The owners of the Hobby Lobby craft store chain have been engaged in an ongoing battle with Kathleen Sebelius and HHS over their right to refuse to pay for abortifacients for their employees because of religious objections. The Supreme Court in November agreed to hear Hobby Lobby’s case, but a decision in the case isn’t likely until summer.

They say in comedy timing is everything, and comedian Lizz Winstead decided today was the day to revive the Hobby Lobby debate with a hashtag game. #HobbyLobbyBirthControl, anyone? Anyone?

…and that’s it.

For what it’s worth, the owners of Hobby Lobby have stated no moral objection to providing 16 of the 20 FDA-approved contraceptives required under the HHS mandate — that’s four times as many contraceptives as #HobbyLobbyBirthControl responses. In reality, you see, Hobby Lobby birth control looks a lot like everyone else’s birth control.
