The standoff near Cliven Bundy’s ranch ended peacefully a few days ago, but that didn’t stop Harry Reid from giving those who showed up in support of the Nevada rancher a rather harsh label, as Jon Ralston of Ralston Reports tweeted:

The Las Vegas Review-Journal also reported the quote:

“They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists,” Reid said during an appearance at a Las Vegas Review-Journal “Hashtags & Headlines” event at the Paris. “I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism.”

You can always count on Harry Reid to help calm things down.

Reid’s use of the term “domestic terrorists” was taken to task:

https://twitter.com/Carlos_Danger_/status/456878468588773376

There was also agreement with Reid during his rare brief break from repeating the words “Koch brothers” over and over:

After his “domestic terrorists” accusation, Reid moved on to his main obsession of late, which is a delusional preoccupation with the Koch brothers:

Naturally.

By that definition Harry is the kim jong un of our country. No one else is allowed to have an opinion.

    • conservativechick

This administration has no problem calling hard working, American citizens TERRORISTS. They’ve done it before, Tea Party, Republicans, individuals who donate to conservative causes, returning vets, groups considered a militia, anyone who opposes them and their agenda in anyway. Yet they just can’t bring themselves to call actual TERRORISTS that, like Nadal Hassan, still classified as a work place stress incident. So insulting!

      • Doobee

Obama himself once referred to conservatives as “our enemies.” Mind you, he was referring to fellow Americans.

  • Mead

The more serious problem with this is all the “extraordinary rendition” crap in place that allows the .gov to detain “terrorists” as long as they meet certain criteria.

And it sounds like they’re beginning the definition phase.

          1/ Understood.

          2/ Yes. That is true.

3/ And the sitting Senator is speaking in what “appears” to be “seditionist words/speak” to We The People, by which he can possibly be arrested for causing riots, etc. Even though we have the 1st Amendment, he as being in the position of a sitting Senator prevents him from doing so, as it is an act of treason, of the people, by the people and their government by using this speak.

Unfortunately, it’s not just Harry Reid. It’s the entire Obama administration. They’ve been trying to declare their political opponents “terrorists” from year one of his presidency.

Janet Napolitano and DHS took Muslims off the terror list and replaced them with soldiers returning from the Middle East. There was a story on DrudgeReport.com yesterday of the FBI going after gun shop owners who sold guns to people who believed in the sovereignty of the United States.

To the extent that the word “terrorism” has any meaning aside from “somebody who opposes me,” it connotes the indiscriminate use of force and violence against civilian populations. What the Bundy Ranch people were doing– to the extent that it wasn’t (as Glenn Beck suspects some in attendance were) just plain knuckleheads looking to goad the Feds into using violence (if not actually provocateurs)– is the same thing Mohandas K. Gandhi called “civil resistance.” It’s looking the Government dead in the eye and saying, “No.”

Of course, Harry Reid, noted pederast, is not used to hearing the word “no,” and as such, he flies off the handle and engages in vitriol and vituperation anytime someone has the temerity to tell him that word. After the General Election of 2014, he’s gonna hear it a lot more, I can guaran-damn-tee him, so he’d better get used to it…

No, it hasn’t. The media and leftists have tried hard to do so, but documentation on the BLM’s web site said otherwise before it was scrubbed.

You can read about it and the document I provided below for WhoDat’s education.

        • Republicanvet

For you and WhoDat and any other leftist thinking Hairy Roid is as clean as the wind driven snow, another excerpt from the link I provided:

An article published by The New American in September 2012 noted that Rory Reid, the eldest son of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), is the chief representative for ENN Energy Group, a Chinese firm planning to build a $5-billion solar plant on public land in Laughlin, Nevada.

The plan generated a great deal of controversy because Clark County officials voted to sell ENN the public land for $4.5 million, a figure far below its $38.6-million appraised value.

It is important to recognize that the land on which Bundy grazes his cattle is not the same land that ENN sought near Laughlin, which is over 200 miles away. However, the Bundy grazing land is within the BLM’s Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone, an area the BLM and DOW also want to use for “utility-scale solar energy development,” whether constructed by ENN or someone else.

      • WhoDat

The land Bundy is using is federal land.

And if you’re talking about the supposed thing where Rory Reid wants the Bundy land for some solar power thing, I believe you need to read up on that debunked story.

        • PatriotRG

So he broke the law …out of love…

        • Republicanvet

It is federal land, but they are clearly infringing on his grazing and water rights which he has used for 140 years.

What you also fail to realize is that the BLM had documentation on their web site where Reid was involved in securing land for a deal within a federal solar energy zone…which included Bundy’s land, and the document stated grazing cattle would impact any solar installation. The document was scrubbed from BLM’s site, but not before others already had it.

You can read more on that here:

          http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/item/18045-questions-raised-about-sen-reid-s-connection-to-bundy-ranch-dispute

This isn’t a new thing. You can also read here:

          http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/15602-federal-judge-rules-for-property-rights-smacks-down-abusive-feds

where the feds, using arbitrary and abusive tactics, tried for years to force another rancher off his land. He eventually won in court, and the judge was so mad at two federal managers, one a BLM field manager and the other a ranger that he referred them to the DOJ for prosecution.

The BLM manager was essentially fired by the judge from working in his BLM district because he could no longer be trusted. I looked it up last night, and his position is shown now as vacant.

Before you raving leftists start dancing over another private property owner being wrong, you should read up on the details.

          • Michelle Dekkers

Yeah, I know it’s a “librul” source, but what the heck.

            Ranch Stash

Claim: Senator Harry Reid and a Chinese company building a solar plant are behind a standoff between federal agents and a Nevada rancher.

            FALSE

Examples: [Collected via Facebook, April 2014]

Site are reporting that Harry Reid is in cahoots with ENN a Chinese firm for which his son works to take over the range area in dispute with that Nevada rancher and the Bureau of Land Management. Is there any truth here?

The Bundy Ranch in NV standoff with BLM is being attributed to Harry Reid’s desire to help his son secure rights for a Chinese company to build a solar energy farm in the Nevada desert.

It’s making it’s rounds on Facebook and, of course, the internet.

            Read more at http://www.snopes.com/politics/conspiracy/nevada.asp#cXJ0Ry21XogBBScd.99

          • Republicanvet

Since snopes have become another arm of the left, they too like to leave out inconvenient facts.

Hairy Roid’s Chinese deal may not have included the Bundy ranch at this time, but the federal energy zone being created out there certainly did.

An excerpt from the link you failed to read (choosing snopes instead):

A PDF of the BLM’s document, “Regional Mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar energy Zone: Technical Note 444,” produced by the BLM in March, can be found online.

Technical Note 444 states that the “’Regional Mitigation Strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone’ recommends a strategy for compensating for certain unavoidable impacts that are expected from the development of the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone (SEZ) in southern Nevada.”

Technical Note 444 states: “The resource values found in the Gold Butte ACEC are threatened by: unauthorized activities, including off-road vehicle use, illegal dumping, and trespass livestock grazing; wildfire; and weed infestation.” (Emphasis added.)

The above-referenced BLM “Technical Note 444” specifically mentions the Gold Butte Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) 76 times. While the document expresses many environmental concerns, including “trespass livestock grazing,” it is important to keep in mind that the title of the document reveals the BLM’s ultimate objective, which is to create a “solar energy zone.”

          • WhoDat

Well, in this Bundy case, the courts have ruled he was in the wrong. He has defied court orders because he doesn’t recognize the feds as legit.

The feds are the owners of the land, they should be able to change the rules whenever they want.

I should use the tactics of Bundy next time my landlord goes up on the rent.

          • Republicanvet

Clearly you ignored the links I provided where a judge referred for prosecution two federal managers for thinking they could arbitrarily change the rules.

          • Stephen L. Hall #NonquamTrump

The proper way to enforce a court order is to file a lein, or turn the court judgment over to the Sheriff, not for one party, even a government agency, to take the law into their own hands. Every government agency is not granted confiscatory authority, and I seriously doubt that the law empowers the BLM to do so.

          • PatriotRG

He is breaking the law that’s not in debate. Whats in debate is how the feds dealt with it. Do you think he would be treated that way if he was mmm Mexican or Black ? Truly ?

          • Stephen L. Hall #NonquamTrump

Well, I think his contention is that the law change invades his property rights. “No . . . ex post facto Law shall be passed.” Section 9, Article I, US Constitution. If the law invades his property rights, then it is an ex post facto Law, thus unconstitutional.

          • WhoDat

If he never owned the property, how does he have any rights to the land except what the feds allowed him to have?

          • Republicanvet

          • WhoDat

They probably could have seized his financial assets, but Bundy seems like the sort of guy where everything is cash in hand with no banks involved.

          • Corey Dennison

but Bundy seems like the sort of guy where everything is cash in hand with no banks involved.

Making up your own facts now?

          • PatriotRG

and do you think he chews tobacco – has trouble with cursive and is retarded ?

          • Stephen L. Hall #NonquamTrump

Also, you can not change the rules if a person has a property interest, such as grazing rights. That is not a mere rule, that is an ownership of property. That does not mean that the feds may not have some grounds.

          • carmenta

‘the feds are the owners of the land, they should be able to change the rules whenever they want’ – the irony! You slay me Who, really…as long as your idols are the ‘feds’ and its a proggy agenda, you’re just fine with it. I shall remind you of this when the whining starts after the elections!

          • Michael Ruda

            The federal government owns nothing……..

First Amendment Zones are overt the top

    • ToyZebra

      It worked for George Washington.

    • Evil Otto

Yeah, “terrorism” is quite over the top in this case.

How generous of you. So a United States Senator labeling hundreds of United States citizens who have injured or killed no one (and remember, he’s talking about Bundy’s supporters, not just the Bundys) as “terrorists” is “over the top?”

Yeah, I think we’re a bit beyond “over the top” there, drone.

Showing up with your weapons and believing you can take on the feds is over the top.

Because the feds are all powerful. Or something.

  • Iseenothing

question, why do the feds own less than 1% of the eastern states and 50% or more of the western states?

    • Stephen L. Hall #NonquamTrump

      Government owning all the land . . . what does that sound like . . . a feudal state, perhaps . . . a place where a man can be a king . . . in a much more literal sense.

    • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

It was the price of admission to the Union.

      • Maryland_Malcontent

Nevada really ought to hash out better terms, since they were admitted illegally by Lincoln and have been beholden to the feds ever since. Time to shirk that yolk.

  • j p✓ʳᵉᶠʳᶦᵉᵈ

    He sickens me.

  • gekkobear

    Dissent is… patriotism?

No, sorry; a Democrat is in the White House, dissent is TERRORISM!.

Once a Republican is President again, then dissent will be a good thing.

  • AT

Exactly how does Harry Reid define himself in all this?

Patriot? American? Is that how we define an elected official trying to bully and demonize his own constituents?

    • Republicanvet

…on behalf of the Chinese no less.

  • walwus

Meh, if he really thought they were domestic terrorists then the govt wouldn’t have backed down – they would have swarmed in with military troops.

  • Saito Sama

Harry get it straight they are domestic racist NRA terrorists and card carrying members of the he-man woman haters club of America
And the cows? Don’t let me start with the Racist mooing bovines of the west

    • PatriotRG

only the white cows are racist presumably ?

      • Casca

They all give white milk , so yeah, they are all racists..

        • PatriotRG

if i drink milk and i am also white does that mean i should be on double secret probation ?

  • PatriotRG

plain fact is – the left is scared of armed people who are not of the left – so be scared

  • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

Hey, Dingy do something about fixing the Putin taking over Ukraine. Those people are being terrorized, and stop running your mouth at We The People and do your friggin’ job, remember there is a Memorandum that says it’s YOURS and BARRY’s job to do, in Ukraine…hmm, Dingy.

    Edit: P.S.
BTW, Dingy we are about to stock up again on Koch Brother products, and they are the Greatest Products, too, along with their Wounded Warrior Project too!

    Things Harry is known for:
    1) hubris
    2) hyperbole
    3) and the slander employed by prepubescent girls.

  • Spinmamma

Reid is just voicing what the Department of Homeland Security labels rural white America, army vets, people who believe in individual rights, and bible belt Christians. I no longer recognize my country.

  • AZWarrior

Harry, real terrorists would have drawn their weapons and shot that “ranger” who pulled and used a Tazer on that Bundy supporter, or the fascist who put his knee on the neck of a woman. Terrorists don’t show that kind of restraint. You should stop talking now so tempers can cool. Unless of course you are trying to start the killing, which makes YOU the domestic terrorist.

  • Beentheremovedaway

Maybe I missed it, but did anyone on the Bundy’s side wear a mask? You know like OWS and other REAL domestic terrorists! All the images I saw seemed to me that these were actually Americans asking for redress on a lousy deal! How many on the LEO side wore masks to hide from the American people?

  • Hotlanta Mike
  • no_more_deceit

What happens in Harry’s head should stay in Harry’s head. There is more wasted space in there than all the desert land in Nevada.

    • carmenta

and a herd of cattle could stampede right through all that wide open space and he’d never notice!

      • no_more_deceit

I think it happens on a regular basis considering all he ever spews is all bull$hit.

  • Tim jones

    Harry is scared shitless.

    • mickeyco

He’s going to have a rough time justifying this episode.

  • neoface

I think that shithead is domestic terrorist and a demented liar. I’m certain he has done enough underhanded deals to go to jail for. Term limits are so important to prevent more of his kind, to think they are above the law.

  • neoface

I think that retard is a domestic terrorist and demented liar. I’m certain he has done enough underhanded deals to go to jail for. Term limits are so important to prevent more of his kind, to think they are above the law.

    • Casca

      Obama ? Reid ? Clinton ?

