Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to Twitter Wednesday morning to thank President-elect Donald Trump for his tweets slamming the Obama administration and the U.N. over their treatment of Israel:
President-elect Trump, thank you for your warm friendship and your clear-cut support for Israel! ????@IvankaTrump @DonaldJTrumpJr https://t.co/lURPimG0wS

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump tweeted:
We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect. They used to have a great friend in the U.S., but…….

not anymore. The beginning of the end was the horrible Iran deal, and now this (U.N.)! Stay strong Israel, January 20th is fast approaching!

Members of the media, however, are questioning why Netanyahu included two of Trump’s kids — Ivanka and Donald Jr. — in his thank you tweet, suggesting it creates a potential conflict of interest:
Most notable part of this tweet is that he tags Donald Trump Jr., who is supposed to be operating the Trump Organization https://t.co/1MpHml9nXT

Thank goodness Hillary Clinton, whose family intertwined with her desire for public office creating conflicts of interest, won't be POTUS.. https://t.co/3pHL2I9uMs

I wonder why he's @-ing Trump's kids who have no part or influence in his presidency!!!! https://t.co/giTWZKcMVl

I know why Donald Jr. and Ivanka are CC'ed here, but… why are Donald Jr. and Ivanka CC'ed here? https://t.co/C2leWRFtpu

Or they’re just pissy over it:
We are now all reduced to spectacle of a smirking Israeli PM tweeting to the American President-elect & his children https://t.co/7cIENVNbil

Exit question: Why no thank you for Eric?
Eric must have major FOMO right about now https://t.co/kIKK1SXcrY
