The executive orders signed by President Trump today include ending certain federal subsidies for cities that have agree to serve as a sanctuary for people in the country illegally, as well as an EO to construct/shore up the U.S./Mexico border wall.
As evidenced by the congressional Democrats below, right on cue, a hashtag was deployed:
I stand w @HispanicCaucus against today's executive orders–Congress should pass comprehensive immigration reform, not build a #WallofHate

Democrats stand by our opposition to the #WallOfHate. We will not bow to @realDonaldTrump’s radical xenophobia. https://t.co/jPDvap56h9 pic.twitter.com/iiSMoL3wPp

#WallOfHate spread like wildfire:
Instead of spending billions of $ in building a #WallOfHate @Potus should fix our crumbling infrastructure. @SenateDems have a plan…

Raiding immigrant communities & building a #WallOfHate – this isn’t who we are. We will #resist these xenophobic, anti-immigrant policies.

Immigration reform would create $700 billion in economic growth for our economy. A #WallofHate is bad economics. #NoBanNoWall
