Sarah Palin appeared on Fox News’ “Cashin’ In” Saturday afternoon to talk Obamacare and death panels, and she backed up her appearance with a Facebook post calling out the mainstream media for getting health care rationing really wrong.

Please see the article linked below. To the “defenders of the truth” in the lamestream media, I’m not sayin’, “just sayin’.”

To our steadfast supporters, let’s always keep our eye on the truth and never back down from ensuring our great country isn’t deceived by what we are told to think by the media or the powers that be. When they get it wrong, they really get it wrong.

We will never sit down and we will never shut up. It isn’t in our DNA and it isn’t what our country was founded upon. The need to question government and address its flaws is incumbent on all people of conscience, and we will never stop defending true and plainspoken facts. There is much more to come, hold tight and keep your resolve.

The linked article in Investors Business Daily notes how Howard Dean and other Democrats are beginning to distance themselves from Obamacare’s Independent Payment Advisory Board, which Dean called “essentially a health-care rationing body” that will frustrate patients and fail to control costs. It also notes how Palin was ridiculed for saying, “We can’t party like it’s 1773,” referring of course to the Boston Tea Party of … 1773.

  • sybilll

Twitchy team, will you please post this humorous take about IPAB that Governor Palin also tweeted? http://conservatives4palin.com/2013/08/4-year-anniversary-death-panels.html I think it’s masterful.

  • trixiewoobeans

Libs have got to get it through their heads that this is going to affect THEM badly, disastrously and permanently! Losing loved ones to remain “faithful” to the one who crafted this is not worth it!

  • Sakemoto

Repost: Obama is now implementing the Independent Privacy Advisory Board (IPAB2) which will be known as the Death Panel of Privacy. Sarah got it right.

  • TocksNedlog

“The wheels FALLING OFF THE BUS go ’round and ’round…”

  • Love of Country

I love Sarah Palin, she’s so inspiring!

  • Sue Lynn

That’s why I only donate to SarahPAC where the rubber meets the road and leaves a smoking loud long burn out!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ICOYAR

Exactly. The media is nothing more than socialist propaganda.

I say out with the old media and in with the new.

  • BlueGood

So GOOD to see Sarah vindicated after so much Bullschit from the LEFT!

    • Adi

Sorry to disappoint, but most of the BS was coming from the RIGHT. Sad but true.

  • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

To all of you who either voted for Obama or else didn’t vote for McCain because “Palin is so stupid,” I hope you have seen what stupid, incompetent and evil has done to the country over the last 5 years.

If you haven’t, then please ______________________________ (fill in your favorite expletive phrase)

    • MNWoman

I promise you, at no point did I ever consider voting for Obama. Heck, I don’t vote for Democrats.

I am hoping we can turn MN red in the coming years. I don’t know that we will ever be truly “Conservative” but even electing a RINO would be better than having Franken or Klobuchar in the Senate.

      • http://pennyrobinsonfanclub.net/ PennyRobinsonFanClub

Friends don’t let friends vote (D).

        • MNWoman

Oddly, my best friend is very liberal. We are total political opposites. I tried very hard to get her to see what a disaster Obamacare (and really, the entire Obama presidency) is, but we just end up getting into a huge argument. We have been best friends since elementary school, but while college made her more liberal, college made me more conservative 😉

          • Garth Haycock

You were able to get through college without getting sucked into the vortex of liberalism because you are capable of critical thought.

It’s a shame that too many young minds are killed on college campuses.

          • MNWoman

Believe me, I did not become more conservative because my professors encouraged it. Rather than trying to teach us how to think critically, they tried to teach us to embrace liberal policies, social agendas, etc. The more my classes encouraged liberalism, the more I questioned what they were teaching.

It’s funny. All students are required to take some social awareness type classes. In some of my classes, the professors were very critical of main stream media, telling us to find independent sources. Of course, this was during the Bush presidency. I wonder what they would think of the media now.

          • objectivefactsmatter

“Rather than trying to teach us how to think critically, they tried to teach us to embrace liberal policies, social agendas, etc.”

            They teach conservatism by counter-example.

          • objectivefactsmatter

Your friend decided to pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

      • Shawn Smith

Is it true that Franken originally got in on illegal felon votes?

        • MNWoman

I don’t know how they would have been able to determine whose votes were whose, but the entire process of counting and re-counting votes was a mess. It is reasonable to assume Coleman might have actually won. After the initial vote count, Coleman did actually have more votes.

But just for the record, while I do think Coleman would have voted no on Obamacare and perhaps would have supported 2nd amendment rights, he is definitely in the RINO category.

