While an empty chair was the perfect metaphor for President Obama’s first term in office, it doesn’t really capture what might be the greatest accomplishment of his second. Would it be too much to add an empty chair behind the Barrycade?

The only problem: what would the National Park Service use to block it off during the next government shutdown?

  • Jake Wilde

Put an EBT card on there somewhere and it is complete.

Are you saying we should get sentimental every time we flush? This 0’thing…

      • Ramone Love

Wishful, perhaps. Until January 2017, when we (hopefully) can bid farewell to this small, petty, vindictive prick.

        • ObamaFail

And hopefully he’s not replaced by his female counterpart, Hillary Clinton.

          • E Quilibrate

Female? Crazy assumption. Have you seen something the rest of us haven’t.

          • ObamaFail

I guess I was going by everyone calling Hillary a “she”, but if Bill Clinton wouldn’t sleep with her, it’s hard to tell if she’s really a woman.

        • E Quilibrate

There ya go w/the man parts thing again, it just ain’t

by the time this is all over, obama will be gradually forgotten in damnatio memoriae (historical deletion) as America struggles to recover from what he did to Us, his name & horrific socialist “legacy” scrubbed in disgrace from every ghetto school it’s already over the doors.
obama will never have a monument in America, just a page full of destructive failures and criminal charges America got him on.
…the greedy narcissistic sociopath will be lucky if he doesn’t wind up like Saddam or Mussolini, at the end of his rope.

    • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

…But, but, but, his sycophants say…’he’s America’s first black president’…and, and, and ‘he was just lookin’ for a legacy’.

Yeah, for sure in his sick sick mind! Because he’s not America’s first black president, he’s bi-racial; and he is the one that decided to say he was black because it would better serve him.
He will always linger in ‘our book of legacy’s for really sick Marxist megalomaniacs’, as the below quote out of his autobiography is seared in our minds…

      Obama on White Folks Greed…
Taken from his book and in his own words: “Dreams From My Father” page 158 of 235 PDF Form:

“It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day
than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year,
where white folks’ greed runs a world in need,
apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…
That’s the world! On which hope sits!
…State Dept buys $70k worth of Obama’s books to tell the World White Folks Greed Runs a World In Need

      • Jay Stevens

“… and ‘he was just lookin’ for a legacy’.”

        He has found one.

    • Texas_gal_4ever

I hope we never go back to a revolution like that. I don’t wish death on Any president. but Impeachment… is an option.

      • Graham Shaw

No it isn’t, it requires a 2/3 majority of the senate, Either through willful ignorance or (worse) solidarity the democrats will refuse to impeach. 2014 is also a lost cause the democrats spent the last 50 years slowly growing an underclass that would support them at all costs.

They new a sad truth of human nature, hatred for someone else often overcomes ones sense of self preservation. In other words I don’t care if I’m miserable as long as the rich are even more miserable.

It’s over, we’ve lost there is no legal way that we can save the republic.

        • Zane Henry

and in other news, Bill Gates has doubled his wealth in this horrible economy over the last 5 years. The super wealthy just love it when Dems trash the economy.

    • QWYS (Hydralisk of the Swarm)

I’m sorry, but The Hindmost will have a monument; the economic ruins of the Nation. And if he is not stopped, the social and political ruins as well.

  • GaryTheBrave

It should be taller. It should be embedded in a thick wall. It should have a huge lock on it. It should have him on the other side peering out wearing stripes or orange.

“Would it be too much to add an empty chair behind the Barrycade?”

No, it’d be the most fitting monument ever for that doofus.

    • WhoMeToo

And a sign that says ==> SHUTDOWN

    • E Quilibrate

The doofus contingency would like to lodge a complaint against you.

I propose a cow statue made of gold, surrounded by Greek columns.

    • GaryTheBrave

That would be a monument to Moochelle.

  • disqus_BktOMwqkBg

I propose a hollow statue standing in front of a mirror for the Obama memorial.

With any luck, this is the fate that awaits any Obama Monument (I bristle at the mere mention of such a thing, but anyway, in the unlikely event…):

  • http://www.theretaildetail.us/ Amy Barnes

My proposal for a presidential monument is a trash can with a shredder and a sign saying “civil and constitutional rights go here” on the shredder and the can has a sign saying “your money goes here.”

  • John Howard

    It’s ObamaGate!

    • Deborah Hallsted

  • PhotoDr

Everyone print up stickers that say “In Honor of President Barack Obama” and stick them to the barricades :)

  • ObamaFail

I’d go with a picture of Obama depicted as a small child stomping his foot and holding his breath until he gets his way instead. It fits him better.

  • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

What? Was a monument of a man with his head up his ass already taken?

    • E Quilibrate

      Nicely done.

  • Margie Ryan

The President that the media want to celebrate for breaking down barriers is going to be most remembered for putting up barriers.

    • Deborah Hallsted

      Brilliant comment

  • E Quilibrate

Wouldn’t a couple of bicycles stanchioned in the barrycade be appropriate?

  • Jay Stevens

    I see two possibilities:
    1. Obama is doing the very best he can, or
    2. He is providing easily exceedable goals for the next black president.

    • ObamaFail

I hope the next black President is Republican, that way when the libs start throwing racial slurs at him, we can throw all of the phony accusations of racism they make at Conservatives right in their faces.

    • neoface

Sorry, I think Obama has burned the bridge, there will never be another black president, at least not one that seals his records. LOL!!!!!

    • Deborah Hallsted

Or trying to start a pattern of civil disobedience. That “needs” to be put down.

  • Scorpion

You won’t need a barricade for this monument.
Sorry Ramone, I missed your post.

  • right_on

Give it time…the Barrycades will be not be complete until they are adorned with coils of concertina…

  • AZWarrior

I would rather it be a little more, um, medieval. Something with a sharp point.

    • I_Vote

Such as a suddenly activated conscience? Now, that would be justice.

      • AZWarrior

        Ouch! Good one IV.

  • neoface

I can’t believe LSM condones Barrycades at WWII memorial. If they don’t cover it then the low information people are clueless. How low and spiteful can that Obamaturd get???

    • MagPie

B b b b but the LSM would only say it is thr GOPs fault.

  • I_Vote

His deletion from history will be sufficient monument. Along with revocation of all the perks and privileges after he leaves (voluntary or involuntary) public office.

  • http://www.jabootu.com/acolytes/bnotes/ Apostic

Barrycades can go around gated communities called Obamavilles.

  • Finrod Felagund

  • Spinmamma

I just wish he would fold up his empty card table chair and get the heck out of town.

  • Deborah Hallsted

This is one monument that’s safe from vet’s!

  • http://www.davidsmusings.com/ David

His monument is a burning U.S. Embassy to symbolize Benghazi.

  • Crap Daddy

“what would the National Park Service use to block it off during the next government shutdown?” A bigger concern would be how are we going to keep WWII vets from pissing on it?

    • AZWarrior

Oh I think the long long line to piss on it would discouraged a few. :-)

  • marcellucci

I was thinking more along the lines of a skinless chicken……

  • Kurt Hess

To better capture the Obama Administration vibe they need to install the barrier in front of a stone wall.
