A few hours ago, all 9 Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee asked Chairman Chuck Grassley to bring back Attorney General Jeff Sessions to answer more questions in person (and not in writing) on his meetings with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak…

…and shortly thereafter, Grassley shut that down:

In other news, Democratic Sen. Chris Coons accused the FBI of holding back transcripts of exchanges between Russian officials and Trump campaign officials:

ICYMI: @ChrisCoons says FBI has transcripts that could show Russian leaders colluding w/ Trump campaign https://t.co/77iSLy2HXy @MSNBC #AMR
— Andrea Mitchell (@mitchellreports) March 3, 2017
Coons later responded to Mitchell’s tweet that he’s not saying the transcripts show anything illegal, but that they “could” and that the House and Senate Intelligence Committees need access to all the information:

"Could." We need to find or whether or not Trump campaign colluded with Russia. Intel Cmtes need access to all relevant transcripts/info. https://t.co/0Qdt9kWQbt

I urge the FBI Director to make sure that the counterintelligence investigation is completed and taken to its furthest conclusion (1/2)
— Senator Chris Coons (@ChrisCoons) March 3, 2017
Then, all the products of that investigation should be appropriately shared with the intelligence committees
