Add Ari Fleischer, press secretary for President George W. Bush, to the pro-Trump pile:
There's a lot about Donald Trump that I don't like, but I'll vote for Trump over Hillary any day.
— Ari Fleischer (@AriFleischer) May 4, 2016
This support struck many as somewhat odd, you know … because of … THIS:
Trump said GW Bush deliberately lied the country to war in Iraq & was responsible for 9/11. https://t.co/xWsXJJIvuF

Trump has stated 9/11 was an inside job done by the Bush Administration you worked for. And you'll vote for him? https://t.co/fgGFGUE3iX

Others questioned why he was putting his party over principles:
Well, that's rather principle-free of you. https://t.co/aTFCq7CyxD

So in the equation of principles vs party, you choose party? https://t.co/py86bA4dqn

Not surprising. Since when did any of GWB's lieutenants have integrity or patriotism? https://t.co/qsL8xJlpZr

And liberals just had a little fun mocking the former Bushie:
By Friday he'll be calling him Mr Trump https://t.co/Brhs9Y5vAc
