The feminist hashtag #YesAllWomen started on Saturday in response to the mass shooting at UC Santa Barbara, and it continued to trend into Sunday.

Now, a hashtag for both sexes, #YesAllPeople, is trending nationally:

A few examples from supporters of the hashtag:

Some of those who would like to keep the focus on #YesAllWomen are not thrilled about #YesAllPeople:

The ironic thing is, WOMEN are the ones who have everything dedicated to them:

Read over that 200+ list of FEDERAL level female only programs and laws we have in this county, most of which are dedicated to women in areas where they are already doing far better than men or boys.

      • FreedomRecon

These are unhappy people, period. They have warped true feminism into this rabid, self-loathing, step-on-you-to-make-myself-feel-better mentality. It’s disturbing and makes the rest of us “normal” chics look bad.

        • fools2234

Most women are not manhaters, which is why very few of them call themselves feminists today:

      • Angie

        I feel ya.
“Non-binary” has replaced the terms transgender/genderqueer in liberal fantasy land to mean someone who doesn’t identify as either male or female. You know, I try to be sensitive to other people’s preferences as to how they self-identify (black v. African American; gay v. homosexual, etc), but I’m not going to start referring to people as “non-binary” or “cisgender” or any of this other made up BULL CHIT. You are male or you are female regardless of who you sleep with or how you FEEL on the inside. For the love of all that is good & holy, the libs are always saying how anti-Science *we* are but they are the ones who don’t seem to grasp simple biology.

          Agreed! “Non-binary”….good grief.

    • Hey, That’s Pretty Good

That’s what liberalism is, broad assumptions of all based on the words or actions of one or a few, but then if their game is played against them, then they play victim.

Yes, God forbid we all be individuals.

    • rambler

  • FreedomRecon

Why can there be only one movement with some people? Why can’t all people express their feelings about violence towards their group, whether it be male, female, trans, gay, lesbian…whatever. All experience violence, rape, and molestation. To me it’s just more proof that these women don’t want equality.

Of course, there is NO attempt being made by grievance hoarders of the feminist persuasion to imply to women that those women are somehow inadequate for not recognizing the fact that they are being victimized, #YesAllWomen NOT being a vehicle for telling them that.

When the person who professes to be your champion and savior has to talk you into a state of indignation you might not otherwise have felt, you must ask yourself, “Am I really that incognizant of what’s going on, or am I being sold a bill of goods?” The feminist types would, of course, NEVER try to buffalo women into something the way the “patriarchal society” would, now would they? The week after college, my dad helped me pack my car to drive across country to my new job. He told me, “I’ve taught you how to work hard, grow and hunt your own food, rebuild an engine, protect yourself and pay your own way. I saw to it that you got the education you need to be the best and that will help you see to the rest. The only reason you’ll ever need a man is because he makes you happy. When you find him, make sure he knows that. You’ll do fine.” And away I drove….the best feminist message that I ever heard or needed and it’s gotten me pretty darn far!

It’s pathetic. Don’t these females understand that the only people hurting them are themselves??

I’m not talking about sexual assault and abuse, that absolutely happens and it happens to MOST women.

However, there does come a point when ANY human has to take control of their own destiny. Ask for help. Make a plan.

And men are abused as well. To dismiss it is just as bad as what they are accusing their “oppressors” of doing.

    • Alison Tieman

“I’m not talking about sexual assault and abuse, that absolutely happens and it happens to MOST women.”

It apparently also happens to MOST men.

38% of the victims of rape were men in the 2012 National Crime Victim Survey. (This study requires men to classify their victimization as rape and as a crime, both requirements lead to a reduction of admitted male victims relative to other survey instruments so this number is only a lower bound on the number of male victims of rape.)

43% of college men and high school youth report being sexually assaulted or raped. 95% by women.

51% of college men report being sexually assaulted or raped since the age of 16.

According to the CDC’s 12-month statistics on sexual violence(the most accurate statistic on prevalence, 50% of the victims of “forced sex” were male. According to the CDC’s lifetime statistics(the most accurate statistic regarding who is raping who) on who is perpetuating sexual violence, 80% of the men were raped by women.

Here’s a recent world wide survey that found that 3% of men reported forced sex in their heterosexual relationships and 2.3% of women reported forced sex in their heterosexual relationships.

Also recent results on sexual exploitation in correctional facility finds extremely high rates of female on male abuse.

