“We’ll take douchebags for $1,000, Alex.”

“This Jeopardy champ posted a seriously tasteless tweet to mark the deadline for Obamacare signups.”

“Who is Ken Jennings?”

That’s right, the answer is Ken Jennings, who chose to speak for the “ghost” of the late Andrew Breitbart as his contribution to the last-minute Obamacare push.

At least one of Jennings’ followers appreciated the humor.

Classy.

Update:

Equally stupid is how you’ve been brainwashed by the right-wing echo machine to think obamcare has failed when it has barley begun. Why don’t you grow up and think for yourself instead of barfing up the usual stupid talking points you hear on FOX or some right-wing talk radio program

I could try and explain the irony of someone of your limited intelligence asserting that but why bother when that thick right-wing skull of yours wouldn’t get it anyway. Plus its clear you have idea what a talking point is.

          • Donald-Now2x/Sarc-w/0calories

A talking point is something that is given to a liberal sheep blindly following what ever their higher ups in the Dim-o-crap party, telling them to say when they are lying, obfuscating, slandering, trying to discredit any one who disagrees with their malformed position on any given issue, because they are not smart enough to offer up a decent, noncritical, enlightened rebuttal about anything, because they are unable, down to a cellular level, have their own opinion by reasoning it on their own. I do think you prove my point, by saying I don’t know what a talking point is, yet a bit later you accuse ME of using a “right wing talking point! Well, what’s it going to be? I either know what a talking point is, or I don’t. You cannot have it both ways, and since YOU are contradicting yourself in this thread, You are the one who is using talking points, like most libturds who say one thing in one breath, and in the next breath, denying they ever said I or wrote itt, even when it is caught on video or live, in order to attack a person with differing opinions, much like you did here. Please get your facts as straight as you can (which is not at all) before falling back on the last resort of liberals, who attack, attack, attack, when they cannot offer up a cogent, reasonable discussion or thought on their own. Nice try, and thanks for playing “Lets slander someone smarter than I am!” Don’t forget your consolation prize on the way back to “under the bridge” where the rest of you and your liberal brethren, waiting for the next fax or e-mail coming down from the “Mountains of Hypocrisy and foothills of outright lies”.

          • Bertrand Johnson

LOL!!! That was absolutely hilarious. What a classic example of extreme ironic hypocritical projection.

Just about everything you accused liberals of applies to you and your right-wing ilk perfectly. For example when you start your rant of with

“A talking point is something that is given to a liberal sheep blindly following what ever the”ir higher ups in the Dim-o-crap party, telling them to say when they are lying, obfuscating, slandering, trying to discredit any one who disagrees with their malformed position on any given issue, because they are not smart enough to offer up a decent, noncritical, enlightened rebuttal about anything, because they are unable, down to a cellular level, have their own opinion by reasoning it on their own.”

That describes you right-winger perfectly. I mean take the economy for example and the reasons you right-wingers cite for why it tanked. Since you right-wingers are in sync with the same talking points I know that just about every right-winger will say the economy tanked because of Freddie, Fannie, The CRA, Barney Frank and/or Chris Dodd. The same goes for pretty much every issue. Go onto any online political forum, right-wing talking radio, Fox “news”.. it you will almost everyone in sync using the same talking points all at the same time.

Oh and there is a difference between knowing what a talking point and using a talking point. I will try and explain but given that you clearly intellectually inferior with a low IQ this will be difficult.

what I mean by a talking point isn’t just the same thing as information but something was goal is to avoid complexity and in depth discussion of issues. So for example take the issue of debt. Right-wingers like you go on and on and on how Obama supposedly increased the deb by spending too much. This is your talking point but(and what I’m about to say doesn’t apply to those who are intentionally mislead people and know what they are saying is full of BS) its shows that haven’t thought about the issue hardly at all. It shows that they have made the following assumptions.

