"It wasn't really her fault," part 12. https://t.co/gwuaosTbMx

As we told you a couple of days ago, pollster Nate Silver reiterated his belief that it’s “painfully obvious” FBI Director James Comey’s letter cost Hillary Clinton the election in November. Last night, Silver expanded on his claim by responding this way to critics of his belief that Comey cost Hillary the election:
Not complicated. Clinton was up by a lot. Comey letter hits. Treated as massive story. Suddenly she was up by not-a-lot. She loses narrowly.

A possible flaw was spotted in that line of reasoning:
"Clinton was up by a lot".
This is the problem with his assertion…there is little to no real proof she was ever up by a lot. https://t.co/M6RQwXyISf

Or Clinton was never up by a lot. https://t.co/UfMzu2Ok5j

Well there’s that simple possibility.
Circular reasoning because assumes the polls accurately reflected the electorate. https://t.co/n98DMHD19v

Naturally Hillary superfan Peter Daou concurs with Silver that Comey’s to blame (as well as “sexism” of course):
Funny how @NateSilver538 is being forced to dumb down the argument because culpable media figures categorically deny the obvious. https://t.co/ORjCET8TcR

The only person many Dems are not blaming for Hillary Clinton’s loss is Hillary Clinton.
