Well, at least somebody from MSNBC isn’t just blaming the horrific level of violence in Chicago only on guns.

MSNBC host Touré tweeted about the severely high black unemployment rate in some of America’s large cities:

The black unemployment rate is in fact consistently higher. What’s the reason? Slavery, partly, according to Touré:

The Dems have owned some of the cities with the highest black unemployment for decades. It seems the only “solutions” proposed that are accepted by the Left are to do more of what not only hasn’t fixed the problem, but worsened it in many areas.

  • freeinaz

It must be one of those weird coincidences…

    • Maury

Truly odd. The highest level of empowerment ever enjoyed yet the most dire of circumstances.

No one listens to Toure the RAClST anyway, wait until he has to look for another job, when Zimmerman wins his lawsuit against NBC & we get to watch MNC & MSNBC go off the air since they both work off the same money & are sister stations !!!! It is in some of the minorities DNA that they act the thug, these thug minorities are 2 @pes back on the Evolutionary Chart & act like NEANDERTHALS !!!!!!! Whites are 18 times more the crime victims at the hands of minorities, there are a lot of violent minorities who need to be called on it & the truth needs to be spoken !!!!!!

Heres a short list you won’t hear about on the LAME STREAM MEDIA, mom home alone with her 2 very young kids, [email protected] severely by a bIack man, 3 bIack teens [email protected] white teen on school bus & break his arm because he turned them in for trying to force him to buy drugs, mom in front of her house with her baby, 2 bIack teens sh00t the baby in the face & kiIIed him, a young couple car jacked & both [email protected] & tortured & cut up by bIacks, I will say we have a REAL problem will a lot of minorities out there that needs to be dealt with, NOW !!!!!!!!!

        • 5280crazy

By the way fool how did you hear about the atrocities you related? I heard about them on countless news feeds, not just conservative sites.

Seriously dude, dial it back…or are you *REALLY* stating that folks like Alan West, Mia Love, Ben Carson, Stacy Dash, Larry Elder and Thomas Sowell, among others, are “thugs,” “apes” and “neanderthals”?

So those hundreds and thousands of years of Germanic and Anglo peoples being invaded and slaughtered by raiders from Russia and Rome and Turks means that they had to overcome so much to get where they are now. Oh wait thats dumb and toure is dumb.

  • Voice of reason

the question begging to be answered is why is Chicago as jobless as it is? Answer:
Chicago politics, abundant corruption, liberal leadership.

  • Republicanvet

Oy this guy is ignorant. Hey Turde, slavery ended well over 100 years ago. Why has black unemployment gotten to the level it has only in the past 5 years? Could it have anything to do with the occupant of the WhiteHut?

    • http://mpj.co WhoDat

“slavery ended well over 100 years ago”

Not according to Sheila Jackson-Lee, who must now be 150 or something.

Not to mention racist, I’m sure.

  • http://www.common2cents.org/ Soulphoenix

So what explains Toure’s rabidly racist, delusional thought process? Does he never eat any vegetables? Are his pants way too tight? Is he sitting on his brain? This is more puzzling than alien crop circles. Heck, maybe those are part of his problem, too.

  • FreedomFighter

Every time Toure opens his mouth, stupid comes out.

    • Meech204

And we all know that you can’t fix stupid.

      • TexasMom2012

      Stupid, at the very least.

      • therantinggeek

Crying shame I still haven’t figured out how to convert stupidity into a renewable energy resource, then patent the process. Just imagine how much energy Touré alone could produce…

  • http://mpj.co WhoDat

Mr. Neblett is quite the loon.

  • Spasmolytic

That excuse has grown stale. Slavery ended over a 150 years ago, its time to move on.

    • Republicanvet

Oh but something happening a long time ago, whether it is minutes, months or years is only an appropriate excuse for the left. If it is anything that can blame others for, even 150 years ago, they will think of it like yesterday.

      • trixiewoobeans

But Benghazi “was a long time ago,” and “let’s move on” from 9/11.

  • Matthew Koch

Let’s five it. Unless blacks take responsibility for their own lives and stop waiting for the government to lift them up, they will continue to be second class citizens in this country.

It’s the exact same dynamic that was in place during the times of slavery. Many Slaves thought owners were so wonderful because they ate up the lies about how the owners cared so much about them and wanted to help them because they couldn’t last in their own.

