The news cycle surrounding Rachel Dolezal, the former NAACP chapter president and African studies professor whose parents “outed” her as white, has passed, but after appearing virtually everywhere, Vanity Fair reports that she now can be found doing weaves and braids three days a week to make ends meet.

If you do need a weave, Dolezal has the academic credentials to do it up right. “At Eastern Washington University, she lectured on the politics and history of black hair, and she says she developed a passion for taking care of and styling black hair while in college in Mississippi,” Vanity Fair reports.
