What … you’re not buying that Glenn Beck took to Twitter to reveal his “50 Shades of Grey” obsession?

After all, it was just last year that he launched a book promotion aimed at bumping “50 Shades” from the Amazon bestseller list.

So was Beck hacked?

Producer Stu Burguiere grabbed the reins of Beck’s Twitter account to, er,  promote “The Wonderful World of Stu.”

Heh. What could go wrong? This:

Stu was a hit with Beck’s followers.

Much love for Glenn, but Pat and Stu are like 80% of the reason I listen to Glenn’s show.

I may be too old, but two questions:
    1) Why is this supposed to be funny?
    2) Why didn’t Anthony Weiner blame this guy?

Stu’s show is awesome. It’s one of the few political comedies that doesn’t have to rely on crassness or hostility to keep the viewer tuned in.

was that even supposed to be funny?

It’s funny in that Glenn now has to wait until Monday to give Stu grief on the air for this stunt. Of course Glenn could always tell the director of Stu’a new Blaze TV show to keep him out of focus.

It’s funny in that we get to watch someone who is up on a pillar get knocked down for a short time.
