Remember last week when MSNBC viewers saw a banner reading, “GOP flubs Obamacare launch“? It took him days, but today Fox News contributor Juan Williams attempted a similar leap, blaming the “excruciatingly embarrassing” rollout of the website on those darned Republicans and their “massive opposition.”

Of course, Republicans had no idea how broken the website would be since it hadn’t been launched yet, but somehow their looming presence forced the administration into rolling out an inoperable system. That and their deal to delay the rollout for a year.

That look was priceless. We call it the “listening to Juan Williams spin” look:

    • snowleopard (the true one)

Why the shock? The leftists will do anything to blame others and make themselves appear to be victims of some vast conspiracy. The Vichy Republicans will in turn ensure the Tea Party and Libertarians are castigated for it.

      • Ariadnea

Many of you are still not getting it. Liberals are not there to inform and convince the informed and politically tuned voters. They intentionally mislead, to convince the uninformed which is sadly, majority of voters. Why do you think they are successful in the last election? They granted interviews to media which catered to the low and uninformed voters, they cared less on the audiences of the so called “acceptable press”, as they know that their media surrogates already had their audiences taken care of. If Conservatives and Republicans would want to do well in the next election, they must make themselves available where most of the uninformed or majority of voters get their news and entertainment, those super market-gossip-rack- magazine and news as well as those music radio stations, and mediums of which Republicans have never thought of before. Majority of American voters are low/uninformed, indifferent, and have attention deficit syndrome. If you want America to do better, go to where majority of voters love to congregate and educate them on the peril of where the country is heading and how it will affect them personally.

          Flood social media..

Granted, today, with everything they have.. the only way to reach the indifferent and apathetic..

          but fluff TV?

Not so easy, even if our people can get booked on cooking, and gossip shows, like the view, it’ll be extremely hostile, and after they walk off stage at the end, another half hour of idiots like Whoopi trash talking about you about how evil the GOP is.

We can do vastly better, but even access isn’t a silver bullet, when the hosts popular with the audience are snarling at you..

I admit though, even though I’m not a big O’Reilly fan, his The View appearance was priceless when he verbally slapped down Behar.

Juan Williams is the political equivalent of the one guy in a bar who asks a girl to dance, she says “no,” so he begins to ask the round table of her female friends sitting alongside her….one after another, after another….until there are no more left to say no.

    In other words….absolutely clueless.

They WANT to believe it so badly that they WILL believe it. It’s such a dreadful thing for them to have the deficiencies in the system pointed out to them. Hey let’s delay Obamacare for a year. OH MY GOD, why are you pressuring Obama to hurry up and launch a crappy website?! I watched Elijah Cummings trot this same crap out to Wolf Blitzer this afternoon. His was more like, well, you know, the Republicans didn’t help us improve the law.

They had a 2500 page health care law written within a few months of his immaculation, but they can’t have a website going after almost 4 years and $600 million?

Only to a Democrat is this excusable.

    • BAW

Talk is cheap and easy it’s what the left does. It’s all they do.

Making something work, accomplishing anything, being responsible – those are not things they know. That’s all crazy RWNJ stuff.

      • Drewdxbarry

        Nailed it!
It is as simple as that.

        Thank you

    • MurphTacular

That’s rewriting history – a bit. I think they held off on a lot of this type of work while waiting to see if the Supreme Court would uphold it, which didn’t transpire until June 2012. Then, the White House had to get itself re-elected (and hope the Democratic majority returned in the Senate), so then after all THAT, it was all systems go. I think they should have done different aspects in multiple phases. Any programmer can tell you testing isn’t worth much when you’ve got a drop-dead deadline. B/c no matter what happens during your tests, you’ve still got to be ready …

      • ObamaFail

They didn’t even test the website until 6 days before it was to become active and open for business. Instead of testing it months ago where they had months to work out the bugs, they test it 6 days, find out it can’t even handle 100 people, then they just shrug and think, “Meh, we’ll put it up as is, if people get mad, we’ll just blame Republicans.”

        • MurphTacular

Thanks Gary: What’s your source for the six-day prior testing and the ‘can’t even handle 100 people’ result? I’m not doubting them, I just haven’t heard those numbers before …

          • ObamaFail

There ya go, chief. They only tested it within a week of launch, and now they want to blame the GOP because admitting they screwed up is something not one Democrat is brave enough to do. This article doesn’t mention the 100 people thing, and I can’t remember where I read it, otherwise I’d provide a link to that as well.

Now My question is: Where do the libs get their information that “everything is going fine!” Oh, that’s right. Obama lies to their faces and they eagerly lap it up even though the facts prove that Obama is lying.

          • 1389AD

Besides that, you can’t test/fix security, reliability, and scalibility into a system at the end – it has to be designed into it from the beginning.

      • bidentime

That’s about the most asinine explanation yet. Turdtacular even.

Children must be taught to accept responsibility for what they do. They must learn the consequences of their mistakes. It’s not a natural instinct, denial, blaming others comes naturally. If no one teaches the lessons obviously children grow up to be lefties. They learn a lot of other things can seem rational and relatively bright but they are determined not to accept responsibility and simply shift blame.

    • Bill Phillips

Obama < < < The man-child who would be king!

      • BAW

But that could just be a faulty impression I got from Hollywood. But still I have a hard time imagining any leader, of any age, being as divisive and childish as our President.