“Approximately 95% of all youth reporting staff sexual misconduct said they had been victimized by female staff. In 2008, 42% of staff in state juvenile facilities were female.”

From “Sexual Victimization in Juvenile Facilities Reported by Youth, 2008-09″

“Most victims of staff sexual misconduct were males; most perpetrators were females. Among male victims of staff sexual misconduct, 69% of those in prison and 64% of those in jails reported sexual activity with

female staff. An additional 16% of prison inmates and 18% of jail

inmates reported sexual activity with both female and male staff.”

From “Sexual Victimization in Prisons and Jails Reported by Inmates, 2008-09″

Here’s something from a survey of homeless youths:

“Males were just as likely to be sexually exploited as females. Among younger street-involved youth (ages 12-18), a greater percentage of males were exploited (34% vs. 27% of females in 2006). Among older street-involved youth (ages 19-25), a higher percentage of females reported sexual exploitation (53% females vs. 32% males).”

“Although the majority of youth (70%) had been exploited by males, half of youth (50%) had also been exploited by females.”

From “It’s Not What You Think: Sexually Exploited Youth in British Columbia”

Two things that come to mind. One, all women are victims of sexual harassment? I mean, they acted like they know every single woman. I, thankfully, have never had this happen to me. Actually if I had any harassment in my life it was always uppity girls a la Mean Girls.

Two, aren’t liberals always yelling about there being different genders and gender is fluid? So wouldn’t #allthepeople actually include these many genders that somehow exist? Or did I miss something and only when it’s about women do other genders not exist? (Personally I’ve seen how you can be a white male and still have the world crap on you. Ask my very white brother who was looked as nothing more than a “junkie” so the police didn’t care about his death for proof of this… But that’s for another discussion.)

    • FreedomRecon

In their world, seriously, if a man comments on their appearance, it is sexual harassment. Men can’t even say, “Hey, you look nice today.” Or, “Nice dress,” without fear of at a very minimum, having to take a “sensitivity class”, or in the worst case scenario, losing their job.

      • umad80

Yeah, I see that on tumblr a lot. “If I’m being asked to smile, I’m being oppressed!” Seriously, the best laugh to have at these “girls” is to go on tumblr. I’m sure there is a girl right now who is truly being oppressed and wants to slap you upside the head.

A little off topic, but speaking of tumblr, I saw some post the tweets for #yesallwomen and one of them was, “Because I hate having someone say to me ‘call me to let me know you got home safe’ and I’m like… what? I’ve had people do that, men and women, because quite frankly a) dangerous world out there b) you could end up in an accident – they just want to know you got home safe! Like caring people! Freakin’ weirdos.

        • FreedomRecon

I have gotten to the point where I can’t even laugh at them anymore. Precisely for examples you listed. Why can’t they just say thank you to a compliment? Why can’t they be appreciative that someone actually gave a crap that they got home safely? They are offended at life in general. And most of society has become this way as well. People just need to get over themselves!

          • umad80

Oh, agree so much. I can’t tell you how tired and really terrified I am at these young girls today acting as if we “teach men not to rape” then problems will be solved. I watch enough Investigation Discovery to know that there are predators out there who have it in their system and not taught anything. And it’s not just men that are doing the predatory thing, it’s women too. Also, that taking a self-defense course is not some big joke on women because of rape. Any number of things can happen. And men shouldn’t lie back and think they are safe these days because they aren’t. It’s a crazy, messed up world out there and “teaching men not to rape” isn’t going to solve anything.

And I honestly just don’t understand them. I don’t come from a liberal family at all, but I was always taught from the beginning that just because I’m female doesn’t mean I can’t do anything. In fact, I wanted to take karate at the age of 8. I was NEVER told I couldn’t do it. As I got older, it was always the girls that were the problems I had. The guys always treated me the best. They never said sexist crap. It was the girls I knew that would say crap to me… To this day, I’ve always had nothing but polite young men and disgruntle women (not all, but a lot) in my life. If people would stop being so angry and stop trying to divide everyone, we’d be in better shape.

      • NRPax

Don’t forget the opposite: If they don’t comment on her appearance then she’s being harassed as well.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Feminists today are nothing more than attention whores. This whole exchange proves it.

