In November, Cher called Sarah Palin a “dumb C-word.” Let’s hear it for feminism!

Palin’s brother, Chuck Health Jr., wrote an open letter to the unhinged singer. While Cher doesn’t seem too broken up over her vile tweets, her son, Elijah Blue, reached out to Palin and her family to apologize for the “ugly remarks.”

Palin’s brother shared this message on his Facebook page:

They’re not all wackos in tinsel town. I received a message today for Elijah Blue Allman, the son of Cher and Greg Allman. He apologized for his mother’s grotesque remarks about Sarah.

Thank you Elijah. We appreciate it.

Others appreciated the gesture as well.

Meanwhile …

  • World B. Free

Don’t hold your breath, anyone, waiting for an apology from that dried up old hag Cher.

  • World B. Free

Elijah seems like a decent guy. He must get that from his father’s side.

    • Cajun

I was thinking the very same thing. He’s all,,,,,Allman, that young man.

      • Suzyqpie

Thanks I had no idea regarding actual paternity.

  • Michelle ✓classified

I hope Elijah is able to get the help for his mother that she so clearly needs. Good on him for the public apology when his mother wouldn’t do it. Class act. I bet she sends him an email FULL OF CUSS WORDS, BAD PUNCTUATION AND IN ALL CAPS chapping his hide for doing it.

    • AlmaAlma

I wouldn’t be surprised if it did come out that she has got some mental health issue.

    • sarabauer

Cher is now not following Elijah (@eliasblau)& his fiancé (@kingqueenie) on twitter anymore. He also just got engaged & the girlfriend posted something like “if i were as famous Rihanna, you’d have congratulated me”

  • Janet Strable

Always loved Greg Allman, sounds like his son is a chip off the old block!!!!

  • karmafordems

I always wondered how the young man turned out. It’s amazing that people from the south always seem so nice. Props Greg, I’ve always loved you. Thanks also for your son

    • Michelle ✓classified

Same here, always kinda wondered what became of him. It’s nice to see he turned out to be a nice young man and one who doesn’t believe his mother’s behavior is OK. I hope he’s able to have some kind of influence in getting her help.

    • san rafael blue

Hmm, is Greg Allman still alive? I seem to recall him having overdoses every other week, in and out of fancy hospitals like Lindsey Lohan. I hope I’m wrong.

      • Michelle ✓classified

      • karmafordems

He’s alive and well, and making beautiful music.

      • genes ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ
Three sons and one daughter with bands. maybe they should get together.
BTW, his marriage to Crazy Lady happened at the height(depth?) of his drug problem.

        • trixiewoobeans

Between that and marrying Cher, it destroyed his career for years. Back then, hooking up with her was a surefire career-killer for a rock musician. He would immediately lose his cred and reputation. Nobody would take him seriously after that. Just hanging out, or being friends with her, could destroy an entire band’s reputation if it got around. Sounds crazy but it’s true. She was the rock music industry’s kiss-of-death, lol!

    • CatHerder ✓fire! ✓fire!

Why amazing? It’s how we were brought up to be.

  • nc ✓s & balances

If Elijah apologized, and Palin’s brother accepted it, who is anyone else to step in and say it’s “not good enough” because the “principals” weren’t directly involved? A step in the right direction is always good.

  • goldengekko

Elijah Allman must have been raised by the Allman’s family. He has class and shows respect. Thank you Elijah for apologizing for your mother, but it is she who should be sorry for the impunity showed to Mrs. Palin. (But for Cher, and for this sorry Elijah, a ho always a ho! Poor your dad who got involved with such despicable basura de mujer. But blessed are you who came out of his goodness.

  • AZWarrior

No worries Elijah, we all have a relative who says crazy $hit.

    • Slam1263

      Ahh, so true that is.
      In my family, there’s one.
      That, of course, be me.

