What makes people think Madonna’s Instagram account was hacked? On Friday, the singer posted a photo of her son Rocco with the caption, “No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disnigga.”

Billboard.com editor-in-chief M. Tye Comer was among those not feeling the #disnigga hashtag.

It doesn’t look like Madonna was hacked. After TMZ published a story on the controversy, Madonna apparently changed the photo caption to something less offensive.

  • JD

Obviously that hashtag was taken from the best seller “Hashtagging for the Formerly Relevant”

    • Jonathan Roberts

by the way she is obviously Relevant to you to spend any ounce of time out of your life to type that. WTF…. #LOSER

  • Pope Sparkles (F)

Seriously? Butt hurt much? She didn’t call you the name. Its between her & her kid. People need to start learning to mind their own.

          • Tactitus Talks

My you neurotics love not to BE JUDGED, but you jump on it when it is someone else don’t you?

        • Jill

If that were the case, why do you suppose she did not make it private and send it via private messenging? By posting it publicly, one could easily surmise that she meant for a broader audience to see the pearls of her ‘wisdom’.

          • Tactitus Talks

Surmise, in other words JUDGE. But if pulled on you you would be taking your Ritalin and contacting your shrink. My point is you are still a bunch of neurotics expressing outrage for someone that YOU DO NOT KNOW and WILL NEVER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU. “Sticks and stones…” at one time was what we told young people in dealing with words. Words CANNOT harm you unless you allow them to. Words directed at you cannot harm you unless you are an insecure neurotic. Words aimed at someone else – well that just shows how WEAK you really are.

          • Jill

Unless you are Madonna, herself, it is hard to understand your fervor. No one here has said that they have been ‘harmed’ by her words. Quite the contrary, most people responding are basically saying that it was ill advised. When you place your life on public display, you should expect public reaction, both positive and negative.

    • roger gibson

Okay, fine and dandy there, Sparkles. Go ahead and say the N word when and where you please-as long as it’s between you and your family I’m sure nobody minds.

She is a public figure, Twitter(or in this case, Instagram) is a public forum, it was innapropriate, Madonna is a douche-nozzle who’ll get away with it cos she’s a libtard, and, uh, you’re a douche-nozzle.

      So there.

      • Pope Sparkles (F)

Interesting words there, cupcake. I really don’t care what Madonna says. Haven’t for a long. Don’t care what a lot of people say to be perfectly honest. I don’t agree with what she did, but I’m not going to go bashing her for it either. Its between her & her son.
As for douche-nozzle label, you’re so clever. Ever thought about going on the road? Time to put your big boy pants on now & get a life.

        • roger gibson

K cupcake, I’ma give u an up vote out of sympathy.

If u don’t care what Madonna says, or what others say, then yer at the wrong page to go caring about what others say about what Madonna says PUBLICLY. To her son, to her hired help, to anyone.
And in whatever manifestation of the British accent she chooses to use when saying it.
Oh. Right. No British accents on Twitter. But anyways…

          At least I’m not stupid.

          • Pope Sparkles (F)

What Madonna says is not a priority in my life. She did not call me, my family, or my friends that name, so what difference does it make to me? None.
I don’t understand why you’re getting all butt hurt by this. Madonna’s whole career was made by having shock value.
Thanks for the up vote, I guess. I don’t live my life my popularity vote.
Hope you find a way to rid your life of this hostility you hold close to your heart, cupcake.

          • roger gibson

            Aw c’mon Pope!
I, in fact, also do not care what Madonna said.
But I gotta admit, it’s been fun messin with ya!

Its all good. I wasn’t all that mad. I agree, the comment section can drive one to drink.

  • JaneSmith100

I feel for her two black children. She is racist. Why would anyone say that, least of all a mother to two black children? Enough of this old woman.

    • $6309160

I think the hashtag was ignorant and Madonna has become so try-hardy at her age that it’s embarrassing, but she is not racist. She not only has two black children, but she has dated many black men since she was in her twenties in the ’80s forward and men of other dark-skinned ethnicities,. The color of someone’s skin was never an issue to Madonna. She also back in the day put African-Americans in her videos in a way that no other white pop star did at the time, like her music video Secret.. And she has frequently collaborated with African American artists and producers for many of her albums Call that hashtag ill-advised, but she’s one person you could never call racist.

      • Zach Smith

All white people are racist and all black people are victims of slavery. This is a universal truth.

She doesn’t get a free pass.