What do the Democrats tell blacks today. Run off a list of things that prevent blacks from taking charge of their own lives and say we need to take care of you instead. Toure is just a tool.

  • Republicanvet

Stupid that goes bone deep is hard to fathom. If high black unemployment, particularly in Gimmedat run cities is a result of slavery, why does Turde have a job? Or do the mostly white liberals of MSNBC just feel that guilty that they take pity on him?

  • West_Coast

Wait a minute…I know where I recognize Toure from! Wasn’t he the tampon hanging from MHP ear a few weeks ago?

    • Meech204

That was his twin sister. He’s pissed he didn’t think of the earrings first.

  • Michelle

So happy yo see them finally move on from “It’s Bush’s fault!” And for the record, who mostly owned slaves in the South? Democrats.

    • trixiewoobeans

And who still “owns” Welfare slaves and their votes today? Democrats.

They all have jobs, just not ones that will register on any report other than a rap sheet. They are well employed in the pharmaceutical sales, transport and security of those street side transactions. With side jobs in procurement of tools needed to maintain security of the product and to protect sales territory from rival companies who sell the same product. Even a small street side operation can employ 20 people at the street level with large operations have more than 2000 in several neighborhoods that all report to the same management structure.

  • bobmead1960

If you say it enough it might sink in to their thinking. Number one reason for the failure of the black community (and the white community is not far behind them), was when we kicked God out of school, 1963 . When you take away morals than there is an erosion of family and a proper guidance to life. Number 2 is the sexual revolution in the 60’s with the miniskirt, sexual promiscuity and 1973 the ultimate Roe vs. Wade ties in the devaluing of life. When one kicks out God, His guidance for our life (purpose and direction) than mankind in time is HOPELESS. Then mankind has to find answers in what I call “imitation gods” which are drugs, sex, things (fancy home and car), money, alcohol and etc. Slavery is your answer man, come on, get real! As a man of God sadly you miss how God’s direction is the BEST!

I hope he is not saying that the only way they could have a lower unemployment is to have slavery reinstated. What they can’t look for a job on their own? Not skilled enough to do quality and high task jobs. Communication skills lack? Or maybe being able to shoot guns as much as they do, maybe he means they could hunt and kill wildlife better on a plantation. Or maybe he just means that Democrats had all the slaves in the South and he thinks they are still owed by the Democrats to take care of them, nanny state. Either way, he is one confused guy!

  • PatriotRG

sure – it could be because ex slaves expect free housing – free food like in the old days so they remain on government programs ! What utter nonsense.

    1) Black African Chiefs sold their own people in to slavery

    2) 100 thousand whites in the Civil war died to free slaves

    3) There were as many white slaves in Greece , Rome etc than black. (Probably why lots of ex Greek and Roman masters are having economic difficulty – hang on would that not be the white slaves that should be having difficulty…I’m confused now!

  • GaryTheBrave

Tour doesn’t make any sense. If you think about it, during slavery every black was “employed” even the children.

Yes, I expect to see a lot of down votes. No, I have no class.

  • EastValleyConservative

Well, yes Toure. Slavery has become a problem again. However, this time it involves enslaving the middle class to pay for career politicians’ salaries and their constant rewards to their voting base by confiscating from the makers to give to the takers. So, will you stop the slavery Toure?

  • http://www.black-and-right.com/ IceColdTroll

Funny, I don’t remember Chicago, LA, or Vegas being centers of slavery or even in the Confederacy, for that matter.

  • http://www.jabootu.com/acolytes/bnotes/ Apostic

Slavery of the unemployed would pull people out of the job market. With fewer people looking for work, unemployment (as the current Fed gov defines it) would go down. I think we can agree that slavery is not the answer — neither as the solution (because that would be horribly wrong) nor the cause (becuase that’s just horribly stupid).

  • epobirs

So is Toure suggesting that high black unemployment is due to the lack of slavery? What an insult to millions of blacks left without opportunity under this administration.

  • Garrett Gripling

  • mapache

I agree. Slavery of the black community by liberal democrats has kept them from progressing and imprisons them in a vicious cycle of dependence.