            1) that debt is only a function of spending not revenue

            2) that the the recession that happened more than a year before Obama took over had nothing to do with the increase in debt

            3) that president has total control over both spending and revenue which he doesn’t

            4) that congress has no role in spending levels when in fact it has a more important role than the president

            5) that the president has total control over taxation levels which he doesn’t

            6) that the president has total control over the economy
which he doesn’t and certainly doesn’t have any control over an economy during a times period when he wasn’t president

            7) that the CBO projected that the deficit would increase to 1.2 trillion even before he took office

            8) that new president plans don’t get implemented just like that on his first day. In fact its why I mentioned that fiscal year 2009 is considered Bush’s last fiscal year rather than Obama’s first in the same way fiscal year 2001 was Clinton’s last fiscal year rather than Bush’s first

            9) a presidents plan don’t get implement at all before going through congress for approval

            10) its isn’t just the president that presents plans on the economy

            11) the growth of spending during the Obama administration has been the slowest since Eiesenhower

            http://www.forbes.com/sites/rickungar/2012/05/24/who-is-the-smallest-government-spender-since-eisenhower-would-you-believe-its-barack-obama/

            ^^ from the conservative Forbest

            12) “U.S. Deficit Shrinking At Fastest Pace Since WWII, Before Fiscal Cliff”

            http://news.investors.com/blogs-capital-hill/112012-634082-federal-deficit-falling-fastest-since-world-war-ii.htm#ixzz2xxU2qUDs

^^ From the ultra right-wing Investors Business Dailey

So the issue of debt is a great example. There are these reasons to explain why debt increased but to so many right-wingers you avoid all the complexity and frame it in the ignorantly simple terms of “Obama did it”.

Now you don’t have to understand the purpose of a talking point is to avoid this kind of complexity in order to use a talking point. In fact the kind of people who are easily prone to be manipulated by talking points, stupid intellectually inferior people like you, will not understand that is the purpose of talking point. Those who are easily being played by people like Frank Luntz or Karl Rove don’t know they are being manipulated so of course they will not understand that is the purpose of a talking point

So the fact you think understanding what a talking point is is mutually exclusive to using talking points is a testament to the fact you are a lowly intellectually low IQ dumb ignorant right-wing fleabaggng teabagging republican peasant.

Here let me put this way

THe following defines you and what you belong to

Group #1. The puppeteers or that exploiters. This consists of the GOP party leadership( which includes
cynical political operatives like Karl Rove ,Newt Gingrich and Eric Cantor). It also consists of wealthy funders who pull the strings in the background like the Koch brothers and special interests like banking/finance, defense industry, health insurance industry, etc….

Group #2. The puppets or “exploitees”(for lack of a better word). This group group consists of people like you dumb ignorant right-wing fleabagging teabagging republican peasants who mindlessly spew every damn slogan, narrative and/or talking point you hear of FOX and/or right-wing radio on forums like this one. You puppets can be easily manipulated, played, fooled, indoctrinated, proded, goaded, programmed,(fill in your word of choice) etc… (fill in your favorite word or phrase) by Group 1 the puppeteers. The puppeteers can get the puppets to do almost anything they want by phrasing something a certain way and/or repeating some slogan and/or slogan over and over again. The puppet is powerless to resist the puppeteer because is too stupid to resist it. The puppet is the slave of the puppeteer.

Here is one of my favorite examples of how this works. It comes from a former Tom Delay aid by the name of Michael Scanlon who pleaded “guilty to corruption charges related to the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal.”

This is how he described christian conservatives

“The wackos get their information through the Christian right, Christian radio, mail, the internet and telephone trees … Simply put, we want to bring out the wackos to vote against something and make sure the rest of the public lets the whole thing slip past them.”

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Scanlon

Do you dumb ignorant right-wing fleabagging teabagging republican peasants see that your very own beloved GOP thinks you are a bunch of morons that be manipulated? Do you see how you are being played? Of course you don’t see. Why don’t you see once again? Because once again you’re too stupid to see it.

So chefz774, how does it feel to be a puppet?

          • Bertrand Johnson

Oh and your welcome to show which one of my facts were incorrect or show which ones were talking points. Is my statement that Briebart not a journalist not a fact?

Its also funny to see you say something like ‘alling back on the last resort of liberals, who attack, attack, attack, when they cannot offer up a cogent, reasonable discussion or thought on their own.” and “Lets slander

            someone smarter than I am!”

as you attack and slander someone smarter than you.
I mean you’re the same idiot who said “this corrupt

Marxist regime while spewing liberal talking points like

            brain dead, zombie”.