  • Karma Wilson

I am “Karma Wilson quoted first in the tweet responses. I am not a “supporter” of the tag, but was in fact the first person to even pen it. I am a woman, a successful children’s book author, a person who just tweeted complaints about Rush Limbaugh, and also the need for diverse literature. I am not a man, a misogynist, and I am most certainly not ignorant, I am a supporter of gay marriage and drug legalization, and a mother of two sons and a daughter. This conversation was not “derailed” by men. I used this tag, and I had good, valid reasons for it IN MY OPINION. It has been claimed that anybody seriously using the tag should “jump in a hole”, “shut up”, not breed, etc… It was insinuated that I must be a “bigoty white dude” for even thinking such a thought. This tag is trending only because it’s UNPOPULAR, not because it’s a serious movement to disrupt this social media “YesAllWoman”.

Not to mention, many people that are seriously using the tag are transgender people, other women, and concerned parents. MY voice and theirs was silenced. I was told to go away and get back in my corner where I belong, and that wasn’t done by just men. I am sure many people will say, “Oh, but I didn’t know you were a woman.” Why should knowing the sex of the poster determine if you should be rude or not? Also, hashtags aren’t people. They aren’t intelligent thinking beings. If some misogynist, hateful prick did use a tag I penned to be a idiot in public, it doesn’t mean I share his thoughts.

  • Dennis M

Lol, male entitlement? When it was a woman in France who successfully sued her husband for not putting out enough in the marriage? When a writer on Slice feels perfectly comfortable admitting she “basically forced [her]self” on a guy because she wasn’t getting laid? When Amy Schumer can be lauded by hundreds of feminists for admitting to raping a guy (by their definition) because she had low self-esteem. Wendy Davis telling female audience members that its okay to engage in rape by fraud to have another child with your husband when he doesn’t want it?

An attitude of male sexual entitlement exists, but female sexual entitlement is mainstream and accepted.

I hear the Moon is nice this time of year. Maybe we should turn The Moon is a Harsh Mistress into a reality…

    • Gareth Mailer

      Too true.

Don’t forget when Sharon Osbourne applauded and laughed at the news a woman had cut a man’s penis off.

  • louisiana_mom

#yesallpeople. I want a world where my son has the same rights, privileges, and opportunities as my daughter.

    • Super Marsupial

Too bad, he’ll never have the same entitlement to victimhood as her. According to these masochistic trolls that is, dem youth loves its plantation

      • louisiana_mom

LOL! My daughter and victimhood in the same sentence? Now there is something I thought I’d never see! She don’t take crap off of no one…

  • Adam Johnson

    I’m a white male so….because shut up.

  • SmythRadio

    #YesAllPeople and #SmythRadio thank you.

  • James Perley

We know what that brand of feminists is after they defended Bill Clinton and some other Democrats guilty of being sexual predators. Their price varies.

  • PeterP

Yay! Finally the left has won – we are ALL victims!

  • PeterP

Perhaps this man Rodger’s actions are the inevitable (albeit, insane) reaction to a two decade long war on men?

  • Sherry M ✓ᵀʰᵉ ˢᑫᵘᵉᵃᵏ

I literally feel dumber for having read all of those, if they want to show true outrage speak out about what is going on in the muslim world.

    • oxco

felt the same way, all I could think of the absolute disgusting violence against women and children everyday in Islam. Instead the feminist bitch about themselves…….

  • garygramscom

A couple of teenagers having a “FaceBook war” seems more mature than this…

  • Mr. Saturn

Considering up until I started actually reading more about this I thought all 6 people killed were women, rather than 4 men and 2 women, I don’t think it is unfair to mourn the 4 murdered men as well.

    • irishgirl91

And three of the six were killed with a knife.

      • Mr. Saturn

Do we know the racial and/or sexuality make up of the other victims. Might as well hit all the various things like that.

  • irishgirl91

Non-binary? Androcentric? Inferiorized? Words used by the butt hurt promoting profs to teach women how to see themselves as victims the rest of their lives. I pity the boys raised by these women. Unless they let their hearts open to their sons and notice how the western world is attacking our boys for their maleness. We seem to think we can’t teach boys to view women as equal partners without teaching them how inferior they are to girls. We can’t teach boys that girls have the right to dress any way they want without fear of rape without teaching them that all men are predators and the very appreciation of a female is violence.

  • Perry

Didn’t this guy kill some males too? Typical divisive lefties.

    • Ruth

I guess they wouldn’t have sex with him either.

