What was that DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz tweeted earlier today about the president being eager to work with Republicans to get the Affordable Care Act working?

Well, so much for that idea. It seems that President Obama is intent on he and the Democrats retaining sole ownership of this train wreck.

Crazy, huh?

    • Andy from Beaverton

I couldn’t believe he would be so stupid either, so I searched The Onion. Damn, Obama’s a first class tard!

Not only a [email protected] but BOBO is a RAClST on top of it all !!!! You all understand why BOBO says he will veto anything that comes out of Congress right, his RAClST BOBOcare law will be history if Congress fixes this MONSTROSITY of a RAClST law !! BOBO did NOT care if the roll out went off without a hitch, BOBO just wanted the RAClST law to start !! You see, if he gets this RAClST law to start, it will be a ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM & we all know once a entitlement program starts it never ends, THAT WAS BOBO’s plan !!

Just think of the RAClST BOBOcare as BOBO’s failed RAClST policy of REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH that he could NOT get to pass Congress in 2009, even though he had control of both the House & the Senate !!! That was because the Congress members knew WE THE PEOPLE would NEVER OK something as RAClST as REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH !! What BOBO did with the RAClST BOBOcare was go around WE THE PEOPLE & sneek in this RAClST law right under our noses, THANKS UNINFORMED VOTERS, you bunch of JACK@$$ES !!!!

Now BOBO know the law is in big trouble but he will just act like a Dictator & he will say the law isn’t working & the only way to fix it is to go to single payer ( BOBO’s plan all along ) socialist medicine way of doing things !!! Now if BOBO lets Congress fix it, that dream of BOBO’s will be gone & BOBO knows it !!! This is all about socialist medicine & in socialist medicine there is no room for Congress !!! Time for BOBO to be IMPEACHED since he seems to have forgtten that he works for WE THE PEOPLE, not the other way around !!!!!

All I want to know is what are the drugs that these people are using. Just because I’m so damned curious.

    • Richard J Sunkle

I think he’s been hanging out with the mayor of Toronto.

      • Hadit Uptohere

So sad though, when the mayor of Toronto gives better excuses than Obama.

    • Leslie Lesaroo

No, that’s just the problem. They need to be put on drugs. The unclench-and -relax kinds. The Dem party has always been a wild freak show but now… they’re like hypnotized rabbits.

  • syvyn11

This shows that Mr. Bozo isn’t serious about fixing the problem. He knows his ‘administrative fix’ is a bunch of horse squeeze. So when a bill will let the idiot keep his promise, codified by law, it won’t work cause it’s not political expedient.

When his directive fails, Obummer will do what he always does. blame everyone on earth, but himself.

    • AMSilver

The only thing he wants out of this situation is an excuse to shift blame over to the insurance companies. ‘Hey, I told the insurance companies they could keep offering those plans, didn’t I?’ and leave out the part where he was offering to not enforce the law, without changing the law to actually make it legal for the insurance companies to do what he’s ‘letting’ them. He now has the optics of letting people keep their plans, but in such a way that insurance companies won’t dare take him up on it because they don’t want to be breaking the law. They don’t know when the president might change his mind and start enforcing the law again…

    • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

And what ticks everyone off, which he knows we know our Constitution, which he despises, and our Founders he spits on when it comes to law(s) and justice, and doesn’t give a crap how he throws our Medicaid Taxes around, or to who, he just says its for the down trodden and the poor, but causes absolute chaos, severe duress that our identities have been stolen and the FBI hasn’t recovered where ours and 5000 other peoples ID was sent to, cancelled insurance because it is not affordable any longer and will be cancelled in 2014 anyway-nor are we going to see doctors that “have to be approved by the government before you can see them”, that their are fraudsters in his Navigators and we are suppose to sleep at night just knowing that because he’s the prezzie that live is just fairy-tails, unicorns and utopia-land for us, NOT! • ObamaFail

So he went on tv and lied today? NOT SURPRISED! Seriously libs, are you morons still keeping the faith with Obama? • RumDoooogie

of course because people would rather have private ins. instead of obamacare and it will fall flat

  • Frustrated Teacher

Republicans should just go home for the holidays, pop some popcorn and let this POS plan slide down the crapper. They don’t own even a tiny bit of it and if they put their fingerprints on it through a ‘bipartisan’ rescue plan it will just allow the media and left to put the blame on them for its failure. To my conservative Congressman…don’t be stupid AGAIN. Stay FAR away from trying to fix this mess as it will only slop the crap on you too (and this is what Preezy and the gang hope for now).

    • Republicanvet

They really do need to stay away from it because they media will be blaming them forever for anything bad that results. It WILL delay the inevitable.

      • ObamaFail

I don’t know if the media can blame the GOP for anything even if this effort doesn’t do what it’s intended to do. Because the mess was still caused by Obamacare, and Obamacare’s damage to the individual market is why the measure failed. That’s the point that will be driven home. The fringe left will be desperate enough to believe the MSM’s lies, but everyone else is going to be too busy directing their anger at the party who passed this without even reading it.

    • Jay Stevens

Yes, indeed. The moment the Republicans touch any part of this, the problem will become theirs.

  • BoscoBolt

Republicans have no business trying to help obama and democrats with THEIR obamacare disaster.

    IMPEACH obama NOW!

    • Worship Dancer

they’re not. they ARE trying to help the American people – aka taxpayers and voters.

      • MNWoman

I agree with you, and I think they need to do this, but they will be screwed either way.

