We’d already been blessed with one hot take from CNN on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s letter to President Trump suggesting his State of the Union address might not happen if the government wasn’t reopened. Political analyst Chris Cillizza called it a “major power move” by the speaker, and now former White House communications director Jen Psaki is reveling in awe at Pelosi’s letter.
"With one letter, (Nancy Pelosi) made clear there is a new speaker in town, she is playing by her own rules and the President and his team better be ready," writes Jen Psaki for @CNNOpinion https://t.co/b1MAUGThnM

How was her trip? https://t.co/yuehRhy9Nk

Yeah, could somebody move her luggage out of the hallway?
… Pelosi showed Trump and members of her own party why she is the boss. Congress is a co-equal branch of government, and she was has every right to disinvite the President. But there is no doubt she left Trump, many members of his staff and many of the freshmen and up-and-coming members of her own caucus surprised she had the power to disinvite him. If anyone needed a reminder as to why an experienced speaker, who knows how to fight gracefully with a bully on her own terms, is needed right now, Wednesday’s events were a healthy reminder.
That was fighting gracefully? We were assured it was a major power move.

Pelosi is currently being schooled on "readiness."

After, for what it’s worth, which gave Psaki to join everyone else in the talking point that Trump, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, flew to Iraq during the shutdown … while the news media was assuring everyone that Trump had blown off the troops at Christmas.

@SpeakerPelosi is in no way a representative of conservative women in our country. She may be toting the line for the other gals, but in no way should hold this position to represent women in any way. Pelosi is bought and paid for! So sad.

Amen sista, she makes me cringe.

Did anyone else at CNN do a piece on Pelosi’s major power move that we missed?
