Hey, GOP! Hugh Hewitt is waiting to take your calls on the brand new Obamacare replacement:
Hoping to find @SpeakerRyan @GOPLeader @RepKevinBrady @repgregwalden for show this morning. Roll-out needs communicators but none offered
— Hugh Hewitt (@hughhewitt) March 7, 2017
Crickets.
why does the GOP leadership have no one on top natl conservative morning show? https://t.co/eTwDb7rEOk

Is there a messenger in the House? https://t.co/kGCwFnYcZ0

It’s their bill and they won’t defend it this morning?
Maybe no one wants to take point? https://t.co/duR9CEp5o2

Not a good start, guys:
Republicans haven't actually explained bill to their own Members yet. Might want to do that first.

Branding happens fast which is why I am amazed no one out selling this AM. Or on w/ @JoeNBC. Astonishing really. When a book drops… https://t.co/9XNvRgr38y

Hugh noted that we’re already seeing the Left spinning what’s in the bill, which means the GOP needs to get in front of it … now:
@hughhewitt This is why they are scared to go on talk radio. pic.twitter.com/BYiSfhPn7E

That assessment of the substance isn't true, but stuff like that will fill the airwaves and online space unless countered https://t.co/nFlhRwTbGM

After Hugh’s public shaming of the GOP, he did get one taker:
So House Ways and Means Chair @RepKevinBrady will join me at 8:06 to discuss AHCA #SquekyWheelWorks #ReadTheBill
— Hugh Hewitt (@hughhewitt) March 7, 2017
But the messaging this morning “isn’t a great sign”:
The @HouseGOP bill looks pretty good –I always liked the negative income tax as well– but no one out selling it isn't a great sign
