We have to wonder just how many Americans are going to need treatment if what Sally Kohn says is true. What would give Republicans, and the rest of the country as well, the idea that President Obama is the one who refuses to negotiate?

Could it be the interview where he says he won’t negotiate?

[youtube=http://youtu.be/FYI_Hoy-XdM?t=1m3s]

The White House tweet that confirms that he won’t negotiate?

Could it be the reports by the Washington Post, AP, Reuters, and just about every other news outlet this week?

    • DonaldsaysINGODITRUST

I think she believes that most people will believe EVERYTHING they’re told by anybody in the Lame Stream Media or the current administration despite incontrovertible proof (such as video of Obowtome saying the exact opposite of what she’s saying) and will continue to believe what they’re told when they’re told it, until they’re told to believe something else.
“Well, I heard Obowtome say this with my own ears, but Sally said he DIDN”T say that, so they both must be telling me the absolute truth” or so the lib logic goes.

  • TocksNedlog

    Sally Kohn is lying?!
    .
Hmmm, must be a day that ends in “-day”.

    • right_on

No, no! It’s all those lying Republican’s who have gone on TV for five years and complained that their requests to meet with Obama have been refused or unanswered! Remember, the GOP invited Obama to their retreat, he showed up, they handed him a portfolio of ideas to help the economy, then he turned around and lambasted them as “idea-less” at the SOTU speech?

Even after he told Eric Cantor at an early term negotiation: “Uh…I won!”, the GOP made efforts at negotiating. But it wasn’t Obama who went…he sent the human gaff machine, Biden to lecture them.

Sally is nothing more than a bloviating socialist, who wants to enrich herself before the socialist policies collapse the American government. She, like other socialists, are great at blaming others for problems they’ve caused, but refused to take responsibility for.

I could care less about Kohn’s sexual preference, but I do care that she is part of a larger group that is counting on the progression of America into a deviant, corrupt, compulsion-driven, manipulated, dependent state, overseen by Marxists, and socialists.

  • Axelgreaser

I GET SO SICK OF THIS TALL, GAWKY YOUNG MAN. Who is he? Why is he on my screen all the time, screeching like a 12 yr old? And further more, this young man should not be accusing others of being ‘mentally ill’, perverse or deviant, if you get my drift. Clean up your own house first, you know? That is a cheap shot and I’ve noticed he does a lot of that. Bolster a fantastical, unsubstantiated remark with snark which has been the prevalent modus operandi since our bi-sexual President took office. Snit fits and the sticking out of tongues. • DonaldsaysINGODITRUST

So it IS perfectly acceptable to tell Obowtome to “go reproduce in a biologically acceptable, asexual, single cell manner, and include his equine mode of conveyance he arrived on, to be included in the process as well?” I hope so, because I’ve been telling him to do that specific for years now! And for you lib’s who don’t understand what that means, ask a home schooled fourth grader to explain it to you, because kids taught in the public schools and colleges won’t have any idea what that means.

Gosh, after 5+ years the man finally opts not to negotiate with the party who on the very first day of his presidency declared their top priority to be destroying his presidency? And worse, doing that at a moment when we had been plunged (by GOP deregulatory policy and Greenspan monetary madness) into a near global depression.

After a tepid Obama caved to them negotiating on Taxes, HCR and countless other first term attmepts, and offered “Grand Bargains” all through the last debt limit fight only to have the GOP retract what Boehner had initially demanded once Obama agreed to it, you actually fault him for finally saying no?

There’s refusing to negotiate and there’s refusing to negotiate with nihilistic political terrorists who have burned you 30 times before. Thanks primarily to the TeaBillies, not once has the GOP dealt with this administration in good faith – to be a responsible legislator who tried to come to a constructive compromise for the good of the country would enrage the anger addicted GOP base and invite a primary from someone even nuttier. Thanks, TP.

If you think about, isn’t that how ALL lib’s and Dim’s operate all the time? They don’t come in contact with things like truth, facts, or contrary evidence to what they believe, instead, they only believe in and understand what they WANT to, which was already there going in, and don’t have the mental capacity to learn, adapt or accept anything else. And you’re right Sue, more and more RINO groups are adopting this way of thinking too. God save this country from lefty’s, libs and RINO’S (although that’s a bit redundant, all three groups are almost exactly the same anyway)

There should be no need to negotiate over bills already passed into law. Get over it Republicans. The ACA is happening. It was passed by congress, signed into law by the President and upheld by the Supreme Court. Stop this nonsense and pick another fight. But you won’t; you have no real ideas because you have grown stale and out of touch. And the root of your argument is this: 30 million people in this country should not have access to healthcare. As for defaulting on our bills? You won’t let that happen either, so cut the charade. How dare a political party suggest that citizens not obey the law. Rediculis.