    • Tactitus Talks

Let me clue you in – every one is racist. When you look for a mate, do you give equal consideration to ALL RACES. Who do you gravitate to when you enter a room of strangers? It is normal and natural. Idiots like you and all of these professional victims should “really” experience racism, in places like Africa and Asia. You will find that Native Africans have little use for American BLACKS.

That “poor” son of hers has access to much more than 100% of his own race being raised by their own parents.

      • Fjordie

Shh, don’t tell it like it is. People may tale offence. and the PC brigade will be up in arms.
PS I once whispered to my brother “she’s too dark for my liking” when talking about a girl in a pub. I was overhead and called a racist. If I had said she’s too blonde for me would there have been a problem? No of course not. So as described a lot of people are are just looking for an excuse to label somebody a racist.

Don’t get me wrong. Racism is abhorent.

It’s the difference between public vs. private and being personally responsible vs. irresponsible. See, if you want others to mind their own business then you must keep your business to yourself in the first place. Madonna CHOSE to show others her comment about her own son -so she can’t play “victim” when others let her know what they think about it. You choose to post photos or comments for public consumption then you chose to make it the public’s business.

Exactly. The fun is in making the word popular in the culture, then if someone white says it, acting like they’ve been whipping slaves behind the barn. It’s probably tremendous fun getting whitey to feel guilty & then grovel for forgiveness.

    • Harry A

My Jewish friends, call each other kik3 – using it the same way black people use the n-word. I’ve also heard “y-d” used quite often, again not a term i would ever use to refer to them.

There are lots of white people in the Appalachians who call themselves hillbillies. This term is usually viewed as insulting when a non-member of the group uses the term – although arguably not near the same degree as the n-word. There are however a lot of white people who call themselves cr-ckers though, this i would say is still seen as very offensive when a non-white person calls a white person that. I’ve heard the term used a lot at the four NASCAR races I attended at Daytona. Not a word I would ever use to refer to a white person.

There are many gays that call themselves f-gs or f-ggot, again a term that would universally be deemed as offensive if a non gay person called a gay person that.

Many younger Hispanic people refer to themselves and their friends as “sp-cs”. But a non-hispanic person calling a hispanic person that cause some outrage. You may remember that Italian American groups had many problems with the Jersey Short cast calling themselves “guidos” on TV. Females these days often refer to their other girl friends as their “b-tches”, many of those sam women would get highly offended if a man called them their b-tch.

So lets not pretend that us black people are the only people who use terminology to refer to ourselves within a group that we find offensive if someone outside of the group uses.

      • Jake Bradford

I’ve never heard any white people call each other crackers. I think you are grasping at straws.

        • Harry A

Go to a NASCAR race, the term was very popular there and used in the same why black people say n-gga. The gentlemen who sat next to me at my first race, who to this day is the most hospitable and kindhearted person I have ever met told me to check out infield where the campers stay for the real party because “thats where all us crazy cr-ckers are and we know how to party”.

The last I wrote here that I’ve heard white people call themselves cr-ckers somebody else dismissed it as well – and they received replies from 4 or 5 people claiming that they were proud cr-ckers.

          • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

            Maybe back in the days of Wendell Scott, the first Black NASCAR winner (1961), when he first “broke into” the sport, it was a regular “Old Boys’ Network” of white southern racists. It took a long time for Wendell to be accepted by the NASCAR community, but they made it right in 2011, when they finally recognized him for the one race he won in Jacksonville, Fla. . Jawamax 8<{D}

I don’t one single hoot who this ridiculous word offends, but I do love when the backlash smacks Madonna (and other hypocritical, arrogant Lefties like her) right in the mouth.

The same with misogynists, which the Left’s ranks are swelling with, should wash their mouths out with strong soap and wear a muzzle.

If the “Hip” black men, women, and children, and Obama and his cult-worshippers, and vicious Leftists are all going around popping invectives out of their mouths, including the N word, 24/7, then everyone should be able to do so, freely, without condemnation, otherwise the blacks who spew that nonsense should be condemned with the same vociferous outrage, and they should be muzzled, never again permitted to spew the same BS!!!

Umm.. If you compare Rocco’s personal Instagram acct to Madonna’s.. You’ll see the type of language and writing similar.. I think Rocco hacked it.. This would be the second.. The first with the ‘Alcohol’, now this #dsn*** post… #1 Madonna never apologizes for anything.. #2 Madonna is way to Savvy. #3 Rocco is early teen with bottomless $$ act and time…and apparantly her passwords…. Check out and compare.. you’ll. see..

Madonna is just guilty for being a great Mom…. That’s all….