Imagine that an ignorant right-winger mindlessly and ignorantly using the “marxist” talking point(which right there is evidence of your stupidity) only to immediately follow that up with “spewing liberal talking points like the brain dead,”

I could try and explain the irony but why bother when that thick right-wing skull of yours would have no hope of getting it

      • Dave Turner

Did you think of that bon motte all on your own or did you plagiarize it?

    • fools2234

Probably one of those Obumtard fanboys waving the “4 more years flag” for Obama during his “victory” speech. Yea, 4 more years of debt. Obama added over 5 trillion during his first term, wonder how much he can add during his second?

      • rockribbedrushy

Answer: I’ll see your 5 Trillion and Raise you 5 Trillion.

Question: What if Obama played National Debt instead of Poker?

        • http://www.autoboltfacts.com Gbolt

if you like y our debt…you can keep your debt…

      • Bertrand Johnson

Another right-wing brainwashed fool. The statement ” Obama added over 5 trillion during his first term,” is mind boggling stupid. A president(one person) doesn’t add debt. The president isn’t a dictator who does anything he wants. He doesn’t control congress or the economy you halfwit. Beyond that only the most ignorant fool(hence your handle) doesn’t realize that the steep increase in debt was caused first and foremost from the worst recession since the depression that started more than a year before Obama took office. On Jan 7th, 2009(13 days before Obama took office) the CBO projected the deficit would sky rocket to 1.2 trillion. Furthermore Fiscal year 2009(october 2008 to sep 2009) was Bush LAST fiscal year and not Obama’s first. The deficits actually have been falling so fast under Obama that they have been shrinking faster than anytime since WW II and that is according to the right-wing investors business dailey. Furthermore the conservative forbes has concluded that the growth of spending has been the slowest during the Obama years.

So when will you mindless right-wingers start to think for yourself rather than barf up these ignorant talking points?

        • The Demon Slick

The irony of you calling someone else a fool is rich and delicious. I laughed at you. The Bush budget you blame never passed. Instead the dem majorities in the House and Senate passed a continuing resolution to fund the government until march 3 2009. Bush did sign it, so technically you can put that on him. Now go redo your math, counting all spending beyond 3/3/2009 as Obamas. I also like how you simultaneously try to say in Obamas case it’s not the President’s fault but at the same time blame Bush. It’s hilarious that you can really think that way and not see the hypocrisy of you.

        • Donald-Now2x/Sarc-w/0calories

“He doesn’t control Congress or the economy..” NO, he just uses his “pen and phone” to side step them AND the CONSTITUTION whenever he doesn’t get his little stompy foot way. I actually don’t know why I’m trying to explain this to some paid Obowtome libturd troll who ignores truth and facts about this corrupt Marxist regime while spewing liberal talking points like the brain dead, zombie, libturd parrot it is.

          • Bertrand Johnson

No there some right-wing talking points. The idea that Obama used his pen to “side step them AND the CONSTITUTION”. Give us some examples?

I also love it when someone as ignorant as you who doesn’t have a clue what simple terms like “marxist” means retort with the statement “Obowtome libturd troll who ignores truth and facts about this corrupt Marxist regime while spewing liberal talking points like the brain dead, zombie, libturd parrot it is.”

In the same sentence you spew a mindless braindead right-wing talking point(the “marxist” talking point) followed by claiming its me “spewing liberal talking points” and “parroting”.
I could try and explain the irony but why bother when that thick right-wing skull wouldn’t get it at all

          • The Demon Slick

Stop. you’re killing me. I haven’t laughed so hard in weeks! Still giggling over you thinking politfact is unbiased after Obama and Ayers served on the board of the Annenberg foundation that runs it. You still blaming Bush more than 5 years later is funny too, but that joke is getting old and stale.

      Think of all the
      useless crap he knows.

      Trivia don’t make you smart,
but being smart isn’t trivial, no?

Ken Jennings just went from smart to being a future question on Jeopardy.

Answer: In order to puff himself up, he walked all over the Late Andrew Breibart.

      Question: Ken.. Umm Ken Who?

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

I must repeat what I always do when this human excrement opens his mouth.

Every now and then Game Show Network will rerun the first Jeopardy win that Jennings had, which started his steak. The final answer was something about an American, female, Olympic runner. The correct question was “Who is Marion Jones.?”

Jennings question, written on his screen, was, “Who is Jones?” I don’t know about 2014, but when he was on the show, just a last name was not acceptable from Double Jeopardy onward. You would think that even more so with a name like Jones or Smith, yet they accepted it.