  • URGR82

This is the type of talk that should be used in dealing with each other

  • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Mr Allman and Mr Heath have this in common– they have probably heard too many people too many times ranking out their more celebrated family member, as if their own personhood and their love for their family member were irrelevant, so long as the one doing the insulting gets to ask the inevitable “Don’t-they-embarrass-you?” question.

  • Ntr

I still remember that video or whatever when he was the young guy playing the guitar as his mother was hardly dressed and performing. So i’m sure he (unfortunately) knows her crazy better than anyone. But it’s good that he’s a respectable person. Back in the early-mid 2000s i was a fan of his band Deadsy and perhaps, after this, i’ll be checking out his new band’s music..

  • H50 ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Kudos to this young man for his apology and peacemaking efforts, but it is Cher who needs to do the apologizing. Even if she has to use all caps.

  • Zathras11 @B5

Your mother is clearly insane dude. I’m sorry.
P.S. How did you turn out so normal with her genes?

    • genes ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Obviously he takes after his father, a man who had poor taste in women.

  • thedumbblonde

He looks just like his father…who lives near me.

  • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

Like dad Gregg, Elijah Blue ROCKS! But I also agree that the apology should come from Cher herself.
    And, as usual, I won’t hold my breath.. Jawamax 8<{D}

  • BoscoBolt

Thank you, Elijah Blue – a very nice gesture.

HOWEVER, It is important to note that Cher has not removed the offending Tweet (Nov. 15).

Elijah Blue is obviously embarrassed and it’s nice that he has apologized, but his apology is for himself, not for his disgusting POS mother.

    • Patriot077

Why would it be necessary to apologize for himself? He didn’t do it. Regardless, he recognizes the hurt thrown at the Palin family and at least acknowledged it through and apology. I think he knows his mother won’t ever do it.
      I say kudos to him.

  • Axelgreaser

CLASSY FAMILY, the Palins, who have endured pure hell from Barack Obama’s ‘machine.’ Sl*t, C*nt, B*tch, Wh*re and encouragements to ‘Sh*t & P*ss in her mouth’ are just a few of the slanderous remarks from the left that has befallen this magnificent woman and first rate patriot. I would have been HONORED to call this woman my Commander In Chief and I still hold out hope for that day as many of us do, though some have fallen into Obama’s trap and are ashamed to admit it, actually believing this great lady is ‘stupid!’ If we’re lucky, and this family hasn’t been so damaged by the horrors of the Obama WH who endorsed this treatment by their usual ‘silences’, if we’re lucky she’ll serve us yet. Part 1: Part 2: And lefties, how bad can she be? Just this week Barack Obama has hi-jacked the achievements of Rosa Parks, Abraham Lincoln and today re-interpreted the words of the Pope to suit his awful agenda for America. A bad habit of his which has even included co-opting the best of Ronald Reagan when it suits his purposes. He can touch the hem of Reagans trousers, but Palin can. Will he soon be quoting and admiring Palin in his desperation to continue pulling the wool over America’s fluttering to open eyes?

  • ember

I have to wonder how many times he’s had to apologize for his mother’s behavior. Poor guy. Very nice of him to reach out to the Palins. Bet Cher goes nuts when she hears.

  • Michelle ✓classified

Body language is very telling. Elijah is not too happy in this photo and he’s got his head tilted away from his mother. This is not a warm photo of mother and son. Hmmm, I wonder what their relationship is like.

    • liberalssuck

You are a very perceptive person. I bet his dad had a great amount of influence on that young man!

  • stellatruman

It’s nice to know that despite being her son , he has more sense of decency and better manners. Clearly he is embarrassed by his mother. I kind of feel sorry for him .

  • thedumbblonde
  • Sharon Morgan

Kudos to Elijah for having the decency to step up to the plate and apologize. However, the nastiness wasn’t his. He’s got a better head on his shoulders than his mother. Thinking the Allman genes contributed greatly to his character.

  • CrowEater

I have a weird feeling about this. I wonder if that’s actually him?

