Through all of the outrage and public disgust at the Chicago Teachers Union strike, one very prominent Chicago voice has been, for the most part, silent on the issue. Many believe it would be politically toxic for President Obama to touch the issue.

Things are getting worse as the strike enters its second week.

In all likelihood, we will continue to hear nothing from Obama on this matter.

Even Emanuel is going to file an injunction against the teachers. Meanwhile, Obama campaigns.

Looks like the fascist coward has a few more “present” votes left in him after all …. unbelievable!

  • Brett McMicken

why, is he going to be on qvc selling campaign souvenirs?

    • Brown Bear Mike

As America burns, AS THE WORLD BURNS, Obama is concentrating on the important stuff. His party with Beyonce and Jay-Z, going on Letterman and getting re-elected.

The rest of the world can go to hell as far as he’s concerned.

  • Mickey James

He’ll solve it at the end of October in time for his re-election.

    • Brett McMicken

that way they kids can get back to singing songs in praise of him instead of actually learning something

Actually, since Teacher Unions and Mayor Rahm are among his best friends, he is doing them a favor by staying silent. Any endorsement one way or another would be the kiss of death, given his track record.

In the big scheme of things, why in the world WOULD (OR SHOULD) HE? It is none of his damn business. He needs to focus like a laser on far more important and pressing issues like late night TV show appearances with Dave Bobblehead, deflect blame for his abysmal foreign policy decisions and how many different ways can think of to bilk his hard of thinking minions out of their government assistance money.

    Priorities man, priorities!!

Remember when Reagan fired all the air traffic controllers that went on strike? Now he was a true leader.

  • Owen007

Obama won’t get involved unless he can actually affect a positive change and get good publicity for it. That’s why he’s checked out on the economy, the embassy attacks and, well, everything else.
