your lack of said points, hence it was a point in and of itself.

I do, however, find it funny that you call us idiots, then call a case that has been garnering national attention and massive public responses as “trivial”.

Kind of puts the shoe on the other foot there, son.

          • hiddentigercrouchingpimpslap

The only thing worth adding to the discussion is what truly happened, one unbiased sight, that overlooked the entire event up close. Have you not looked at the forum, what percentage of the comments are actually intelligible and help with anything, let alone don’t make people look any different from the foolish level of what people say on twitter, yet they criticize them.
And yes I do believe it is trivial, Gangam Style garnered national attention and nobody or most of the people who liked it can’t even understand the words that were said. The entire world could be looking at this case and it wouldn’t be any less trivial, what complicates things is the fact that theirs different factors, different perspectives, just different people in general, and not only are these people trying to achieve justice or excuse Zimmerman based on their own perspectives of the case and what has been revealed/believed to have happened, but simple fact is humanity is flawed, human beings are flawed and imperfect, and we try to achieve true justice, which only a perfect being or group could even come close to achieving, however as long as we are imperfect and flawed beings we will always only achieve, at best, flawed justice. There is a lot more I could say haha, but of course im not trying to write a book on a comment section. Later, son.

          • MarcusFenix

Took a minute, since your discussion was slightly incoherent there for a bit.

The only people who know exactly what happened, directly, are Zimmerman and Martin. Martin can’t give that testimony, so Zimmerman is all that remains. Whether he told the absolute truth, a decent but flawed recollection….anything…is all you have to go on.

I think that trying to compare a song from halfway around the world, in another language, to a murder trial in the country in which the offense was committed, and then trying to tie relevance together using that analogy is weak, at best. If you want to be specific, people listen to plenty of music without knowing the words, because they like the beats, rhythm, syncopation, etc. I listen to things in languages I don’t speak, because I like the actual tune, though I do tend to look up the words.

Secondarily, considering something trivial is in the eye of the individual, a group, society, and so on. Someone in Russia may find it trivia yes, but when confined to the United States, clearly it was viewed as important. The level of coverage, both before and now after, basically waylay any idea you may have that it is trivial in nature. If it were trivial, there wouldn’t be a discussion about it, because it wouldn’t matter enough to do so. So, on that point, I feel you’re incredibly wrong, and the nonstop media coverage justifies that conclusion.

Yes, our system of laws and justice are flawed. If you are looking for perfect justice, then whatever spiritual or religious views you have may be the only comfort. In this case, however, the jurors proceeded with levying a verdict based on available evidence, testimony, and legal precedent. The verdict they delivered, to the best of their ability, is what we’re left with.

Now, don’t forget to brush your teeth before bedtime, kid, because we’re done. 😉

What do you mean “you people?”

      • hiddentigercrouchingpimpslap

cute…but if you need clarification you people=everyone on this forum

        • http://www.tempeteaparty.org Lee Reynolds

Everyone includes you, so welcome to the club.

  • Braveheart

Zimmerman is a lowlife and so are those who believe he deserves to be a free man.He stalked and senselessly killed that young man simply because of the color of his skin.couldn’t take a well deserved beating for stalking so he pulls his gun out and ends his life.

    • Tyrone Slothrop

Yeah, he should have just laid there and let Trayvon beat the living crap out of him, because that’s what whitey deserves. Is that what you’re saying, BH?

      • Braveheart

Not at all,he should’ve just kept his distance like the dispatcher told him.I want someone to explain to me how in the hell can a person scream for help and reach for a gun when a much bigger person is supposedly manhandling him? This isn’t Hollywood people, that’s just not possible.

        • Infinite_Indeterminism

What has come out about that, is that T was banging Z’s head against the pavement – without covering Z’s mouth and nose…

Logically, then, it is actually possible to both scream (to the extent you have available oxygen), and to keep fumbling about around your waistline until you can find and get a grip on your weapon.

