The Washington Post’s story about the NSA’s thousands of FISA violations, or “incidents,” is embarrassing enough to the administration, but the Post has revealed that the White House attempted to swap in its own prepared statement to replace an interview with John DeLong, the NSA’s director of compliance.

Reporter Barton Gellman says he agreed to let the NSA review the results of his interview with DeLong, but spokesmen for the White House and NSA instead scrapped the entire interview and sent along their own prepared statement for publication in its place.

Will Edward Snowden be getting some company?

Giving Valerie jarrett the finger! About time to push back the curtain and see the politico banshee screwing this ish up.

    • Elaine

And they mock us constantly for calling it the “State Run Media.”

  • TJ

The ink is not even dry and Jeff Bezos turned the WaPo into a right wing rag and racist for not doing what Obama wants. They will be pushed like a rodeo clown.

    • Michelle

That’s a fantastic new line and one that should be made frequent use of, “punished like a rodeo clown” Bravo!

      • Night Owl

On Breitbart, everyone was calling that woman in TX who did the filibuster on abortion “Abortion Barbie” for her Vogue layout.

        • TugboatPhil

She prefers to be called “Late Term Abortion Barbie.”

          • OLLPOH ~ America

          • Magdalene51

            Why not just “Murder Barbie”?

          • robert anthony

Kids used to use scissors to cut Barnie’s hair…now they use ’em to take care of Barbie’s ‘uterine infections’.

        • Agent Carmichael

Libtards actually think she could be Governor. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

      • trixiewoobeans

Let’s make it rhyme, like, “rode out of town like a rodeo clown.”

        • Michelle

I already have the giggles over an unreal exchange on another Twitchy post, and then reading this just made me laugh some more! But to make it more accurate, let’s say, “Kicked out of town like a rodeo clown” (since the clown was banned from fairs in Missouri)

          • trixiewoobeans

            Works for me.

          • RLEE

So now we tell are kids behave or your going to get kicked out off town like a rodeo clown?

If Ben Bradlee had accepted these kinds of conditions from the Nixon Administration, no one would have ever heard of Watergate

I guess not everyone does propaganda on command as easily as Candy Crowley.

Did Bezos actually take off the dog collars?

    • Kakarot

Has Bezos actually taken over yet? Or is still still in the negotiation/signing stage? Anyone know?

This could be one last good-bye gasp of “see, we could have done real reporting if we wanted” from the outgoing drones.

  • skhpcola

It’s too late for the WaPo to try to act as if they have any integrity. They’ve proven themselves unworthy of trust and respect long ago and are just another propagandist tool for the left. This isn’t pushback, it’s a feeble attempt to regain what they threw away by insulting half of their potential customers. Screw WaPo and the MSM lefties…they slept with the D-ogs, now they can scratch the flea bites.

  • JeffWRidge

What did the lefty lapdog media expect? They’ve been letting the Obama team control what the media says about Obama since before the 2008 election. Once you start allowing something like that it’s only natural that the Obama Administration would figure that they had the last word in what was printed about the Administration. You reap what you sow.

    • RLEE

Agree, but it still is interesting to see how it works!!!

    • jacksonjay

The very fact that the WH pushed back indicates that they have been successful at this tactic in the past!

  • Mom_ofthree

Thankfully, I didn’t have any thing in my mouth when I read,” …We keep our overseers informed….” When was the last time ANYONE in this administration (who wasn’t hired as a temporary scape goat) said, YES, I am aware of the problem, I take full responsibility and am willing to take the consequences of my actions….the only thing I’ve heard from anyone, is I’m not sure who is responsible, I’ll have to look into it, and this is the first I’ve heard of it…

  • Axelgreaser

THINGS MUST BE CHAOTIC FOR THOSE PUBLICATONS THAT DOCUMENT LANGUAGE AND DEFINITION, ie, Webster’s Dictionary, The Oxford and Cambridge On Line people, etc., just keeping pace with Barack Obama’s whimsical redefines of such words as ‘terrorists’ and/or ‘terrorism’ plus the added fallout of liberal havens such as are springing up in portions of Washington State where suddenly the word ‘citizen’ requires fiddling with. No wonder it takes foreigner’s so long to master the English language when there are so many ways to convey one thought or word.

  • golftilidrop

Based on everything I have seen from the media since Obama came on the scene, I thought all media stories were proof read and edited by his people before they ran it.
