'Cindy Sheehan in a hijab': New York Post sounds alarm over Women's March co-organizer

One can’t deny that the Women’s March was a huge success, drawing well over 100,000 women, men, and children to Washington, D.C. alone, where they learned the only common factors they all really shared was being pro-choice and anti-Trump.

So while a hatred of President Trump managed to bring so many together so quickly, it also brought plenty of ordinary suburban moms in the crowd face-to-face with some of the more radical members of the movement on stage.

One of those faces was Women’s March organizer Linda Sarsour, who was the subject of an opinion piece by Lahav Harkov in Monday’s New York Post.

Twitchy has covered Sarsour before, including her (now deleted) tweet wishing she could take away Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s vagina because she doesn’t deserve to be a woman. On Sunday, she appeared on stage at a Jewish Voice for Peace conference in Chicago, where she hugged Rasmea Odeh, who recently agreed to be deported to Jordan as part of a plea deal.

“It’s a curious embrace of terrorism and anti-Semitism from a recipient of a $500,000 taxpayer grant from Mayor de Blasio, as Sarsour’s group, the Arab American Association of New York, was last year,” Harkov observes.