The fix was in from the start. Ken Jennings appears to have had his win streak by means of fraud, assisted by the show. If not assisted by the show, then their staff is stupid for not catching that.

      • HomeyTheClown

SO ol’ Ken is a cheating fraud…. I knew it. These people live in an altered reality.

      • BensinJ

A last name only is acceptable in any round of Jeopardy (unless the specific clue demands it).

        • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

That may be today. It used to be that last name only was good for round one. In Double and Final, it wasn’t specific enough. We were watching that night and commented to each other that it was odd that they accepted it. And that was before we even knew he’d have the win steak and become a national A-hole.

Why is it that Jennings could be a genius in trivia, yet still not know the conditions of Cuban hospitals for its own citizens?

That is Oblamer’s goals, to try to emulate. Jennings is just blind.

    • trixiewoobeans

They think they’re the smartest guys in the room, which makes them the easiest to fool, cause they assume they’re too smart to be fooled. It’s a fatal flaw and has left us with this disaster.

Why would you want to hurt the hearts of the children who lost their father Ken Jennings? What did his kids ever do to you? You’re a vile excuse for a human being.

He offended me. I tweeted him. So…mission accomplished, I guess?

I tweeted him as well. As for attention… dunno. The man has books, he writes guest articles in magazines.

Maybe it was an “I dare you to be a total assh0le on Twitter” from a friend.

I have been in the contestant pool for Jeopardy. Believe me: being good at Jeopardy just means you keep up with the headlines (never mind the news), do a wiki-walk once in awhile, and can hit a buzzer and retreive information faster than most people. It certainly doesn’t mean you have any idea what you’re talking about, or even that you have good taste.

I’ve actually read the book he wrote about his experiences on Jeopardy, and he comes off as kinda insecure (e.g., saying that his appearance on Jeopardy showed the world that not all Christians were mouth-breathers. Um, so you went on Jeopardy to impress Richard Dawkins?).

In any case, Ken is just trying to get under our skin. Ignore him.

    • Thurston S

Just wondering, but if he was trying to prove something about Christians, I think he destroyed any positive impression he was trying to make with that one tweet (channeling the dead, believing in ghosts, being grossly insensitive… I’d say those aren’t in the Christian category).

      • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHY_xOj2M_g PistolsForPandas

That’s exactly it. I just get the impression that he’s trying too hard to be liked by people who despise his Mormonism (which, from what I’ve read, he seems to take pretty seriously).

  • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Andrew Breitbart, so far as I recall, didn’t use the names of dead Lefties, and put words in their mouths like “What was I thinking?”, in order to satirize the Left. Those he poked fun at could poke back– and did.

Part of what Andrew considered his brief in doing his work was to take the pop culture, show an appreciation of its reach and take account of its possibilities– and also show its limitations. Jennings here demonstrates something Andrew understood, as did Andy Warhol before him– people who are famous for being famous tend to be empty vessels. That’s why some only get 15 minutes– and at THAT, overstay their welcome. Warhol celebrated it as he waved it in peoples’ faces, Breitbart feigned the non-plussed “What can you say to this?” desperation, and just waved it so it could be seen, but both Andys were telling you, Is this what you want? Have at it, if you do; do something about it, if it is not.

    • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

Just another example of them saying what they think/imagine someone else would say because they can’t find any record of them actually saying it. Attributing words to a dead person is the epitome of classless chickencrap.

Say it with me, folks: THEY. ARE. CHILDREN.

Seriously. Liberals are mentally stunted adults. Virtually nothing they do or say is:

    – Grounded in reality
    – Not selfish
    – Classy
    – Respectful
    – Mature
    – Well-thought-out
    – Thought-out-at-all

From their pie-in-the-sky ideas (e.g. gun control), to their immature attacks when their inevitable loss in a debate finally hits them, to their selfishness, they are children through and through. And not just children…very immature children. I have three children of my own, and the only one that still acts like a Liberal is only (almost) 18 months old.

You can pretty much take any Liberal’s musings and draw a parallel to something children are notorious for doing or saying. For example, this tweet is akin to some kid going, “Hi, my name is JustEric, and I’m a humongous dork! HUR DER DER DER!” in the most doofy voice you can imagine. Seriously…read his tweet in that voice and you’ll see what I mean.

