The worst part is that it’s not even clever. The Left is both predictable and not terribly bright.

    • V the K

That is certainly true of the ones who troll Twitchy.

What gets me is whoever put this together honestly thought it was clever, witty, and making an important political statement. I guess that’s what happens when your conception of “clever, witty, and important” comes from Bill Maher and Jon Stewart.

      • MSM

Imagine the scene — Beavis and Butthead on a couch coming up with a way to mock Perry.

        • RememberSekhmet

Mike Judge is a Texan. Beavis and Butthead are likely Texan.

        • lainer51

      • j.w. freedom

Yeah and what makes you guys so smart? The government has all the control now and is keeping tabs on everyone. How does that make you feel? I suppose if you don’t have an ounce of self respect and are willing to bend over and take whatever is given to you then you deserve a dishonest controlling future. The fact that Rick Perry has sold off our education system, medical system, and others to a corrupt colluding GOVERNMENT controlled market is what should be appalling. So what if some people support abortions, women all over Texas are simply demanding the right to their bodies and future. I thought we were supposed to be an independent state. Seems there is no independence anymore since we do not even posses the power to overtake the control we no longer have. That is why you will see more of these statements popping up everywhere, until our powers are given back to us!

        • Catchance

          Wow.

” So what if some people support abortions, women all over Texas are simply demanding the right to their bodies and future.”

No, you moron, they’re demanding the right to murder babies that are OVER 20 WEEKS OLD!!!! To put that in perspective, it is not uncommon for babies to live at 22 weeks outside the womb.

They’re also demanding the right to have clinics that are not controlled, like Kermit Gosnell’s. You know who Kermit Gosnell is, don’t you? No? Well, I’m not surprised. Just another low-information DEMWIT!

        • lainer51

That was a boring diatribe of nothing but you did have one good point… yes, it is a
“corrupt colluding GOVERNMENT” and we all know who is running THAT show!

          • j.w. freedom

I’m glad we can at least agree on that point. They are all the same I fear however and a free election is just choosing between what we think are the lesser of two evils. Abortion or no abortion, if you ask me it is a very minor issue compared to the huge underlying threat we all are facing. I dont watch much mainstream media and their pundit’s opinions, but I read a lot of independent articles online. The leaks that Snowden leaked are real and remember this is for a PRIVATE CIA and government contractor (BHA). The information is something the government does not want (from either side) the public to take into account. We should all be aware of this and have the responsibility to inform ourselves and others around us through social media and public interactions.
I’m sure you people are very nice, even though we don’t agree on all of the same issues I can at least listen and try to find common ground with everyone here. Can I expect the same in return?

    • DixieAngel_76

Personally, it doesn’t offend me that he used the word ‘Shit’ on a poster. It’s his lack of wit that is offensive, but there’s no law against being vapid. But here’s the deal: which group is it who tells people that they cannot pray in school, even though the First Amendment says that they can?

I love my Gov. Gov. Perry is an honorable, trustworthy, real man.
I think the fact that Gov. Perry IS a MAN causes fear in the hearts of liberals, [ well libs are not known to have much of a heart ].
Gov Perry is the type of man that wimpy liberals can not stand. Tell the truth libs — If stranded somewhere, where you must rely on your own ability to survive, who would you want on your side ? [ Gov. Perry a man that IS a SELF MADE MAN – ] or the likes of o-bammy or Michael moore – or perhaps you would prefer bill ayers.
Regardless how the left h-tes my Gov. TRUST me there are millions of we Texans that LOVE him.

    • Mark81150

Stranded on a desert island with Ayers?

  • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

I love how these liberals act like all of Texas loves Wendy Davis and wants Rick Perry gone when it is basically just some liberals in Austin. Conservatives in Texas must let people know that these morons don’t stand for them.

    • Medicinewoman2

Sounds like Austin needs to clean up the streets & do alittle landscaping.

    • Mark81150

      Exactly…

These media halfwits can’t grasp Perry is crushing her in public popularity, she’s a “superstar” to only the hardest core of the left wing fringe, most women agree with Perry, something these media hacks will never tell America on air.

    • Joe W.

Trust me, Ben, we let everyone know every day that Texas is bright red, and we love God, guns, life, liberty and all the traditional values that made America great. The libs and gays in Austin do NOT speak for Texas….

    • Ironhawk86

Actually, Perry got a really stiff primary challenge from a woman named Debra Medina, who may very well have stolen the nomination form under his nose had Glenn Beck not outed her as 9/11 troofer on national TV. Libertarian Kathie Glass and independent Kinky Friedman have both come away with sizable portions of the governor vote that would seemingly eat away at Perry’s total but he still cruises to victory because basically the only dems in Texas are illegals, street trash in Houston’s 5th Ward, and Austin hipsters.

As for Wendy Davis, she barely won her seat last time and will probably lose it next election because of this.

      • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

Yeah, but getting a little competition from other conservatives/libertarians isn’t the same as everyone hating him as the libs want everyone to think.

    • Laura Jensen

Isn’t the Austin City motto “Keep Austin Weird”?

      • Ironhawk86

There’s a fine line between weird and stupid. Wish Austinites knew the difference.

      • Zane Henry

yes it is, but their idea of weird is copy/pasting crap from Portland, San Francisco and Seattle.

We used to be the Live Music Capital of the world, until the Cali-Okies started moving downtown and complaining about noise levels. Then we were the Food Truck Capital, until the brick and mortar restaurants started complaining and all the lots they used were sold for high-rise hotels. Basically we’re the Complaint Capital of the World now.

It was a great place to live until about 1994. Now we have environmental groups that get huge swaths of land deemed too sensitive to build on, until a liberal ex-mayor starts his own bank and allows building on that sensitive land to open up, but only if you take your loans from his bank.

Enough ranting……I really hate living here now.

        • j.w. freedom

Then move nobody is gonna miss you. Bet.

          • Zane Henry

You should go occupy a remedial English class.

You should go occupy a remedial English class.

  • MSM

Ah, such maturity! That works great in San Francis… wait what state are we talking about?

Seriously, Wendy Davis is down 15% in Texas. And in Texas a 15% down in those who did the poll translates to 23% domination on election day. Now why would Texans be unimpressed with her?

Let’s see. The people she keeps cheering on are violently threatening HER co-workers (pro-life senators) with rape and murder. Meanwhile, she doesn’t urge these pro-abort crazies to restrain themselves in the slightest. Complete neglect of co-workers safety… always a winner in Texas.

Bring violent mobs from other states to shower you with praise, hurl bile at your co-workers, and trash the capitol = equal winning strategy in Leftist fantasy world.

Also they do know that over 40 % of hispanics in Texas identify as conservative? Also they’re mostly catholics (ones that actually practice their faith) and so pro-abortion is not a winning message. Most did not come to get an abortion. So how does this effect them?

  • Mark81150

    That’s all they got?

loosers, all of them. They hate capitalism so much, they dive head first into Marxism, and cannot grasp why they are a failed movement with street junkies and a few college grads who can’t find a job that buys them a Porsche the first year..

Reality is NOT a liberal’s ally…… whining is.

  • Medicinewoman2

Why do I get the feeling these are transplants from Californication?

    • Joe W.

Austin is where we Texans keep our liberals. They don’t dare leave except to visit their pals in the Houston and Dallas inner city ghet-tos…….

      • Medicinewoman2

Well the mouth piece(Kit OConnell) above is true blue material, right down to his Occupy Austin to Gonzo journalism/scratching/something

      • j.w. freedom

    • The Penguin

How is he a RINO? Seriously, I’d like to hear why you think that.

      • Ironhawk86

First off, he used to be a dem and switched parties solely to get in with the winning team a la Bloomberg. His fiscal record is is weak sauce and filled with cronyism. and let’s not forget his infamous “you don’t have a heart” moment from the debates (I found that to be a lot more embarrassing then forgetting which fed agencies he’d shut down as I have trouble remembering which ones I’d keep) when it came to handouts for illegals. Not in the same RINO class as Romney and McCain but nowhere near enough conservative economically for me. He gets his votes by playing up the social conservative angle which I couldn’t care less about for the most part.

        • mike_in_kosovo

First off, he used to be a dem and switched parties solely to get in with the winning team a la Bloomber

And you know this, how? It couldn’t have been dissatisfaction with the Democrat party?

          • Ironhawk86

If it was dissatisfaction with the dems, the timing could not have been more perfect for him. Shortly after his party switch he ran for Agricultural Commissioner against Jim Hightower, who was begging to be knocked off with his widely known corruption. During his tenure he did quite a bit smooching with the Clintons over healthcare “reform”. After Lt. Gov Bob Bullock had to retire in ’99 due to poor health (he died shortly afterwards), Perry was able to narrowly eek out a victory for the position by basically not doing anything other than piggyback on the party affiliation of George W. Bush, even though its pretty well documented that the two despise each other. Once Bush became POTUS, Perry got the governorship by default and has kept it by default ever since due to the dems ineptitude in the state.

          • mike_in_kosovo

Actually, he was recruited to the Reps by Rove.

    • BAW

Hard for me to speak ill of an Aggie so I will say that Perry has not been a bad governor. He’s done some things right but overall the success in Texas rests with our legislature. They have the real power and are truly conservative. Perry is more of a politician. There were plenty of people unhappy with things he had done so his victory over KBH is not as significant as many might think. As a Senator, she also had not done a bad job (like Cornyn) but a DC Republican was not considered a good choice to replace Perry. Cruz (so far) is the real Texas conservative at the national level. But that’s just my perspective.
