The former president isn’t in costume, but we think he’s over the moon with his “tiny astronaut” in his arms.

Miss you, George! Didn’t always agree with you, but I miss you! God Bless.

    • Medicinewoman2

Actually no but due to cretins such as yourself, we can be reminded of how low so people will go.

    • Michelle ✓classified

There’s nothing “ghetto” about that man. He possesses dignity and grace, and in his retirement a whole lot of humility. Did you know he spends his free time helping children in Africa? Not just his money, but by actually going there and spending time with them. Have you ever seen a picture of Obama in an African village helping impoverished children? Ghetto that.

And for your edification, I sometimes wear a ball cap backwards just for the fun of it. I have always lived in middle-class neighborhoods, and hold two college degrees. Gonna call me ghetto, too?

      • CatHerder ✓fire! ✓fire!

Any guy who has ever rubbed noses with a baby can tell you that either the cap comes off or gets turned around, and sometimes there’s no place handy to set it down.

      • No longer shocked

You’re right, Michelle. President Bush spends so much time helping children and the media? Total silence. He is an awesome individual. What a beautiful picture.

      • ErikandKathy Muller

Bush was total class when he ran the White house. He EXPECTED much, and there were no excuses. He also took the blame, when things went wrong.

Btw, I’m from the “ghetto” and I have never wore my baseball caps backwards. Don’t know what therealguyfaux is talking about. I always thought it was more of a suburban thang. I saw more people wear their caps backwards when I stayed in burbs. lol

        • Michelle ✓classified

I don’t really assign it any class of neighborhood or being a cultural thing. As I explained, I was raised middle-class and my brother always tried to get away with a backwards ball cap at the dinner table, Mom never stood for it. I’ve done it here and there (and even to this day) my whole life. And come to think of it, “ghetto” when it comes to ball caps are the large caps that “ghetto” guys wear high on their head and shifted to the side. THAT is ghetto.

    • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

I didn’t Sarc-tag this, because somehow I figured most people would realize the whole idea of Dubya as “ghetto” was so far removed from any reality that exists as to be completely absurd.

But it is a bit disheartening to see people fail to take what was obviously a joke about the man’s somewhat-unusual-for-him mode of dress in the spirit in which it was obviously meant– Dubya, dressed as “Trayvon,” with Obama for an uncle? It’s satire. The joke is about OBAMA, for making such remarks, 4fuxsake!

I apologize to all the pygmies in New Guinea.
      But I don’t care who y’are, that there’s funny.

    • Michelle ✓classified

That’s not being political, that’s being a true American. I left a comment on another post about how I’ve come to terms with that fact that I never became a mother, and part of what makes that reality easier to accept is knowing I am not leaving children or grandchildren behind in a country whose future is so uncertain. I am a child of the 70’s and 80’s, and honestly, that’s the last time I can remember feel so completely hopeful about the path and future of this country.

Too harsh? How so? She has no class and no understanding of protocol. She comes off Air Force One dressed like she just came from Grandma’s backyard BBQ. And she never holds her shoulders back, always hunched forward with rounded shoulders – stand up straight for Pete’s sake. • Mr_Wrestling_XIII

I guess you’re right, but if it’s only occasionally, I have no qualms with it. From the most of the pics and media appearances I’ve seen her in. She dresses up alright. Everyone has unflattering shots. I don’t know why the right has to be so mean to her. Other than a few remarks, I have nothing against her personally. I feel the same way with the left savagely attacking Ann Romney.

Reagan broke protocol, too, by wearing sweatpants on Air Force One. He still looked like a boss:

          http://images.fineartamerica.com/images-medium-large/president-reagan-wearing-sweatpants-everett.jpg

          • Michelle ✓classified

Sorry we don’t feel the same about Michelle Obama. I have a lot against her and it all started back when she said, “For the first time in my life, I’m proud to be an American.”

The public is too mean to her? She acts like she’s a Queen – when this country has been struggling for so many years, she’s been jet-setting all over the world on numerous vacations and hosting private concerts at the White House.

None of it come close to how the Left treated Laura Bush calling her a “murderer” on a daily basis because of a car accident she was involved in when she was a teenager.

As for the protocol thing, I was actually referring to how she is expected to behave when visiting other countries. Like when she put her hand on the back of the Queen of England – ya just don’t treat the Queen like she’s a buddy. Corny rules to us? Absolutely, but when in Rome…. And how about that time her darling husband continued talking over the band playing God Save the Queen? They are so clueless. I don’t care that Ronald Reagan was wearing sweats on AF1, I know for damn sure he never, ever would have stepped off that plane still wearing them. I would not put it past Michelle to do it.

