As Twitchy reported, MSNBC host Martin Bashir on Friday suggested that someone should defecate in Sarah Palin’s mouth so that she would understand the true brutality of slavery and not try to compare it to crippling national debt.
The Examiner, though, has turned up video (via Newsbusters) of Bashir himself using slavery in an analogy. In June 2011, introducing a story on Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum signing “a pledge on upholding traditional marriage,” Bashir teased, “Did two Republican hopefuls really sign a pledge suggesting a return to the days of slavery?”

Time perhaps for Bashir to worry less about Sarah Palin’s mouth and more about what comes out of his own.
