John Kerry was all set to award Samira Ibrahim the International Women of Courage Award … before The Weekly Standard exposed her anti-Semitic, terrorism-loving tweets. Ibrahim’s name has been removed from the State Department’s “Women of Courage” list and the presentation of the award has been postponed while her “alleged anti-Semitic remarks” are reviewed.
Hey, State Department, review this:
رفضت الاعتذار للوبى الصهيونى فى امريكا عن تصريحات سابقة معادية للصهيونية تحت ضغوط من الحكومة الامريكية فتم سحب الجائزة #سميرة_ابراهيم

#PT Samira: I refused to apologize to the "Zionist" lobby.
Samira is lying again:)no huni because you dont deserve it pic.twitter.com/sZ3yOwTMvW— Mina مينا (@Minaism) March 8, 2013
So, is Ibrahim dropping the “hacking” buffoonery now that she’s not being honored today? Or will she conveniently claim her account was “stolen” again?
Dear Samira, More tweets are on their way to your fans in the US embassy 🙂
p.s it's all about America now.— Mina مينا (@Minaism) March 8, 2013
So Now Samira is admitting that she has issued "anti zionist" statements. Dear your tweets were antisemitic #antisemitism

The Weekly Standard provides a more complete translation via Egyptian activist Mina Rezkalla:
I refuse to apologize to the Zionist lobby in America regarding my previous anti-Zionist statements under pressure from American government therefore they withdrew the award.

On Thursday, blogger Ace of Spades gave the State Department the business and mocked the utterly absurd “hacking” story. More from Ace:
.@statedept will anyone at all be disciplined for lying to the public or are you just going to sweep it under the rug again?

.@statedept I'm sure this is a terribly hard decision for you. I truly have no earthly idea which you'll chose.

But Ace, should the State Department really jump to conclusions? Remember, Howard Kurtz says it’s prudent to wait in situations like this:
