The science is settled as far as Mark Ruffalo is concerned. The “Avengers” actor has joined the list of global warmists who refuse to let Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda go to waste while real human tragedy unfolds.

It’s hard to argue that satellite technology in weather forecasting has saved countless lives because storms no longer catch people off guard (storms that even somehow occurred before the industrial revolution). The rockets that put those satellites into orbit are not powered by solar panels and batteries, nor do the planes and vehicles that carry rescue crews and much needed supplies to the scene, sometimes from halfway around the world, run on algae and vegetable oil. Fossil fuels also are crucial when it comes to transporting actors to location shoots and for other film industry uses. The list goes on.

The lesson: Be careful what you ask for.

Honestly, I think idiots like Mark Ruffalo are enemy #1 to mankind.

I think these Hollyweird types should just do movies & keep their political opinions to themselves & JUST SHUT THE F**K UP !!!! REAL SCIENTIST ( scientist NOT on the government dole) say the Sun & the processes it goes thru are the reason for our climate change here on Earth, NOT HUMANS OR FOSSIL FUELS !!! It sounds to me like Ruffalo needs to study the science before he opens his Hollyweird mouth !!!

You want to see a FLEEBAGGING [email protected] head explode who believe that climate change is caused by HUMANS, just ask one why is it then we had a global warming event 11,000 years ago or how about the LITTLE ICE AGE of the late 1600’s to early 1700’s & all the fluctuations in between !! In the grand scheme of things humans are INSIGNIFICANT in the climate change equation !! Did Ruffalo forget about how government scientist on the governement dole were caught fudging numbers & data to fit the FLEEBAGGER HUMAN caused climate change BS thru E-mails, of course he has forgotten that little fact, thats the FLEEBAGGER way !!

All HUMAN caused climate change is for the FLEEBAGGERS is a money maker off WE THE PEOPLE’s tax dollars, you all still see how our gas prices are still almost double what they were when President BOBO took office !! Now it is true that the stock market controls the price of gas but the reason the stock market is keeping the gas prices artificially high is because of BOBO’s fossil fuel policies kiIIing the industry & in turn stock market keeps the prices artificially high !! It all comes back to this RAClST MUSLlM FLEEBAGGER in office & all his FAILURES & DEBACLES he has created causing the high cost for fossil fuels !!! BOBO won’t be happy until gas hits the 5.00 dollar mark, on that you can bet !!!

      • ToddF

Your trivia of the day, address to all of us that have referred to our fearless President as bobo or O’bobo.

          • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

Funny thing about that, David. Seems scientists keep finding there is no real correlation between fossil fuels and the strength and frequency of storms. But we keep hearing how they’re linked at the hip from people who either a) have an agenda, or b) believe the people in group A without researching it.

      • Corey Dennison

  • Maxx

    An Incredible Hulk of Crap.

I guess he thinks the rockets that sent those life-saving satellites into outer space were powered by granola and hope.

For those interested in the truth, might I suggest:

Apparently, it was not the strongest storm ever. At least when it arrived.

“The Philippine weather agency measured winds on the eastern edge of the country at about 150 m.p.h., he said, with some tracking stations recording speeds as low as 100 m.p.h.

The United States Navy’s Joint Typhoon Warning Center used satellite analysis to estimate sustained winds at 195 m.p.h., with gusts up to 235 m.p.h., but that measured the center of the storm when it was over the ocean.”

Turns out while Yolanda (Haiyan) was definitely strong, it made landfall as a category 4 with an 18-foot storm surge, not the 40-foot Anderson Cooper was spewing. Still, a moot point for those devastated. This is just musings for the global warming nannies.