      • Perry

Should have gotten his Hollywood director dad to hook him up with some Hollywood pervs.

        • Ruth

That was a joke. The narrative was he killed 6 girls with a gun because girls were rejecting him. Therefore it was his male pride that made him kill them. Of course we know none if it’s true but when did truth matter?

Edit: Make that stupid, misogynistic male pride :)

          • Perry

It’s kinda like qualifying murder as a “hate crime”. Murder is murder. Those people trying to make political hay out of this should be ashamed. But, they won’t be.

          • Guest

It’s always a political agenda when people like you don’t agree with it.

  • kristy624

Just wondering how these #yesallwomen are much different from the murderer in their views? They both hate the opposite sex, they publicly state their hatred, and they believe their lives are all messed because of the way the opposite sex treats them.

  • agentm0m

Do these nutty feminists remember that the first three victims of the Santa Barbara killer were three MALES? I guess they don’t count.

    • lazypadawan

Plus the guy he shot at the deli/convenience store.

    • Michelle ✓classified

Four men were killed. But that fact doesn’t help the agenda.

  • jdog

  • CaptDMO

    YAW ?
    Yes All Women NOW!

  • crankywhitewoman

I work in the court system, and I can tell you all that more than just a few women are arrested and in bail court in my courthouse for domestic violence against their husbands/boyfriends EVERY WEEK. So if their male victims got together and created #YesAllMen, would they be bashed for it? Sure, but only by liberals, no doubt.

  • Misanthrope

It is good that feminists lead such bitter, empty lives.

  • Ed McDowell

The whole meme is stooopid …..but that’s what I said about political correctness about 25 years ago and now look at us.

  • JD Son

I applaud those that spoke up for YesAllPeople versus the other option..they are more open minded than the others…Men get discriminated on a lot.

    • Guest

YesAllWomen isn’t ABOUT men, nor is it attacking men. It’s about the experiences of women.
Hijacking it to involve men derails the actual purpose of the original conversation.

      • Shubi

Boo-friggin’-hoo, precious. Now go back to sobbing in your pillow.

  • Will

Only Inferior people can be inferiorized. And seriously only an inferior person would even make that word up…..

    • Guest

      • Shubi

So, in other words, you admit to being an inferior person? Got it.

  • Will

The Only reason Females were GIVEN the Right to Vote by Men was because there were More White Females than Black People in America at the time. Black Men had screwed up the Democrats power and they need a way to Void out the Black Mans Vote.

    They Targeted Woman.

    Americas TRUE Dirty Secret.

It is why in the Black Community the Woman are GIVEN everything and the Men are Killed and Jailed or at the Command of the Female. (Think about all the Extra Money they get for No Man around………….)
75% of Black Men is Jail are there because of a Black Woman.

  • zj sky

The killer in CA murdered 6 people – 4 men and two women. So yes, we will use #yesallpeople

  • Marcus Anderson-Smythe

So, according to feminists, by challenging the “YesAllWomen” hashtag that is exclusive to women, making the issues exclusive to women when statistics indicate otherwise, by making it “YesAllPeople” to represent men equally to women on the hashtag, men are trying to make it all about men.

Men and women: Make a hashtag that involves everyone = Sexist and male entitlement.
Feminists: Make a hashtag excluding everyone but women = Equality, totally not female entitlement.

H…How? I am legitimately asking how some people can be so stupid as to say challenging something that is exclusive to female on a subject where they are not the only victims, to something that involves everyone, not just their own group, is somehow sexist?
HOW!? How can people be this stupid? So when people involve everyone in an issue, it is sexism and wrong, but when people exclude it to female only, it is equality?

…And this is the group making a class called “feminist biology”…The people that hold these types of views are TEACHING people!?!

I’m so done…You feminists. You. Are. Imbeciles!

  • Trent Simon

So… Their grievance is that attention is being taken from them… While they simultaneously take attention away from people who were murdered. Am I getting this right?

  • Talby

Feminism: because all genders are equal, but some genders are more equal than others.

  • tommcgtx

  • The Savage Hombre

I’ve found this to be a useful beacon in the ever-shifting fog of illusions conjured up by today’s liberals and progressives:

  • Shubi

Female feminists are so unintentionally funny; but you know who is really FREAKING HILARIOUS? MALE feminists! Those bi***es are absolute comic gold! More! More!
