On Tuesday, Glenn Beck became a first-time grandfather when his daughter Hannah gave birth to little Lorelai Rose Didonato. The proud new granddad shared a photo and the Twitterverse is in love.

Beck’s message for fans:

Hannah and Tim were amazing. Tim is the most Gentle-man I have ever met. He took notes all the way through labor as he wanted to remember everything to share with Hannah and Lorelai later. Hannah, was instantly – MOM. She looked so natural and as always, I saw the love of child immediately. Life is no longer about them, but about their child’s future.

The world may be on the edge of despair and/or total transformation, but today in our home at least, the spirit is strong, hope is alive and there is indeed peace on earth for men of goodwill.

No joke, I hope this’ll happen for me when I’m as old as you are. It’s too precious.

The Huffington Post has already blamed the child for the failure of Healthcare.gov, the government shutdown, and Detroit.

Beautiful baby. Babies are God’s way of telling the world, life can go on. The most important task a person can be given by God is the trust in caring for one of His tiniest creations and to raise that baby as He would have us do.

You watch . . . it’s like an internal switch, I saw it with my own parents, as soon as a grandchild is born something inside a grandparent’s head switches to slow down mode. Watch Beck cut back his schedule.

I would see my parents with their grandchildren and wonder who these aliens were. “candy for supper…sure” “money without chores to earn it? how much do you need?” “stop yelling at them they’re only kids. I never yelled at you like that…(yeah right). I went to my parents house one day and he was letting my sister’s ten year old drive the card around the backyard….LOL

It is called “justice” … We get to spoil them, then send them home.

My oldest called me when his daughter was about 6 months old, ‘Dad, its me, I just wanted to call and say that I’m sorry for everything I did as a child’

My mother gave my oldest the tool set my Grandfather (maternal) gave me when I was 6, the one that used to take apart the brand new Philco console TV. Fortunately, I had watched the repair guy that came in to pronounce the previous one as ‘dead’ and unplugged, then laid everything out in the order I removed it.

Dad was not happy, not happy at all. The TV repair guy loved me though.

This is the true circle of life.