      • Junie3

Soros is now involved with The National Popular Vote effort, which could see only 14 states – those with the largest populations – decide the presidency for voters in all 50 states, is fully partnered with a George Soros-funded election group. – See more at: http://kleinonline.wnd.com/2013/07/31/devious-election-plot-bypasses-constitution-strategy-takes-36-states-out-of-voting-decision/#sthash.HuqRhhgg.dpuf

  • NRPax

And for those of you who want to throw out the argument that “private companies ration too!”

Save it. Yes, they do. Because there are certain things that are very expensive and businesses have to calculate things like that. But here’s the main difference: If a private company refuses you, you can go to their competitors. If the government refuses you, you’d best hope you can afford some medical tourism.

    • TDS

Especially once the REAL goal of Obamacare is finally in effect: NO private insurance.

      • NRPax

        Ayup. That’s considered a feature.

      • Bathing Suit Area

You crazy kids crack me up.

        • TDS

You honestly believe that within a few short years years there will be the same number of (or more) people covered by private insurance as there are today, BSA?
You insane Libtards crack me up.

          • Bathing Suit Area

Less private insurance is not no private insurance. Have fun moving those goalposts though.

          • TDS

I never said it would be immediate, dumbass, just the final goal.
Eventually, private insurance will become extinct (or something only available to an elite few), leaving the masses to rely on that tried and untrue government-run health care.
Obviously, that’s MUCH better than the system it’s replacing, right?
            Idiot!

    • V the K

Never understood why progs thought it better to have a Government bureaucrat deny a life-saving procedure because “Your life isn’t worth saving,” than to have a private insurance company deny it because your policy doesn’t cover it?

I think it’s because progs really believed once the Government took over, health care would be free and cover everything.

      • The Penguin

Bingo! More free shit…that’s what it’s all about to them.

      • NRPax

Let me try to explain it.

Private company denies you: “EEEVVVIIILLL company hates poor people and wants grandma to die!!”

Government denies you: *wistful sigh* “It’s for the greater good.”

    • Bathing Suit Area

Obamacare doesn’t prevent you from spending your own money on better healthcare. You can do that in countries with single payer, too.

      • NRPax

If I can already spend MY money on MY healthcare, then why should I be forced to pay into this system?

You can do that in countries with single payer, too.

And then you get case of a British woman whose coverage with NHS was threatened because she wanted to pay for drugs on her own:

        http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/cornwall/7175756.stm

If you think that won’t happen here, you’re naive.

        • Bathing Suit Area

So they’re threatening to take away something you think she shouldn’t have?

          • NRPax

They are threatening to take away a service that she will still be forced to pay for through her taxes under penalty of law. And it was being done because she was spending HER money on HER healthcare.

  • capisce

Sarah Palin could see the train wreck from her house.

  • Axelgreaser

IF EVER A WOMAN SHOULD BE IN AMERICA’S WHITE HOUSE, IT IS SARAH PALIN. It is not too late to right that wrong. She was the one, you idiots!

    • MNWoman

I don’t think she will be elected to the White House, but she is doing an amazing job energizing the conservative grass roots efforts. We need her to continue her advocacy of conservative candidates and conservative issues.

I have no idea what the heck John McCain is thinking lately, but for what it’s worth, he deserves some credit for introducing Palin to all of America.

  • MNWoman

I hope people focus on this issue when discussing the disaster that is Obamacare. The entire Obamacare plan is a catastrophe and should be repealed in full, but until then, focus on areas like this that should give even the most liberal person a reason to stop and think. Then we can build on it and hopefully people will see the many (or total) failures of this bill.

In fact, I am going to send another email to my senators asking them about this. I haven’t seen anything for Franken or Klobuchar hosting town halls, so I will have to contact them with email, faxes or mail.

  • The Jackal

To all you Idiots who voted for
that POS in the White House.
Thank-You. The last 5 years have
    been wonderful.

  • The Penguin

    ^150,000,000 blind mice.^

  • JoeMyGodNYC

“a sneaky 1st step to a single payer system.” Fingers crossed!

    • wwbdinct

You’re a flucking idiot to want that – seriously!! So you’re OK with the ruling class having a better healthcare system than the rest of the peasants who would be burdened with a single payor system? Really Joe?

      • JoeMyGodNYC

“ruling class having a better healthcare system than the rest of the peasants” What a silly response. THEY ALREADY DO.

        • Stu Gotts

What wwbdinct meant was why should we all be Ok with a ruling class that is reserving a better health care system for themselves while forcing the peasants to accept the nightmare of single payer?

          • Joe W.

The troll knows that, Stu…It’s just that it has no clever, liberal spin for that one, yet…

          • Bathing Suit Area

Single payer is a lot better than what “the peasants” have now.

          • Stu Gotts

Bah ha ha ha ha ha. What a moron. “Single payer” will completely ruin our health care system.