  • neoface

Obviously Juan Williams’ man crush on Obama has made him dumb and blind. Does his wife know Juan is gay???

  • Axelgreaser

DID HE SAY THAT!? I WOULDN’T KNOW…every time we see or hear Williams we hit our default channel and flee Fox. Fox’s cadre of mostly nasty, lying, bigmouthed liberal obfuscators elevate the blood pressure far too high for comfort and who knows if any of us are insured these days, you know? So no more O’Reilly book infomercials, (three weeks ‘clean and sober’ there) absolutely no Jehmu, especially no offensive Sally and no more (PLEASE) Juan Williams who has squatted long enough. And btw, FOX is way too safe for an organization that presents itself as edgy, WAY too soft for the times, considering who is in the White House. Not investigative enough, and sheltering off into soft tabloidy topics. Brett Baer may be the most daring of the evening segment. Enough ‘I told you so’ has been spent on the horrendous Obama CrapCare rollout, lets get back to the real Obama scandals: the IRS in particular. We want news, ie, explaining why they are not going after Sarah Hall Ingram? Were is Issa on Benghazi? Or at least telling us whom exactly are all of these shadowy mystery women in the Obama administration. The most lawless, scandalous, repulsive White House in decades deserves to have its cage rattled. I haven’t heard one word about Jarret in a year! Have we defunded the Muslim Bro’hood for certain? Why do we still fund NPR? I’m sort of liking Megyn Kelly (tho she was more aggressive at noon), Hannity and FBN, Cavuto, Dodd, Judge Jeanine (superb!). But Fox is using the same Obamabot talking heads over and over and its becoming a bore. The most dictatorial President since Cuba’s Castro (look what he’s doing to whistle blowers) and we get an hour of his flop O’CrapCare rollout baloney! Come on, stop being afraid of King Obama. Or did all of FOX get tapped and bullied like Rosen and the AP?

    • neoface

I feel most of the time FOX helps to promote the liberal agenda by having these liberal imbeciles on as well as being repetitive. If people tell the truth then it is fair and balance, FOX doesn’t need delusional morons on to make it balance. I love Judge Jeanine, Obama needs to be tied to a chair and listen to the Judge’s talking point weekly, but not sure if that would help Oblamer.
I wonder if there is a way to force LSM back being a watch dog rather than a Oblunder’s lapdogs, or just useful idiots.

They had 3 years and a half billion American tax payer dollars and they couldn’t get it done. Now they are going to scrap it and spend more American tax payer dollars to try and get it functioning well enough – that it stays online long enough to get the few 10,000’s ability to signup.

There is nothing but massive waste connected to ACA so called Obamacare, and not one Republican – GOP’er voted for it.

He play’s “spades” with Reggie and his boy.

I had to find a photo of Juan Williams, Mary K. Ham’s favorite punching bag, and that ‘look’ she often lays on him. O’Reilly apparently shares her sentiments.

  • gman213

So according to Juan Williams it was more important to put a dress on this turd to make it look good so the republicans wouldn’t have political fodder. Lets not be concerned about all of the American people who have received cancellation notices and are desperately trying to enroll. Ahhh…serving the people again huh?

I’m certain MSNBC is looking for another “tingle up my leg anchorman”. Not sure why FOX picked up NPR’s discard. I mute him whenever he is on, his liberal garbage is really over the top. Actually all liberals trying to defending the indefensible-Oblamer these days have the same stupid look.

  • gastorgrab

    Bad Karma can affect programming????

  • Juan_Freeman

And for that astute analysis FOX News is spending $2 million per year on Mr. Williams’ salary? I can laugh because, unlike taxes, a portion of the money was not taken from me under threat of violence. Truth be told, I have mostly tuned out from FOX News since they have increased their water-carrying efforts for RINOS.

The always reliable Obama ass kisser Juan Williams.

  • Rick Bowser

Every once in a Blue Moon, Juan Williams will show a nugget of common sense. Unfortunately, this kind of Horse Manure is pretty much par for the course for Mr. Williams!

  • CasualMeyhem

“Those Darn Republicans” are about half the population. Adapt or don’t Mr. Williams, but nobody is going anywhere.

  • Malcolm Reynolds

‘the “excruciatingly embarrassing” rollout of the website on those darned Republicans and their “massive opposition.”‘
I can say with the confidence of 15 years of professional software development under my belt that not once have I ever logged a bug caused by ‘massive opposition’.

  • cathylovesyou

Juan Williams is trying too hard in his liberal roll and is coming off rediculous.
He shouldn’t spout liberaism just for the sake of it. Kirsten Poweres does a better job, Bob Bickel is a clown and well played. He is Doctor No and like playing the part no matter how annoying he is to us. I just have to shut him off, sorry 4.

What did anyone expect when legislation covering one sixth of our economy is 100 percent partisan. I applaud and support ANY opposition to Obamacare. Our politicians MUST come to a consensus on something of this magnitude with pretty decent bipartisan support ….OTHERWISE YOU GET WHAT WE HAVE TODAY….a train wreck. I blame the “leader” Obama and Harry Reid the most….since it was a left idea. THERE ARE numerous ways to actually IMPROVE healthcare…that WOULD HAVE bipartisan support.
