Literally” —  is that some kind of racial code word? Nah, of course not. Dems like Biden and Clyburn never stick their racist feet in their mouths.

On a related note, we wonder if Vice President Biden would call that a clean, articulate birthday wish.

I understand the Vice President will celebrate his birthday by having dinner with his family at Katie’s Restaurant.

For white people like me who grew up in the segregated South in the 60’s, the word “literally” is an onerous and offensive code word that evokes very specific racial connotations and overtones when used in reference to any comment made about a white person. I am shocked and deeply disturbed that Rep. Clyburn would be so thoughtless and hurtful to use it in his public or private speech. Utterly shocking.