          • Anchababemalkin

Hey at least she didn’t want to leave America unlike Todd Palin…secessionist..i.e. traitor

          • Brother bob

Aside from all the protocols the wench has broken being a First Lady..let’s just focus on her ignorance and hypocricy. The fata$$ has no sence of integrity just like HIS idiot husband.

          • Mr_Wrestling_XIII

Yeah, the quote about her being proud to be American for the first time pissed me off. That’s talk I expect from internet blogger nobodies, not First Ladies. I’m sure Michelle isn’t the only first lady that acted like a “queen”. You got to admit the Right has been unnecessarily mean to her. If I had a nickel for each time I see the term “Moochelle” in right-leaning sites, I’ll have a sh*tload of nickels! If Michelle O was the wife of a GOP president, I’m sure the Left will be just equally as mean if not more to her. Vice versa with the Right, they might actually praise Michelle for being “real” and for not being an elitist snob, if she were the wife of a conservative president. lol

Just pointing out the hypocrisy of both sides. The Left is worse, indeed. I remember hearing people wishing GWB’s death, all the time.

          • Michelle ✓classified

I hear you, and I’m not one who uses names like “Moochelle” That name calling is not OK with me – I can express my dislike for her in different ways. Nothing tops how mean the Left was to Laura Bush and constantly calling her a murderer and insisting she caused that car accident on purpose. That accident resulting in a loss of life is a pain I imagine she still hurts over to this day, and the left throwing it in her face, calling her a murderer was beyond disgusting and hateful. As much as you don’t like how Michelle O. is treated, none of it surpasses what the Left put Laura Bush through.

          • Secure

You quoted Michelle Obama wrong like most conservatives.
You should at the very least quote her correctly when using “quotes.”

          • Michelle ✓classified

Gosh, you’re right. I got the exact wording wrong, but the message conveyed is precisely the same. For the first time in her life, she was proud of her country. #NiceTry

          • Secure

You still got it wrong. Try again. You should know that when you use “quotes” you’re supposed to quote the exact words that a person said, not what you think they said.

          • Michelle ✓classified

Well, I already said I got the words wrong and then corrected myself by…providing a video of her saying the exact quote. You are all kinds of confused. I’m done giving you attention. Take care.

I have to agree that this could be a problem. Mine is genetic & my “l” posture is with my shoulders rolled forward & it gives me a slight humpback sometimes. I do the best o can, maybe she does too?

          • QWYS (Hydralisk of the Swarm)

Well, in fairness, that is plausible. I would think the POTUS Photo-Op would have trotted this out in one of his Obamacare speeches to a bunch of rabid progressives on a college campus …

“You know, that if Michelle had the access to affordable health care being provided by the PPACA, she would not have these back problems today. I don’t want any of the young women here to day to have to suffer like Michelle has and my mother did.”

Regardless you can bet they aren’t being caused by The Hindmost.

Personally, I’m going with she’s just beat down because she married a guy that wears mom-jeans while riding a unisex bicycle, sucks at hoops, and has never actually fired a shotgun on a skeet range.

Isn’t it sad that the cretin we have as prez doesn’t hold a candle to this man. Bush has honor, values, morals and ethics. Can’t say the same for Odumbo.

  • Billie Slash

    I sure do miss ‘normal’.

  • ELC

I’ll take the Bushes back in the WH anyday over the cretins we have now. What a beautiful picture of Mila with her grandparents. Wonderful things come in small pkgs.

I miss george and laura so much!! glad they are enjoying their new grandbaby!! god bless!!

  • Spasmolytic

Great photo! George Bush is a kind man which is why liberals anger me so much when they say horrible things about him.

Good to see president Bush enjoying life. Poor Bill Clinton, just can’t get out of his own way. His wife will never get into the whitehouse with blood on her hands.

  • Lindakl

The Bushs are enjoying their life, nothing like a grandbaby!

  • AppraisHer

It’s nice to look way back at how normal the White House used to be…legal and classy, with no mental instability problems.

What?? It’s only been 5 years? It feels like an eternity.

Can you believe someone said that Michelle Obama was “much prettier” than Laura Bush!?

Frankie, good to see you focus on what is important.

      • Frank DiSalle

Ace, you can’t call me “Frankie,” unless you knew me before I was 13.
Sorry to see someone sucked the fun out of your life. Would you feel better if I called her, “Laura, the War Criminal’s wife”?

        • Ace Duncan

No, I just find it fascinating that you cannot believe that someone might think Michelle Obama is “prettier” than Laura Bush. Why is that so hard to believe Frank?