    • KB Dave

I love how Dems keep bringing up the “default on our bills” as if that’s really what the GOP wants. This whole battle is over trying to delay the ACA so that it can be fixed, instead of foisted upon the American people as the huge turd it is now. The ACA is a terrific idea in principle, but it needs a lot of refinement before it goes into effect, or it will cause more harm than good.

Actually, if you know anything about the Constitution, it cannot be a law. The federal governments powers are “few and defined”, this is not one of those defined. The power to interfere into our daily lives was reserved exclusively to the several states.

    • DHiles

Nice Dem talking point recitation there Mikey

    • drw

Wow dude, you should really try to keep up. The administrative and legislative branches of our government were intended to work with each other in order that the actual “will of the people” was followed. That will was usurped by both branches when the ACA was surreptitiously passed by the congress through manipulation of the system and signed into law by a president who has no understanding of the limits intentionally placed on his powers. This, not being enough however, the judicial branch decided to join in and actually re-write the law (which they have absolutely zero power to do) such that they could say it is constitutional (which it isn’t). That said, the legislative branch holds the “power of the purse”, what that means is that they get to decide to whom and for what purpose monies belonging to the government (or more properly the citizens of the U.S.) are dispersed. So, here’s the rub, if congress says no, odrama can stomp and kick and whine all he wants but, he still won’t be able to “write that check”. As to the propaganda espoused by the libs, are you actually that dense? First, its not about health “care” it never was. It’s about health “insurance”. There IS a difference I assure you. Secondly, no one can be denied health care in this country regardless their ability to pay. It’s been that way as long as I can remember. Your heroes in the government wrote this damnable legislation in order to gain more power over your daily life. There was no other reason. It astounds me how incredibly stupid people can be. And by-the-way, its actually spelled ridiculous.

    • J. Cox

      http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/cbo-uninsured-under-obamacare-never-falls-below-30-million_733740.html

Maybe if you removed your lips from Obama’s nether regions, you could look around and grasp a clue.

      But I doubt it.

    • alanstorm

“How dare a political party suggest that citizens not obey the law. Rediculis.”

Oh, that’s rich, seeing how Obama is refusing to enforce laws he doesn’t like. Try again with a valid argument.

    • Jeff Coil

The ACA was never actually passed by congress. The Democrats used a parliamentary trick and “deemed it to have passed” without actually allowing a vote, which it would have FAILED.

It was not “upheld by the Supreme Court”. The supreme Court merely said the “individual mandate” was legal because it was a “tax” – something that Obama claimed it wasn’t in order to get it passed.

Every man, woman and child in the US has “access to health care”. There never was a “health care crisis” in America. But with ACA, many hospitals will be shutting down, and plenty of Doctors have announced their intentions to quit. ACA will actually make it harder to access health care in the US, and what care will be available will be sub-standard. Just like in Canada.

And tell me, do you pay your families bills by borrowing and spending even more money? Instead of raising the “debt ceiling”, why don’t we start living within our means as a nation?

  • E Quilibrate

    They are all utterly stupid!

  • Magnifico

He acts as if he had nothing to do with the “bills that have already been racked up”.

We want you to “Pay the Bills”. What we don’t want is you to incur any MORE Bills.

I think in Sally’s former life his name was Stan

    • DonaldsaysINGODITRUST

That’s what he calls himself when the makeup comes off. Or is it when he puts it on? I can never remember. “At this point, what difference does it make?”

  • alanstorm

There are institutions that can help you, Sally – please look into your local “Home for the Chronically Unaware”.

    • drw

Back in the day we used to call them insane asylums or simply belleview if we were feeling charitable.,

      • alanstorm

Yes, but that might upset her delicate feelings.

