WPVI anchor Monica Malpass traveled from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C. to interview the president today. Naturally, the live-on-air murders of TV reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward in Virginia came up, and naturally, President Obama had to twist his answer into some sort of bizarre argument for his personal political agenda.

That’s right: While the president told Malpass, “It breaks my heart every time you read or hear about these kids of incidents,” he just couldn’t end his statement there, adding, “What we know is that the number of people who die from gun-related incidents around this country dwarfs any deaths that happen through terrorism.” Meaning …?

And closing these fabled “loopholes” will help stop terrorist attacks how?