I suggest you review the ENTIRE evidence of the case before you try finding fault with it – your current attempt is, frankly, about as weak as the feeble emanations we had from Oprah on the occasion of the jury’s verdict.

          • Braveheart

Nonsense,if he can reach for his weapon and scream like a young person, then he could’ve just as easily pushed trayvon of him and drawn his gun and made him stay on the ground until the real neighborhood protectors arrived.Every one here talks about tm smoking weed and getting kicked out of school, but no one mentions how a certain now retired judge had to flex his muscle to save his extremely aggressive son from being convicted of crimes that would have caused him the right to carry a weapon

          • Infinite_Indeterminism

Ah, so you’re on that line of …argumentation:

“Damn the evidence, full steam ahead!”

Thank you – for making this so glaringly clear.

          • Braveheart

Trayvon Martin was gunned down by a man with a history of aggression towards women and police officers, but when your Daddy is a former judge with powerful friends, you can get away with murder.

        • paul

Trayvon was home so says his women how come he did not open the door give his bro some ice tea and watch gagster rap???

    • Infinite_Indeterminism

      Interesting choice of words…

  • OldmanRick

Call me crazy or even a conspiracy nut. Regardless, this entire outrage thingy over the Martin and Zimmerman trial is being orchestrated by Marxists, the CPUSA, and our very own Marxist media to divide the country along racial lines, instigate a blood bath, and enforce martial law upon the land. Groups like the NAACP, MB, DOJ, the divisive brat, CAIR, Soros, and Ally Sharpton – race baiter, and shake down artist extraordinaire- are fanning the flames. What better way to destroy the US than have ethnic groups killing each other. We would have anarchy at its worst. Russia, China, NK, and certain elements in the middle East would be ecstatic if we began to destroy ourselves from within.

If memory serves, Rahm Emmanuel said: “Never let a crisis go to waste.” Well, we are in crisis if we let the inmates run the asylum. So sit back, remain calm, and rethink how this entire travesty came to be constantly in the public’s eye. That old saying about telling a lie loud and long enough eventually gains credence. So what individuals or groups benefit if the US fails.

Also, tell me again how this PC(Social Marxism) and diversity thingy is working out since these are two of the very reasons we have so many social problems.

OK, so how do we resolve this travesty? America wins by us not playing this stupid race game.

    • Raye09

Just 6 months ago I would have called you crazy, but in light of recent events I wouldn’t be suprised if this is the main reason for all of the race baiting surrounding this trial. I also think this is being used to cover up events. Notice how Syria talks went on the back burner to cover this trial? And what about the Boston Marathon terrorist suspect, why is the media failing to mention that Holder isn’t doing his job on case because he is inciting a race war in Florida? I hate to sound cold and callous but young kids gun each other down daily in Chicago, why is this trial of more importance than the biggest terrorist attack since 9/11?
And why don’t we still have any answers on Benghazi(a blatant lie and cover up from the jump, like hell a youtube video sparked the attack).

  • Brian

I bet 100% of these people are “anti-death penalty,” too.

  • Lei Magnus

It is sad that most of the people posting the threats cannot comprehend that by blindly threatening George Zimmerman, they are just perpetuating negative stereotypes about the African American community.

Trayvon was shot because Zimmerman found him intimidating and felt his life was in danger. Posting messages in a public forum threatening the life of Zimmerman is like saying any assumption he made about Trayvon is correct as you are all being the stereotypical “thug” common to the African American community.

If you are really pissed off about the way that the trial went, you should make the “Stand Your Ground” law more stringent, so individuals like Zimmerman cannot utilize it so quickly.

Violence begets violence people and it creates a very vicious cycle. That being said, even Trayvon’s father, Tracy, tweeted that while he may not be happy with the proceedings, he will respect the court’s decision, but is happy that now this trial will spur others to make sure this situation does not happen again (albeit his vocabulary was a little less polished).

  • doustoi

Let’s see if there are any prosecutions as a result of these Twitter threats.

