Model Joanna Krupa is known for her stints on “Real Housewives of Miami” and “Dancing with the Stars” … and for letting her merkin escape her panties in a ridiculous PETA ad. Naturally she couldn’t resist tossing some hate at hunter Kendall Jones.

Here’s her full Instagram caption:

Kendall jones is a sad excuse for a human being! Would love to see this trash in the middle of safari w out her weapons! Ignorant Human being!!!!! Wimp!!! Go w out any weapons let’s see what happens them. by @reebarnes “Here’s more of this disgusting waste of skin.” via @PhotoRepost_app

So, for the record, she’s against hunting, but would be pretty psyched to see a 19-year-old woman unarmed among wild animals.

Defending herself on Facebook, Jones notes that hunting is an important part of wildlife conservation efforts in Africa.

I just go with what the dictionary says when it comes to words. Merriam Webster says:

        ce·leb·ri·ty

        noun sə-ˈle-brə-tē

: the state of being famous or celebrated

: a person who is famous

        Dictionary.com says:

        ce·leb·ri·ty [suh-leb-ri-tee] Show IPA

        noun, plural ce·leb·ri·ties for 1.

        1.

        a famous or well-known person.

        2.

        fame; renown.

        Origin:
1350–1400; Middle English < Latin celebritās multitude, fame, festal celebration, equivalent to celebr- (stemof celeber ) often repeated, famous + -itās -ity
        Related forms

        non·ce·leb·ri·ty, noun, plural non·ce·leb·ri·ties.

        Synonyms
        2. distinction, note, eminence, stardom.

So then I suppose we should look at the definition of "famous".

        Dictionary.com says:

        fa·mous [fey-muhs] Show IPA

        adjective

        1.

having a widespread reputation, usually of a favorable nature; renowned; celebrated: a famous writer.Synonyms: famed, notable, illustrious. Antonyms: unknown, obscure.

        2.

Informal. first-rate; excellent: The singer gave a famous performance.

        3.

        notorious (used pejoratively).

        Origin:
1350–1400; Middle English < Anglo-French < Latin fāmōsus. See fame, -ous

        Merriam Webster says:

        fa·mous adjective ˈfā-məs

: known or recognized by very many people : having fame

        1

        a : widely known

I'd have to conclude that though people become "famous" through Reality TV, they would still be considered "celebrities".

Kendall cares about Kendall and her TV career. She shoots animals in controlled settings then poses with them for hours. Few are given as meat to the locals. Big game hunting is a racket that makes a very few rich and desecrates the wildlife over there.

  • MrApple

So is Joanna Krupa also a “sad excuse for a human being” when she doesn’t go mano y mano with germs and disease and instead uses modern drugs to get better? And yet she wants Kendall Jones to forego modern technology and go one on one with feral animals?

  • Ruth

She posed for a PETA ad? Someone should ask her about all the dogs and cats they kill.

  • Michael Curley

Support the 2nd amend. and peoples right to hunt, while it is true revenue from hunts helps conservation efforts I do not support big game hunting of any kind. Hunting for food and hunting for trophies are seperate things, as a conservative I find no benifit for putting her exploits on display.

    • Eric D. Mertz #NeverTrump

According to Nat Geo, what she was doing is necessary to keep the populations healthy and it provides cheap and legal meat to the local populations. The fact she managed to take a lion with a bow just makes it that much more awesome…

      • Michael Curley

Not an industry protector but Safari hunts are profit driven, yes it is an accomplishment but an unnecessery one, cheap and legal meat is not a real argument. There is not a overpopulation problem with many of the animals she highlights rhinos for example. Hunting for sustinance I support 100 percent but killing for the sake of killing is not something I support at all, and celebrating it or glorifying it only drives the center further away from the real conservative issues we need to be concentrating on, it makes it easy to portray the right as barbaric, wealthy and uncaring.

        • Roto ✓Intentionally Left Blank

Gee, there isn’t a food shortage in Africa? Whodathunk with all the “save the children” commercials…

          • Michael Curley

Not a liberal by any stretch but the better argument would be to make that these big gane ranches pay 5 dollars a day instead of 2 dollars a week to the local population. As far as lion meat being donated to “locals” huge falsehood as it is not part of African culture. Countries that indulge in big game safari hunts get incredibly small returns on the acreage the lodges occupy. Other animals are eaten but the process to preserve the kill for mounting were it is allowed means no meat is edible for for anyone. on Average these hunt clubs occupy thousands of acres of and the return to the countries GDP is to small to measure. You like a hot bad ass woman and want to highlight her ass a true strong woman I get it, but it is wrong on so may levels, unsportsmanlike on so many levels and highlighting crap like dead animals tha alienate so many possible voters. Better optics ifwater buffaloes or springbucks are highlighted, not penned up lions shot in hunting ranches that are basically retreats for animal serial killers. A family hunting for meat to provide food for their table is defensible payine 22000 to kill an animal for the sake of killing is disturbing. Read some fair and balanced reports on these ranches and u will discover that most of the time the black market is where most of the animal ends up. The villigers must be happy to see rich foriegners pay 22000 dollars to kill Lions instead of using that land to produce real food.

        • Nonameworks

Did you READ WHAT SHE WROTE?
The answer is obviously “Uh, no.” She explains what the rhino was about. Cliff’s Notes for you: It was a “green” kill in that it was not a kill. She darted it for medical treatment (lion chomp on leg, probabbly) and microchipping the horn (to prevent poaching). Jones has done more for the rhino population than all the whiners put together.

Please. For those on this track — Educate yourself. (Read something besides PETA prop).

She doesn’t have to look sad to make other people feel what she does is “ok.”

          • Michael Curley

Sorry champ before you start preaching you should read the article, cliff notes for you the black Rhino was a “green kill” not the black Rhino. Not taken from Peta prop but from her own account. Other than your clear lack of understanding of what u tell people to educate themselves with, spend some time reading about the true effects if big game hunting on the animal populations in Africa. There is not an over population of Big game animals to control, and trophy hunting does more damage to local animal and human populations. In her own words her first kill was a White Rhino with her 416 remington not a green kill. I support hunting when and where it is appropriate, and unlike u I have my facts straight, head your own words and educate yourself.

Somehow, in a liberal’s tiny mind, corporate farming is a more humane way to put food on the table than hunting. In invite these lack brains to visit a corporate farm and visit a game preserve. THEN start making moral judgments.

    • http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/features/2001/0301.marshall.html ave ngangel

When’s the last time you ate a white rhino?

      • MadPunter1963

She shot this rhino as as part of a White Rhino Green Hunt; it was taken with a dart so that a veterinarian could treat an injured leg AND take a DNA sample to add to the anti-poaching database. Afterwards, the rhino was able to walk away. Furthermore, all the animals that she does kill are fully utilized by the local people to whom she donates the animals.
But really, the real point was that we’re constantly killing animals. The cow killed for McDonald’s is no less dead than the water buffalo Ms. Jones shoots. Unless someone has managed to live a life entirely devoid of animal products (which, in today’s world is remarkably difficult), we’re all responsible for an animal in a cage, a pen, a range, etc. being killed. Most people don’t pull the trigger, they just put out the hit.

        • http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/features/2001/0301.marshall.html ave ngangel

That rhino, yes that’s what she claims. But she also posted on FB that her first kill was a white rhino she shot with a 416 Remington.