If it passes, insurance companies are already saying it is impossible to reverse what they’ve done without destabalizing the market. So if the Republicans push for this and succeed, they will probably end up being blamed if the insurance situation gets worse.

        • Worship Dancer

yep already being blamed for website not working. *rolling eyes*

          • karmafordems

  • ObamaFail

Go ahead, Obama. Veto it. We dare you. All you’ll be doing is proving to the people losing their insurance because of your lies and failures that you only care about your own agenda and couldn’t care less about how it effects them. So go ahead and do it.

    • HanaFiveO

Youre assuming that Reid will allow a vote on it…

      • ObamaFail

Let Reid kill the bill without even bringing it up for a vote. That’ll just drive the point home even further that the Dems are playing fast and loose with our lives, and they’ll pay for it next year.

        • HanaFiveO

I agree, they need to pass as many bills as possible to get a record for 2014.
I used to worry about the collateral damage, but after today I finally let go of that.

Were all screwed, its as simple as that.

          • ObamaFail

We’re all screwed, this is true. And as long as the Socialists control the Senate it’ll stay like that

….and don’t forget….it’s not only Republicans losing their insurance. Dems and Indys are too

      • Clayton Grant

I assume nothing with Reid. Let him kill this one. Let them eat it.

        • ObamaFail

Reid voted for the measure that would kill people’s policies. So obviously he’s against anything that will keep people away from the exchanges.

      • Remmy700P

All they need to do is pass it in the house. Reid stomping on it in the Senate is the same as Obama rejecting it. Win-win.

        • HanaFiveO

And so they did. Flood Reid/WH with demands to pass a clean Upton bill to keep the POTUSs promise.

Obama’s Dictator move to change law at a news conference is so much better than going by the constitutional law. Just veto that bill that is what his job is to block all legal acts of congress. The constitution is in the toilet and congress needs to stop it once and for all.

  • Robert Sullivan

Republicans need to sit back and watch him and obamacare sink

He already has his soundbites on tv, from earlier today ,

Unfortunately, that’s as far as most of democratic voters go for news

  • scribbler

This may actually be clever. The dems seeking mid term election get to tell voters they did all they could to reform the bill, and obama–who does not need re elected–bites the bullet with a veto. Smoke and mirrors…typical dem platform.

    • idalily

Ah, but what if the R’s come back after the veto with Repeal and Replace and it passes the House? Then what? Reid will block it, but if Senate Dems start getting heat over the holidays to pass Repeal, Reid might be forced. Then Obama’s veto on THAT primes the pump for an R storm in the midterms that could be enough to override any veto. Obamacare goes down. His whole admin a total waste. Yeah, you can say I’m a dreamer…but I’m not the only one…

Please tell me people are actually listeningn to this insanity. This is a powertrip that is very, very scary.

Go ahead, Mr. President, make our day.

    We remember:

Asked whether the tea party members are good or bad for the country, Obama told the AP he was more concerned about their tactics than about their positions.
“It’s this idea that if they don’t get 100% of their way, they’ll shut down the government or they’ll threaten economic chaos,” he said. “That has to stop.”

    • JeffyTheQuick

I’d say it has to start.

Hey Mr. Speaker… Remember the last government shutdown? Nobody noticed, except the WW II Veterans (well, they just moved the barry-cades), those visiting the National Parks, and the others that the pResident wanted to put out.

Repeal it. Have every bill that goes through the House have a repeal amendment on it.

Want to name a Post Office? Sure. Here is the Fred Tinklemaster Post Office bill. Oh yeah, Here is Section 2: The ACA is repealed. Make it EVERY BILL that goes to the Senate.

  • FirstBoot

  • tops116 ✓Quipper

Boy, I’ll bet the red-state Democrats just loved to hear that. Pass the popcorn.

    2013: “VETO!”

“Unlike ObamaCare, Upton bill will have bipartisan support AND keeps Obama’s most high profile promise.”

I’d also wager more people in Congress have read Upton’s bill in the last week than have read Obamacare in three years.

  • tops116 ✓Quipper

Seriously, this is like “The Simpsons Movie”:

    Staffer: S-sir, I’m afraid you’ve gone mad with power…
Obama: Of course I have. You ever tried going mad without power? It’s boring. No one listens to you!

  • drw

Regardless odramas threats HR 3350 needs to go through. The American people need to see that there are still some in Washington that have not completely forgotten why they are there. To do any less would be to admit their impotence and strengthen odramas sense of power. I expect hairy greed will refuse to allow a vote thus taking odrama off the hook. Should it make it through both houses, get vetoed, and the veto overridden, even should we become tainted with partial ownership, we have still shown “his highness” a limit to his power. Any way it works out we gain something.

    • idalily

No, if Obama vetoes, that’s GOOD. This bill needs to go DOWN. Then the R’s need to push repeal, repeal, repeal. No fixing this monstrosity. Burn the mother down.

      • drw

No what? There are a lot of different ways this could play out. I agree that the ultimate goal is repeal but that opens its own can of worms. I don’t expect this resolution to get past the senate much less the spitehouse. My post was merely to point to the possibility that some good could be expected regardless the bills ultimate status. Provided, that is, the GOP’s willingness/ability to capitalize.

Otherwise the whole thing collapses. So Obama wants to extend it one year, but then we’re right back where we are now with the added bonus of employer provided plans being cancelled. There’s an election in November next year. do they really think the upcoming cancellation letters won’t start coming out in September and October?