    • Cousin Libtard

Black panthers(racist) offer 10k reward for Zimmerman. Will DOJ arrest them for conspiracy to commit murder? Eric Holder is a radical racist communist and he will turn a blind eye to these threats.

  • fenix1

Why aren’t these “Racist”, bleedin’ heart SOB’s (Politicians and Reverends included) pissin’ and moanin’ over all the innocent bystanders and children being gunned down by the “Gangsta” thugs in Chicago!!! Not a damned peep! Why?

  • Susan Lynne Barbosa

The victims here are the survivors. It is always worse for the survivors, especially the Zimmerman family. They will be bombarded by people who are stimulated by a situation that had nothing to do with them. If anyone, named Trayvon, or some other person, regardless of race tried to bash my head into the pavement, you better believe I would try to do what I needed to do to live.

  • oblivion328

I think he was guilty, but there was reasonable doubt, so I can’t disagree with jury making the decision they did. Anyway, I’m pretty sure death threats are an arrestable offense in much of the US.

  • Susan Lynne Barbosa

By the way…Zimmerman is not “white.” Zimmerman is a human being. He is of Jewish decent, as well as Spanish. Guess it is too bad that Zimmerman is not black, cause black-on-black crime happens too often, and the system does not respect life without colour.

  • Cousin Libtard

Kill him if you must, but you will have a real reason to sport your trousers at half mass, suggesting you are readily available to your the boys in your new house.

  • Patriotic_Psychonaut

Well, we can thank the media for making him the next Casey Anthony.

Each and every one of these specific threats should have been immediately traced and thie authors identified, arrested and prosecuted for these death threats as hate crimes. No crying, no copping pleas, no deals. Of course Holder and the DOJ did nothing the last time this happened, so we cannot expect them to actually do the jobs they took an oath to enforce now. However, had these threats been made by whites or Hispanics against Trayvon’s family had the decision gone the other way, you can be sure by Wednesday you’d see a long daisy-chain of perps being frog-walked in orage jumpsuits into a Federal arraingnment on the six o’clock news.

I’ve searched and identified three of these idiots by their real name, and from there identified one employer and one school. I have called, and talked with, law enforcement representatives from the cities of these alleged murder conspirators, as well as called the business of the one employer, including sending a cc email to ALL people in his head office. In addition, I’ve identified the school and three of the instructors of another person, and have also contacted that school’s campus police department.

  • Jack Manny

If your a hardcore drug attic or a A+ college student, what does it matter? The idiocracy some people on here have shown is just ridiculous. What Trayvon Martin was does not change the fact that Zimmerman followed him, ignored the police, and shot and murdered the boy. This will be interesting, i’ll be waiting for someone to come up with bullshit to counter what I have said.

    • Hiraghm

He did not ignore the police, he ignored a 911 operation who had no authority over him and therefore merely advised him to stay in the car.

If Martin was such a choirboy, why would it matter if Zimmerman stayed in the car or followed him? The instant Martin escalated to violence, he became the aggressor, and the criminal.

it is not murder to kill someone who’s trying to kill you. In some cases it’s not even murder to kill someone who is in the commission of a violent crime… like, say, assault and battery, or attempted murder.

  • stevesomebody

To the cult of Trayvon Martin:

You demanded charges and a trial, even though ALL evidence from Zimmerman’s documented injuries, to Trayvon’s complete lack of any injuries other than the GSW, to an eye witness who put Trayvon on top of Zimmerman beating him immediately before the shooting pointed to self defense. Zimmerman lost sight of Trayvon 4 minutes before Trayvon circled back and violently attacked him. But, you got your show trial of a man who clearly acted in self defense and who should never have been charged. The result? Not only was Zimmerman found not guilty but Trayvon was proven to be a racist who used a racial slur to refer to Zimmerman minutes before violently attacking him. This from the STATES OWN WITNESS RACHEL JEANTEL. You supported a racist thug who violently attacked a man for nothing more than simply observing him. Well, that and for being white….oh excuse me a “creepy a$$ cracker”.
