The organizer of this afternoon’s immigration reform rally outside the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus can take consolation in knowing the event dwarfed OFA’s attendee-free climate change rally that wasn’t.

Reporter Jesse Hathaway managed to get up close to the action to grab some photos; check Media Trackers Ohio on Tuesday for more angles on this underreported rally, as well as OFA Westerville’s same-day press conference with representatives of Mayors of Illegal Guns. We’re told that event was actually smaller.

Uh oh, somebody forgot to advertise, hire and pay for attendees!

With the multitudes that have gathered, the anti-amnesty crowd will be shaking in their boots.

    Oh wait.

Why don’t these losers just take these illegal aliens, and have them live in their homes?

Also, they must have full access to their money, insurance, car, and refrigerator at all times. Kicking them out is not allowed, no matter what. They then must forcibly adopt them as family members.

“Why don’t these losers just take these illegal aliens, and have them live in their homes?”

Wouldn’t they have to have homes of their own first?

Upshot for the Left? It’s twice as many as an OFA anti-gun rally.

By the way, when do you think OFA will throw a rally supporting Obama going into Syria? Will they coordinate with Code Pink, Hollywood and the other self-righteous hypocrites?

  • trixiewoobeans

I always said Liberals were no fun at parties. They can’t even stand to hang with each other!

John Boner: you should take notice.

  • ElmoS

Well, if you think that was bad, Bloomberg and his anti-gun rally in Col, Ohio today had 6 people speaking for his registration of our guns. The Pro-Gun folks Buckeye Firearms and NRA had about 100 people there. Bloomberg and his people should quit trying to attack the gun rights of citizens and try to go after the criminals who are doing the crimes and killing the people with their illegal guns. Criminals don’t register their guns and Bloomberg knows it.

    • Adela Wagner

Not as many dumbazz’s here in Ohio as these Lib/Progs think there are. Down here in Adams county I hardly saw any Obama signs last election.

    • trixiewoobeans

Bloomers & Co. are scared to death of the bad guys…they’re afraid to deal with them. The cowards and bullies would rather punish the innocent, law-abiding citizens. Easier to get away with that.

    • Rusty Shackleford

The thing is he’s not against illegal guns. He’s against citizen gun ownership period. Can’t take an armed man’s big gulp by force now.

Blacks are catching on to the fact Immigration Bill is their demise.

    • Ronald Steven Goldston

why? will the immigrants be harder working in the way they commit crimes, therefore be first in getting to a limited number of crime victims?

  • BoscoBolt

This news makes obama’s top AMNESTY pusher, Marco Rubio, cry :(

  • TocksNedlog

What, was Sandra Fluke scheduled to speak there?

    • bungopony

She spends $3000/yr on contraception-THAT woulda been a sausagefest!

  • mr_bad_example

5 of the 6 were illegals paid $4.25 @ HR by OFA to be there!

One year ago, there were massive turn outs at Romney rallies, Chick-fil-A Day, and anywhere our Sarah turned up. This year, we’re seeing the same upbeat crowds for Ted Cruz and so on.

Meanwhile, rallies for these libbie causes can’t fill an SUV, their TV ratings are tanking, and the only way you can get people to show up for anything is to give them a t-shirt and bus them in. AND being able to vote without an ID is a really, really big deal to them.

Now, PLEASE: Explain to me how they possibly could have won last November without cheating.

I was at the MN State Fair today. There were separate booths for the Republican Party of MN, the MN Tea Party, the Libertarian Party and the Constitution party. I talked to all of them except the Constitution Party (although they did give me a free Constitution booklet). There seemed to be quite a bit of support for the Republican party. It was encouraging to see people getting involved.

I was hoping the Minnesota Tea Party would be organizing an event to go along with the September 10th Defund Obamacare rally in D.C., but they are not.

When I talked to the people at the Republican party of MN, I told them I am a conservative, not simply a republican. I told them we can’t continue to support moderate Republicans who are unwilling to fight for our Republic.

I was particularily interested in what the Libertarian party representative was talking about. He said they are really pushing for a Libertarian candidate. I don’t think this is the right way to go in MN. We tend to lean blue, so electing a republican is an uphill battle to begin with, but then most likely any votes going to the Libertarian candidtate will just be votes taken away from the Republican candidate.

Anyway, I think there is hope for the next election. I see people getting motivated to stop the disasterous path our nation is on.

I see EIGHT loyal Obama voters in that picture above.

They DIDN’T win without cheating. In fact, there was MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD.

Well technically they’re right. its an infinity % increase from the climate one! it CLEARLY shows the will of the people!!!!!

The Union bus drivers must have been on strike. SEIU couldn’t bus the “crowds” to the event.

  • Karl Winrich

Kind of belies the media with their polls claiming that a majority of Americans are in favor of immigration reform.

    • MNWoman

I really think when people hear the term immigration reform, they are assuming it means fixing the problem of illegal immigration.

If people are not following the developments of the immigration reform debate, there is nothing in the wording “immigration reform” that would suggest the law grants amnesty or a path to citizenship.

Using the phrase immigration reform is intentionally deceptive. It should be called “Well, we may possibly fix the problem with the border, but we aren’t promising anything. However, in the meantime, we will allow the millions of people who have blatantly violated our immigration and border laws to stay here and give them the opportunity to gain citizenship”.

Tomorrows rally will be held at the sheltered bus stop.

  • Judy Taylor

The left only gets turnout for their causes when they pay protestors. That’s why Nancy Pelosi kept repeating that the Tea Party is “astroturf”. Their side can’t imagine that people would show up – for free – because of principles. They don’t understand principles because they have none.

    • Charles Hammond Jr

      Well put and well said.

  • lisanemo

So I tell my guy, “Here’s another rally protest thing for….and this time only six people showed up.”.
He said, “But Obama was there?”
I replied, “No, but I think an empty chair was for him.”

  • Magnifico

    HeLLLLLOOOOO, Rubio!

  • IceColdTroll

They got their message out and everyone felt very empowered.

/I’ve heard that one before about flopfests like this.

  • Terry

I think the 3 people in the left side of the photo weren’t part of the protest, they were trying to get out of the picture.

  • Cindy Munford

Does the Speaker get these news items? I can’t imagine why giving a pass to lawbreakers on the citizen’s dime isn’t garnering more support. Odd.

  • gman213

What you don’t see is the 300 cops being paid overtime for crowd control

  • Jacobb Chapman

That’s because people are starting to turn their backs on Obama after realizing he tells a lie every time his lips move. Most Americans don’t support amnesty.

Still amazes us that they yet are to figure it out…