  • Patches O’Houlihan

So, just to clarify – Harry is all about strict observance of the law… unless you’re an illegal alien, in which case Harry believes you should be given amnesty for your crimes and granted citizenship…

So laws only apply to American Citizens and people who disagree with little Harry Reid?

  • KC

This Bill Ayres moment brought to you by Democrat Hairy Reid.

  • GaryTheBrave

It’s just workplace violence. (If someone else has this I apologize. I don’t feel like reading all 130+ comments.)

  • Exodus2011

poor ole Dingy Harry doesn’t like the RESISTANCE to his POWER ABUSE

Stay alert Patriot Posse! You may have to ride again … you may be needed to play Cowboys and Corruptocrats AGAIN …

  • ToyZebra

Give it up Harry and find some other hunk of desert for your deal with the chinese. Maybe one of the spots where they tested atomic bombs.

  • HomeyTheClown

Harry wants his Chinese money and none of you peasants are going to stand in his way…………..

  • Susan Charlene

Reid needs to calm the rhetoric down now. Can a family member or friend please advise him to do so? Today Obama threw the ACA in everyone’s face who doesn’t agree with him that this is the appropriate solution.

We desperately need a leader to step up now.

  • Michael Ruda

If the people who stood with Cliven Bundy are domestic terrorists then they should all be professors at American Universities and get paid speaking engagements (ala Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dorn……….)

  • neoface

Todd a conservative on “facebook” hit the nail on the head, Bundy should have told Reid that these cows were illegals from Mexico, they are here for greener pastures, and of course they are here for the love of other illegal cows(paraphrasing). But the liberal bloggers made the facebook take down the post. That was actually really funny.

  • Frustrated Teacher

But a Muslim who walks into an army center and kills a bunch of people in the name of Alllah is NOT a terrorist. Harry is crazy!

    • studi30

No Teacher, remember Obozo proclaimed that “work place violence”.

      • Frustrated Teacher

        That’s what I meant….NOT a terrorist…but just a ‘disgruntled worker’.

  • seemorejustice

Founding Fathers were labeled “Domestic Terrorists” so I guess the Bundy supporters are in good company against the Tyranny of Reid’s government!

  • studi30

Hiyo Silver and away. The lost stranger rides again. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, Faster than a speeding bullet. Dingy Harry riddle me this.

  • Mike Gable

Actually the BLM are the domestic terrorists in this instance and Reid is just an ugly, vile toad.

  • Dan13

Of course, Harry, Bundy doesn’t recognize the United States after you hoped and changed it.

  • conservativechick

The government aggressors were the only “terrorists” at that ranch!
Amendment II Constitution of the United States of America
‘A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free *State*, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.’

  • MunDane68

The reason Harry hates the Bundy ranch is he has competition for the top producer of bullsh*t in Nevada.

Also: Nidal Hassan not a terrorist; Cliven Bundy a terrorist. How does that work again?

  • sb36695

    Funny coming from a traitor.

  • sigh

Say it to their faces cowards.

  • joewest666

Don’t forget the original “domestic terrorists”

    George,

    Ben,
    Thomas……

Looks like this bunch is in good company.

Against the Crown and against Crooks like Harry.

  • Doobee

Harry Reid: you actually made many Americans wonder if you haven’t lost your mind and/or reverted to your childhood: name-calling? childish temper tantrums? The government could have opted to get a lien on all of Bundy’s property and taken every last dime he had. Instead, it chose to send the goon squad. You’ve been rope-a-doped, Harry, and you’re behaving like the biggest fool of all, your boss–the gay, racist President who, only yesterday, went ballistic on the thoroughly moribund Republican Party. Harry stirred the hate just when it looked like the whole mess was going to go away, Harry and Zero choose to continue the hate rants. Congrats, Harry, you frickin’ neo-nate.

  • Doobee

Of course I think Bundy should have paid the grazing fees. But I also think that Harry Reid has just announced that his fellow Americans are traitors. I remember when the lefties were saying the highest form of patriotism was dissent. Harry Reid is a cheerleader for the government goon squads who were rope-a-doped into making fools of themselves.

  • iconoclast

Yet Occupy Wall Street (and other cities) that produced rapes, murders, and planned violence were not domestic terrorists to filthy Harry and his cronies. Could it be because none of them threatened Harry’s cash flow?

Real domestic terrorists are good friends of the Obama’s. Yet people standing up to an over-armed and eager collection of thugs are domestic terrorists to Harry Reid and Democrats.

  • bobjo1972

It wont be long now. They have been telegraphing this for years, it’s the natural progression of power. All opposition to the “progressives” will be demonized and eliminated.

Those of us who have have predicted this very thing have been called crazy for years.

Get ready, the real crazies are coming. Ignore the naysayers, they want to deceive you.
