Now that the exhausting 2012 presidential campaign is over, political junkies can move on to other things; like the 2016 election. Speculation has already begun and potential candidates have already starting jockeying for position. Today, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Jeb Bush all gave indications they are considering presidential runs in 2016.

What was the reaction? Well, it seems they’ve all got some work to do to win the hearts of Republican voters.

Wait a second while I put up my protective shield. Ok. I love Santorum. He was always my first choice. He endured one of the most disgusting smear campaigns ever and persevered, never sinking to the level of his enemies, but never backing away from a fight. He has the brains, the values and the experience, not to mention the energy and work ethic to be a great leader. He does have a huge PR problem, though. This is fixable.

Eh… respectfully disagree. Nothing against him as a person or a conservative voice; I just don’t think he can handle an all-encompassing national office. I can see him in a more specific and/or supporting role, just not as lead executive or even vice-prez.

Why do I get the feeling that Rove’s fingerprints are all over these revelations?

Give it a rest, guys. The liberal Democrat media has four years to tear you all brand new backsides. While destroying you, your families and friends in the court of public opinion.

Better to focus on the States, House and Senate for 2014. while Obama and socialist buddies run amok for a while.

The first item on my wish list is proportional elector allocation in PA. Let the Dem precinct bosses cheat all they want–it won’t get them the whole state.

The second item on my wish list is a MANDATORY 10-year sentence in state prison for knowingly voting in place of someone else. Screw Holder’s DOJ–we can do this in Harrisburg, and if the perpetrator is a judge of elections, make it a mandatory 25-year sentence. Get caught cheating and we’ll nail you to the proverbial cross.

Hey, good, lets have a re-do of the 2012 primaries. That’s a great #@#!ing idea. The egos on these unelectable guys is incredible. Newt, Rick and even Jeb have some good ideas but quite frankly, none of them will (or should) ever run for President.