  • Nadine Faber

Sorry Sally, but I am SURE I heard him continue to say “I will not negotiate” many times so stop defending someone who does not care a rap about anyone but himself. I am tired of people like Sally and several like her defending this corrupt, self-serving administration. They are trying and being successful in destroying the middle class and keeping the poor from climbing out of the poverty levels. I had to live under the Medicaid for my kids, a child in and out of the hospital for 5.5 years because of rationing, incompetent doctors and policies which rewarded my doctors for not doing referrals: they lost funding when they finally sent us to a child’s famous and awesome specialist clinic. Finally got this wonderful children’s clinic, but the compounding of issues and behaviors, stress hurt my family in many ways and my relationships with my children. It took away years where I could have found a job to support my family if we had gotten the care he should have had and now I am TO OLD for many to hire. Someone who thinks he is right at the expense of the entire Nation needs to be tossed out on his butt, this includes those in the Senate and House and any state or governmental run office because this ideology of gutting our economy, our rights, our freedoms to replace it with a dictator they need to go. It is not about health care, it is controlling our health care so they can control us and run the Nation into the ground while doing it so we end up like Detroit.

    The ‘Bizarro World’ of Kohn.

Sally Kohn must be mentally dyslexic…she’s never met a fact she didn’t twist 180 degrees. She is completely and utterly incapable of reading, writing, or speaking truth, it HAS to be a mental aberration.

    So sad.

  • http://Twitter.com/jkerrysforehead John Kerry’s Forehead

What network does he work for and when did network news start hiring teen-aged boys?

  • notenoughtime

Kohn’s rhetoric is off center and obviously utter for the enjoyment of O’s base and minions. Fair minded, free thinking individuals know that O is unable to negotiate since he is incapable of seeing anything other than his agenda. His narcissism and ego make it impossible for him to negotiate since his vision is the only one he sees or cares about.

  • jukin

    Who is this guy?

  • Jim Denney

To paraphrase Dean Wormer in Animal House; butchy, bitchy, and boneheaded is no way to go through life, Sally.

  • AmericanMom

Ignorant Sally not listening to Obama’s own words or reading a newspaper or the internet. Liberals everywhere won’t listen, won’t hear, won’t educate themselves about reality.

  • forgetyoutooo

Wow. Sally you just won the award for the worst attempt at projecting, EVER. Alinsky would not be proud. I am shaking my head and rolling my eyes Kohn-style at your stupidity.

  • Rob Sydney

Just another Obamadrone, brainwashed, sensationalized, twisted, buzzing around spewing out her hatred and misinformation.

  • Piperabby123

Sally, I am very Sorry that what little brain cells you have are Suffering from Lack of Oxygen. You are so Brain washed by the Far Left propaganda I can’t believe that the Insane Asylum released you so soon back into society.

Normally, I find the left’s tremendous ability to do verbal gymnastics amusing, but it is really starting to pi$$ me off.

Are they really that dumb or are they just such good sheeple?

  • Macranthunter

This is the most thorough round of ass-handing I have ever seen.

She is one of the most irrational commentators I’ve seen or heard. This just cemented her position as an idiot.

Thank you Sally for proving once again that the crazy never realize THEY are the crazy ones.

    • Chip

When this snarky dyke REPORTS something that she actually had to RESEARCH, I’ll start paying attention…. but, since she is so much like every other liberal pundit and simply reports her own opinion on other peoples’ actions, I’ll just wait until her 15 minutes are over.

      • Cantbelieveyouthinkthis

15? I think you gave her 14 1/2 minutes too many.

  • Peakview

I have no idea who this person is. Should I? I’m not even wasting a search on her.

  • Larry Rappaport

Do these people actually believe this?

  • pajamakat

When Bill O has this idiot on, I have to change the channel. I cannot stomach her. She is a left, wing lemming hack.

  • GregWhitenerel

This is another Tea Bagger straw man argument. Obama doesn’t need to negotiate because the AFA is the law of the land, passed by Congress and endorsed by the supreme court and the voters who re-elected Obama.
Republicans need to stop the electoral butt hurt and get to work doing the country’s business. Democracy is based on majority rule and if you don’t like it, tough luck. This sabotage act is getting old and traitorous.

    • Raj Arjan

US is NOT a democracy. Also, slavery, prohibition, and Jim Crow were also “the law of the land” at one point. Educate yourself.

      • GregWhitenerel

Is English your second language? I never said America was a Democracy, but you somehow read it that way.
What you just did was make a straw man argument and I’m thankful that you provided the perfect prop for my demonstration of Tea bagger
        Modus operandi.
So you’re comparing the provision of health insurance for people with pre-existing conditions to Slavery, now? WOW!
Maybe you’re the one who needs educating. Since I’m the one with Enslaved ancestors and I’m the one who was born and raised in the Jim Crow South-let me assure you that it’s not the same.
See-I just made a straw man argument. I hope you found this…educational.

