Green paint was found splattered on the Lincoln Memorial Friday morning. The memorial is closed until crews can remove the paint later today. “No words, letters or symbols were visible in the paint,” according to police.

Investigators will reportedly review surveillance footage to track down those responsible for the vandalism.
