Connecticut Post reporter Ken Dixon, the originator of the Newtown heckling hoax, doubled down on his lies on Wednesday. In response to a tweet asking if “heckle” was the right word, he replied, “Yes,” and defined heckle as “objections designed to embarrass.”

The anti-gun zealot repeated his deceitful rubbish in a Friday evening column.

Third verse, same as the first. After claiming, again, that gun enthusiasts “heckled” and “interrupted” Newtown dad Neil Heslin, Dixon wrote:

He rhetorically asked what gave people the right to own the type of military-style weaponry that killed 26 in the school, when they piped up “The Second Amendment,” until Senate Majority Leader Martin Looney offered to empty the room.

No, you dishonest hack, when Heslin asked the audience his question they didn’t “pipe up” with anything. Second Amendment supporters only responded after Heslin paused for their answer and announced, “Not one person can answer that question.” And even Heslin doesn’t appear to believe he was heckled.

But tripling down on the heckling hoax wasn’t enough for ethically-challenged liar Ken Dixon. The pallid gun grabber added a little race-baiting to the mix by explaining the “hecklers” were “angry, mostly white guys.” He added:

Remember back last fall, when you’d occasionally see a gun enthusiast mention the Second Amendment as a remedy to a presidential election that went the wrong way? Yep, that was a threat against Barack Obama.

You know, because of racism and “angry, mostly white guys.”

Dixon also used his platform to push his real agenda. Surprise! It has nothing to do with the truth.

If Connecticut doesn’t end up with the toughest gun-control laws in the nation, the General Assembly will have failed its post-Sandy Hook School mission.

Agenda-driven, imbecilic and reactionary journalists are more dangerous to this country than any piece of “scary black” polymer and steel. Dixon is yet the latest poster child for the “cookies and milk” crowd. Perhaps in his world, when a home intruder invades, he can flash his DNC card at the perp and scare him away with the latest copy of “The Nation.”

Lying and pushing agendas, doctoring tape, yadda are not protected by the first amendment or have anything to do with journalism. The paper is krap.

  • wwbdinct

Screw this guy! He’s a nobody who’s desperately seeking attention on the national stage. CT Post is a 4th rate rag. No one reads this crap newspaper. I imagine Piers will come calling. Another dancer on the graves.

    • Catchance

Yes, so many has-beens and coulda-beens willing to use death to further and/or resurrect their careers. I can forgive the father of the slain child… it’s understandable that he’s lashing out… but these ghouls have no excuse.

  • independentjones

Yeah, I’m gonna have to go ahead and believe my lying eyes on this one, m’kay, Ken? But you keep trying, and thanks for playing!

  • Steve_J

I think the father could have asked his question, waited a bit, and moved on and nobody would have said anything. However, he asked his question and when people remained silent he said “see nobody can”. It was at that point a few people called out 2nd Amendment shall not be infringed.

  • CatHerder

We need a ‘Take A Liberal To The Range Day’. Seriously, I think a little de-mystification is in order here. They keep ranting about the ‘gun culture’ and I think the most of them have either never or seldom been exposed to the reality of gun ownership/usage. I am neither a nut nor a pro, but I would willingly donate my time and such expertise as I own to help calm their fears and end the hysterics.

  • Jim Denney

Will this intrepid “journalist” publish the names and addresses of all those “hecklers” in the hearing room for speaking out without a permit?

They must be silenced, after all, it’s for the children.

  • Just Me

How do these people keep their stories straight? My own life is so busy that if I went about lying every time I opened my mouth, I wouldn’t be able to keep up. Do these odd characters live in a different reality, and do they never have trouble remembering their own lies?

The father stated on Piers Moron”s program that he didn’t think he was heckled.

As long as the story is set, the truth is irrelevant.

It WAS heckling. They are partly responsible for the man’s loss.

When you take your head out of the sand, tell us how it feels.

    • Bumr50

You’re partly responsible for it as well for not acting sooner on your belief that guns kill people and therefore should be outlawed.

      Shame on you!

      How could you allow this?!?

You should’ve been on a hunger strike in front of the White House years ago demanding that all citizens be disarmed, and this never would have happened!

      Is that what you think?

    • Verreck

I agree that it was heckling. Now, if they answered the man on why they needed an assault weapon like the ar-15, what they used it for, then they would be answering his question.
He asked why they need the weapons and these clowns stood up and said…”Because we can.”

    • bonnieblue2A

No. Go watch C-SPAN instead of MSNBC for the full testimony. Repeating lies won’t make them any more believable when the facts are clearly against your claims and the claims of those who continue to repeat the lies.

  • bonnieblue2A

The heckling hoax has been well exposed. Those who continue to repeat the lie prove themselves devoid of ethics and character. Imagine what would happen if people were held to the same level of responsibility in their freedom of speech via regulation/restrictions/criminal code as the left demands of the responsibility attached to the RKBA.

  • InformNow

Another asinine elitist reporter whose job can be done equally well by a Rhesus monkey, if you give the monkey a days worth of training. Well done Ken at ‘informing’ the people on what you believed happen versus reporting truthful facts!

It’s disturbing that we continue to use this demonic act as a socio/political handball. These families are dealing with a tragedy that will live with them forever. And the fact is we don’t have an answer that will help mend these broken hearts. Isn’t it time we stopped bandying this thing like a public witch hunt. There are answers of course, but we as a nation are simply not willing to deal with them at this point.

Newspaper industry is over. These “newsrooms” are like ghost towns nowadays, some of the most depressing places you will see.