        • Jeff Coil

With every post you demonstrate you hate and ignorance. Where did you get the idea that English was not Mr. Arjan’s first language? You an anti-immigrant bigot? His sentence structure is better than yours. All you know how to do is use vile disgusting sexual references to demean those that you don’t agree with. Typical libtard modus operandi.

You also really need to work on your reading comprehension. Mr. Afjan is not “comparing the provision of health insurance for people with pre-existing conditions to Slavery (and if you think that is all the ACA does you are truly a hopeless idiot)”. He is pointing out the incredible stupidity of your “Law of the Land” argument.

Slavery was the law. It was a bad law. People fought against it. It was eventually defeated and repealed. Slavery is no longer the “Law of the Land”. So too the ACA is a bad law. We have every right to fight against it. It can be repealed.

FYI I work in the medical field, and can see first hand the damage ACA is already doing.

          • GregWhitenerel

You’ve lied so much in 2 posts that no one would believe your resume’. You T baggers always say that you see the damage it’s doing BEFORE IMPLEMENTATION. I’m waiting for proof other than “I’m butt hurt after Obama kicked mine in the last election”.

As for Mr Arjan. YOU made the assumption that he was an immigrant-not me. For all I know, he was born here, which makes him as much an American as I who have a dozen generations of ancestors on this continent. I’m quite sure Mr Arjan can defend his own post without help from imbeciles who compare the affordable care act to White Supremacist American Apartheid Jim crow.

For future reference, Your precious “Founding Fathers” set this nation up to be governed by Law not by butt hurt Republicans who have shut down the government again after losing an election in which the AFA was the pivotal issue AND validated by the supreme court. Hope you have a flight to catch. The federal airplane inspectors are out of work. Oh and the new phrase for you creeps is Banana Republicans in honor of the Rethuglican vision for the future of the USA. Move over Somalia-make room for the US on the back of the non functioning nation bus.

    • Jeff Coil

That “Law of the Land” bullshit is getting old too. Laws can, and have been, modified or nullified. Hell, slavery was once enshrined in our Constitution. And Obamacare was NOT “endorsed by the voters”. Check the polls yourself – the vast majority of Americans, including many Democrats, are opposed to it.

      • GregWhitenerel

You’re lying. Forbes magazine, not your typical leftist site, reports that “Voters believe, by a margin of 66-33, that the 2012 election “represented a referendum on moving forward with implementation of the 2010 health care law.” Only 1/3 of Americans support repealing, defunding or delaying implementation.
The Democrats who oppose it oppose it because it doesn’t go far enough. they wanted a Single Payer plan. Not like Republicans who oppose it because they simply want the old and the poor to hurry up and die.
You don’t like the Law of the Land? fine. There ARE other options.

        • Jeff Coil

Check the Pew research polls. Even the Union leaders have come out against Obamacare. The ACA is driving up the cost of health insurance significantly. Over 500 million children will loose coverage because of it. You need to educate yourself.

“Not like Republicans who oppose it because they simply want the old and the poor to hurry up and die.” – That ignorant statement alone proves the depth of your biased hate and complete stupidity.

Yes, there are “options” if one does not like the “Law of the Land”. Rosa Parks exercised one such option when she defied the “Law of the Land” that required her to sit in the back of the bus.

          • GregWhitenerel

You’re either a moron who thinks a nation of 300 million total people somehow includes 500 million children or a liar who is pulling numbers out of thin air.Which is it?

Dude! I’m not the guy that sat beside you on the short bus.
When people are asked about Obamacare, support is 46%. when asked about the AFA, support is closer to 60%. You T baggers are playing word games with the public. You hate Obama so much, you’re willing to keep letting people die for lack of insurance to prove a point. That’s pathetic and immoral.

Now you want to equate White Supremacy/Apartheid to Affordable Health care? You’re lucky they don’t require a threshold IQ to post on this site, because if they did, you would never be heard from.

  • Acethepug

Apparently, Sally Kohn is illiterate and ignorant. I mean, Obama already actually SAID he wouldn’t negotiate, but that was apparently too subtle for Kohn to grasp …

  • Level999

She should get a place in line.

  • GulfPundit

Well, you can’t rely on one word that comes out of Obama’s mouth, so maybe that’s what she means.

  • JGPA

    Who is this guy, anyway?
