The Obama administration has admitted that they should have sent a high level representative to the Paris rally last Sunday. This week, in a gesture that was called “too late,” John Kerry announced that he would pay France a visit.

Kerry has finally arrived in Paris:

Always love to be in #Paris, but this time esp moving. In past week, we've seen up close #France's strength and unity.

— John Kerry (@JohnKerry) January 16, 2015

Paid respects and honored the courageous victims of last week's senseless acts of terror at #CharlieHebdo & #HyperCacher

And he brought a friend:

After James Taylor. Juice and cookies were had by all as Secretary Kerry read stories on the magic carpet…then a nap.

#HowToMakeUpWithFriends Sing them a song "@CuffyMeh Well, this isn't pathetic. –> https://t.co/lnbDMSgJFT … …

— Colorado RedTraci (@goptraci) January 16, 2015

@CuffyMeh GP Should've brought Randy Newman to sing Toy Story's "You've Got a Friend in Me." More insulting, more effete.

— The Gormogons (@Gormogons) January 16, 2015

@mitchellreports @StevenTDennis @JohnKerry Jerry Lewis would better represent our foreign
policy.

Somebody in the Obama administration must have considered that preferable to a simple “sorry we didn’t show up.”

The U.S. should have James Taylor play after every terrorist atrocity

— Allahpundit (@allahpundit) January 16, 2015

Kerry should have sang with Taylor accompanying on guitar. SO POIGNANT.