  • jeanie6

Wow, if that’s accurate, it’s nice.

  • CrowEater

If that was actually her son, wouldn’t she be following him on Twitter? I’m calling BS on this one.

    • karmafordems

After his apology for his mother, perhaps she unfollowed

      • Elizabeth Fisher

        That’s what I think

    • Pat

not your place to call bs.
Sarah’s bro accepted, his place not yours.
hope you do get to be “croweater”

      • CrowEater

I don’t need permission to call bullshit on something I think is bullshit. I’d bet the house on this account turning out to be fake.

    • aliswell

CE, did you peruse his account? Seems legit. Google the guy ~ it is Elijah Blue.

    • sarabauer

Cher unfollowed him @eliasblau & his fiancé @kingqueenie on twitter. He just got engaged to a German girl & announced it on twitter but with no response from his mother. His fiancé posted something which sounded like it was directed at Cher not congratulating her because of not being rich or famous enough for the family.

  • milletime810

Somewhat related…is Chaz a son or a daughter? (neither? both?)

  • Billie Slash

Cher needs to be “Tied to the Whippin’ Post”.

  • Kristy Patullo

    Thanks, Elijah. Very classy gesture.

  • AmericanMom

Elijah’s heart is where it should be. He’s a fresh breath of decency and moral behavior in spite of his mother. I doubt his road has been easy despite the wealth of his parents.

  • Macsen Overdrive ✓re-rolled

And by son he means the real one, not Chastity.

    • keyboard jockey

I’m sure he love’s his sister.

      • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

I’d have said “sibling,” owing to the discontinuity of that person’s relationship, first sister, then brother. But Chaz was always EBA’s sibling through it all.

  • KhadijahMuhammad

Elija’s clearly trying to stage an intervention before she embarrasses herself even more.

  • JpRAustin

Greg would be proud of his son.

    • poljunkie♪

I am sure he is. He’s stil touring. :-)

      • JpRAustin

and Duane would be proud of his nephew XD

  • Mark81150 Never/Trump/Hillary

It was kind of him to make the gesture… a classy thing to do..

I’m afraid however, his mother is too rabidly partisan to ever pull her head out of her backside..

  • conservativemomma

I think Cher is literally mentally ill at this point. I am honestly sad that she is spending her last years consumed with hate. She may not realize it now or every but her son did a very gracious thing by apologizing for those horrible comments. Prayers for that whole family.

  • missyree68

You are a good man Elijah Blue. Very classy young man.

  • lainer51

    something’s fishy……..

  • Phillip Burdine

None of you are doing Elijah any favors by calling his mother worse names than she called Sarah Palin. I am sure he does not appreciate the vitriol any more than Sarah’s kids. Show some class.

  • Kimo Loka

Guess the “classy” gene comes from the Altman side of the family

  • NPDeeDee

Maybe Cher has some illness ? Alzheimers ? brain disease? Apparently she can’t deal with being irrelevant at 67+. She should volunteer at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen!

  • $19181531

Let Cher say what she wants. It reveals her lack of character, narcissism, and hatefulness. Better to see the snake in the grass than to not.

  • poljunkie♪

Good for Elijah. He gets his grace from his dad. (Gregg Allman)

  • blueniner

Somebody other than Cher raised Elijh right. Must have been Pop Greg Allman! Classy!

  • ladymalta

Cher was right when she acknowledged that she’d be around at the end of the world with the cockroaches.

  • kelly curtis

Palin and Cher arguing is like two retards wrestling during half time at a WWE event.

  • Clover11111

It’s kind of sad when you have children making apologies for the conduct of their parents. Cher needs to go to twitter rehab to learn how to stay off it. As I always say, twitter is for those who need 140 characters or less to show off their stupidity.

  • sarabauer

Cher’s son Elijah blue just got engaged & her fans on twitter have been asking her to comment & she’s deliberately ignoring them. I mean, what’s wrong with you if you can’t congratulate your own son. not her fan anymore