  • Sirenz911

He’s right. Loyalty to Obama and the democratic party has made many blacks into slaves. With free housing, food and medicine, they are slaves on the government plantion. Who wants to work when everything is given to you? When are these people going to realilze what they’re actually giving up is their freedom to better their lives. If you told someone we’re going to tell you where to live, what you can buy and what doctor you can see would anyone go for that? Heck no, but in reality that’s exactly what’s being done to many people. ” We be fixed ” is what I usually hear. As if a lousy $710 SSI check and some food stamps is worth selling your soul for.

  • rennyangel2

Toure and MSNBC are living in the 19th C. of race relations. That’s when 1) Dems. owned slaves, 2) Dems. started the Civil War, and 3) Dems. invented the KKK and segregation.

  • peteee363

that is impossible, since Chicago was never a slavery area. most of the blacks in Chicago came from the south. unless the blacks brought the former slave masters with them from the south, it must be that they are unemployable for some other reason.

  • Magnifico

First of all, I had no idea that slavery was still alive and well in America. Secondly, if you’re a slave, in theory you’re employed.

I’m not advocating a return to slavery, but it would put people back to work.

  • Kate

I’m tired of hearing the argument that “poverty causes violence.”

In reality, thug culture, a lack of proper parenting, and a sense of entitlement lead to violence. Free handouts only reward that behavior.

    • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

      Partially right! The other part is the Liberalization of our Law Enforcement, and Judicial system, to the point where tolerance has been raised so much (through “Politically Correct Tolerance), that criminals are getting lighter sentences for more serious crimes, to the point where they no longer fear the Law, nor the Justice system. It’s getting to be like Sodom and Gomorrah all over again! Jawamax 8<{D}

      • Roto

And what can we do when the President repeals existing laws & the Attorney General says publicly that he won’t enforce the ones left on the books? In effect, Obama has legalized crack and powder cocaine.

      • Marjorie

Can we turn the corrupt Chicago politicians into pillars of salt?

    • Cajun

and ma’am, not to jump into your statement, BUT, the sense of entitlement, is actually the biggest factor. Bad, lack-of, or single parenting can still result in fine young people. The something for free, welfare state, free phone, birth control, (which they don’t use birth control, cause they want the baby to add to the $$$ every month), is the reason his country is going to hell in a handbasket.

Slavery? Hey, when the black community won’t learn because it makes them too much like whites. When they can barely speak any language that any group can understand. When black men refuse to take responsibility for their children and think it is funny to have a dozen or more baby mommas. When baby mommas think they are real women for having tons of kids that they can’t take care of. When they want to do nothing but get a big payday….well…..they put themselves into slavery, no need for whitey to do anything.

    10. The Yankees bad season
    9. The long line at Starbucks
    8. Robin Williams new sit-com
    7. The epic fail that is Ryan Reynolds movie career
    6. That Papa John’s pizza tastes like crap
    5. That Jimmy Fallon got Leno’s spot

    3. That Toure’s order was wrong. (Really what’s so hard about extra onions and no mayo? And these humps want a raise to $15 a hour?)

Far too many blacks, because of charlatans like Toure and Al Sharpton, aren’t even in the first stage of recovery.

If anything requires justification there is no justice in it, it is always a lie. Toure’s thought terminating cliche’. He basically by example shows the reason for high unemployment and that is stupid people . Stupid people that justify, stupid people that accept his justification, and stupid people who prefer dependence over independence so we are how many generations removed from slavery in this nation? So when do we get to the generation that we aren’t blamed for? Cause I nor any of my family owned slaves so if anyone tries to hold me or my family accountable that’s slander. Oh, and how many more random people have to die until Trayvon is avenged? While some may have not been innocent they were innocent of causing Trayvon’s death so can we get an approximate number? Oh, and then Zimmerman will be off the hook , right? Oh, probably not because we have individuals who like dependence, a president and a media that promotes it and a population of really stupid people that support it . It just so pathetically absurd and why I say too stupid to live is a valid post mortem.

Oh god what an idiot. My great great grand parents were indentured slaves in a feudal country, yet I am doing really well. Is Feudalism partly to blame? (what a jagggg off Toure is)

So, slavery is a big part in joblessness? Considering slavery ended 148 years ago I have a hard time believing that. no one currently living has been a slave, owned a slave or even knew someone who had been one. Toure should engage his brain before he makes moronic posts.
