Police are saying a tweet might have prompted the fatal shooting of a former Chapel Hill, Texas standout.

Police said Ricky Neal Jr. was at Tyler’s Broadway Square Mall morning when he ran into a group of young men around 9:30 Saturday morning.
They were angry about a tweet Neal had sent to one of their girlfriends.

Mass helped Chapel Hill reach the state basketball tournament for the first time. He was also an all-district quarterback for the football team.
Chapel Hill basketball begins playoffs in a week. I'm guessing they'll be playing for more than just themselves. #RIPChrisMass
