In the grand American tradition of proposing a terrible solution to a problem after it’s too late to help, Democrats are determined to tie the Second Amendment right to purchase a firearm to the government’s mysterious “No-Fly list.” In his Dec. 5 weekly address, President Obama himself literally called it “insane” to let those on the No-Fly list purchase firearms:
… right now, people on the No-Fly list can walk into a store and buy a gun. That is insane. If you’re too dangerous to board a plane, you’re too dangerous, by definition, to buy a gun. And so I’m calling on Congress to close this loophole, now. We may not be able to prevent every tragedy, but—at a bare minimum—we shouldn’t be making it so easy for potential terrorists or criminals to get their hands on a gun that they could use against Americans.
Potential criminals? That leap in logic is good enough for the Democrat Party.

@TheDemocrats If you are on a no-fly list, should you be able to vote? Practice freedom of speech and religion? Drive a car? Please advise.

@TheDemocrats I'm old enough to remember when Democrats opposed GWB's policies. Now you might as well make him your POTUS nominee.

@TheDemocrats Well 1) this ignores due process and 2) owning a gun is a right, flying on a plane is not.

@TheDemocrats If you can't understand and defend the 5th Amendment, you shouldn't be allowed to use the 1st. See how that works? Idiots.

Also difficult to understand for some Democrats: the role of Congress.
DM: "Since Congress so far has failed to act, we will." #CloseTheLoophole