As you grow, you either mature and become a Conservative, or you don’t and remain a Liberal for the rest of your life.

Okay , lets celebrate Andrew Breitbart beings you brought him up – so to speak ! Each and every Progressive fears ghosts of the past as much as they fear truth ! Progressives lament only Andrew Breitnarts passing from their camp of delusion and rise to intellectual honesty – a place they have only heard about but never yet been . Andrew by his own account rose from an apprenticeship in liberalism and lies to promote a higher plain called truth . If he found the Way the Truth and the Life as well while here – his soul has soared as loftily as his rise from liberalism , from this earth below to the heights of heavens shore . May Andrew Breitbarts ghost haunt all who shun reality and truth , promote empty promises – false hope – joblessness and wealth distribution with cheese and shantys for all !

I’ve found this to be a useful antidote against the superstitions of today’s liberals and progressives, formatted for smartphones: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0094KY878

Considering the unusual circumstances of Andrew Breitbart’s death and the death of the coroner who did the autopsy, I wouldn’t be joking about this, Mr. Jeopardy Champ. But again you seem to be on the safe side and marching in goose step with all the others.

All my life I’ve heard that intelligent people have no common sense….THIS PROVES IT!!!!

  • Lisa Dean

WoW! @kenjennings – you prove that money can buy you almost anything – except class, decency, respect for the dead and a clue. SMH

That is to expected from the Vulgarians of the Left. They lie, they lie about lying, they make personal attacks on the innocent to hurt their opponents, lie about THAT and lie again. They use their offices to build up great wealth for themselves and accuse other of greed. When I see some cartoon character in the GOP refer to a Leftist/Democrat Senator or House Critter as “my friend” I cringe.

I got to meet Andrew Breibart at an anti-Dingy Critters and Lying Thieves rally in Lighthouse, Nevada a few years ago–he is missed.

Being book smart or knowing a bunch of trivia
doesn’t give you common sense. Or tact…or class …or respect. Old Ken just lost a lot of fans. Big time.

His attempt at humor was a greater fail/offense.

  • Kim Hunt

Could Ken Jennings ask Andrew who murdered him? That might be helpful…

  • Douglas Williford

He’s not smart, he had ghosts telling him all the answers.

  • MichellesBigBeaver2

This Obama taint licker thought he was channeling Breitbart but instead was channeling Ted Kennedy ‘s brain tumor……

  • David H. Cheresh

    Answer: 153.

Question: How often did Ken Jennings have the shit kicked out of him while walking past the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City?

Alex: Correct, but “Not Enough” would have also been accepted.

  • Abigsoxfan

This is the left. Just look at all the millions of dead bodies they have left behind all over the planet in any area where they came to power. They have no respect for life and will trample all over it to achieve their goal of power and wealth.

So, Kenny. How did they rig the questions for you ala 21 at Jeopardy, in order to raise ratings? Just curious. And just to avoid embarassment, you can answer via Breitbart’s ghost!

Absolutely hilarious how a discussion like this morphs into topics WAYYYYYY off the original topic.

For those of you keeping score at home, the original topic of the article was about Ken Jennings, of “Jeopardy” fame, tweeting about something the late, great Andrew Breitbart allegedly “said as a ghost”.

Now the topic has grown branches into other subjects like the economy, the intelligence (or lack thereof) of liberals, and a long winded diatribe about “talking points”.

I can only attribute the conversation straying way off course to one of the following:

-a liberal was offended by the original topic at hand, decided some trolling was necessary, and pulled an Alinsky by distracting posters AWAY from the original offending topic.

-the offended liberal pulled an Alinsky and belittled or offended a poster using an insult, and inflamed the conversation, which led it off topic.

-or just as likely, a common, everyday liberal with a short attention span, either forgot what the original topic was, has poor reading comprehension skills, or simply ignored protocol by changing the subject for no other reason but to spout off on topics the liberal agenda wants them to spout off about.

Anyway, getting back to the original topic…Ken Jennings “channeling” the spirit of Andrew Breitbart on the subject of Obamacare…I don’t believe in ghosts; Ken Jennings is a disrespectful little man; and Saul Alinsky is desperately searching for a glass of ice water and an air conditioner right now in hell.