You like single payer so much, then lead by example and Move. To. Cuba.

        • Joe W.

And you are just fine with that, right, Broothe?

        • alanstorm

As usual you aren’t thinking. Yes, they have better health care than the majority. So, why are we creating more criminals (that’s what laws DO, if you weren’t aware), and spending additional money to end up with something no better, and likely worse than what we have now?

        • Netmilsmom

Not in America. We all have the ability to go to any hospital ER and get treated. You just have to make payments. My nephew did that for his son. Took him five years to pay the kid off.

          • Bathing Suit Area

Sure, you’re getting the same level of healthcare as presidents do, just by found to the er.

        • Bathing Suit Area

What’s even worse, the ruling class gets their healthcare administered by the government! Eeeek.

      • Joe W.

He thinks they’ll retro-actively cover his HIV for free.

    • Stu Gotts

I suggest you move to Cuba.

      • JoeMyGodNYC

Too hot. How about Canada, Germany, Japan, Australia, Italy, Iceland, Spain, Sweden, Norway, New Zealand, Britain, Austria, Finland, or Italy? All of them (and a dozen others) have single payer AND longer average life expectancies than the United States. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy

        • Stu Gotts

Well it looks like you have many other socialist alternatives. Most Americans, however, understand that socialism is and always has been destined to fail. So knock yourself out. Don’t let the door hit you in the a** on the way out.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

Some of the countries I listed have had single payer for 50-70 years. Some longer. How long are we supposed to wait for them to fail?

          • Stu Gotts

Sounds like a great situation for you. Feel free to move to any of the countries you listed. I’m sure you’ll be much happier there.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

So you don’t have an answer. How shocking.

          • Stu Gotts

I gave you my answer, which was that I see plenty of other countries where you’ll apparently be much happier. I’m sure any of those other places would be quite happy to count you among their citizens. So be my guest, move anywhere you choose.

          • Markward

What are you waiting for, put on your big boy pants and leave for those paradises.

          • Markward

Well, no one is stopping you, unless you’re too scare to venture out of the parent’s basement.

          • Joe W.

You wanna live there?? Move then. NO ONE will miss your limp wristed pansy azz anyway.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

Brilliant riposte. You have wounded me mortally. But since you clearly can’t argue with the actual facts, I understand.

          • Joe W.

Boy, how I wish that were true…….

          • Junie3

What’s the number of their population since it began, how many poor, elderly, what is the life expectancy?

          • JoeMyGodNYC

The WHO has a nifty interactive graph that provides tons of data. (Might take a few seconds to load): http://gamapserver.who.int/gho/interactive_charts/mbd/life_expectancy/atlas.html

          • Palinpower

I know about some of these single payer countries and their health systems. You die in the hallway of the hospital waiting for care. Doctors don’t care, they rely on kickback$ from patients to get treatment and to get pushed in front of the line. My father died in one of those “single payer systems”. So, please shut up when you are ignorant of what you speak of.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

The life expectancy figures prove you to be wrong.

          • Palinpower

LIfe expectancy is not determined by kind of health care system you have. That’s such a simplistic view. There are many variables. And by the way your communist Cuba has a lower life expectancy than the US, and Castro has been there for over 40 yrs.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

Uh, how is it MY “communist Cuba”, exactly? As as for life expectancy, according to the latest WHO figures, Cuba is presently ranked 37th out of the 178 nations studied. The United States is 40th. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy

          • mike_in_kosovo

No, it doesn’t. If you actually *knew* what you were talking about instead of just regurgitating soundbites, you’d know that.

          • Corey Dennison

NHS is failing right now. And Canada’s system only stays afloat because so many of our Canadian neighbors are free to come down here and get the care they wouldn’t get at home.

        • Joe W.

Fine…move there…..You would be making a lot of us quite happy, Thweetheart…

        • AbdullahtheButcher

And higher taxes too, probably. Government is bureaucracy, and bureaucracy is oftentimes rather lacking in efficiency. I myself am not very comfortable with the idea of putting one big bureaucracy in charge of health care.

          • Bathing Suit Area

Insurance companies are of course not bureaucracies at all, and exist only to get you as much care as possible in the most efficient way.

        • The Penguin

          So…go.

        • The Penguin

Less cases of HIV perhaps in those countries Joe?

          • JoeMyGodNYC

Interesting question that made me go look that up. According to the latest year (2011) that figures are available from the WHO, the estimated percentage of people with HIV is at about half of one percent of the population in most of the countries I mentioned. The figure cited for the US is slightly higher at 0.60%. Of course, since the other nations have universal health care, the number that progress to AIDS is far lower than here.

          • Joe W.

Not to mention the other countries usually exterminate their gays.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

            Nope. You’re batting 1.000.

          • The Penguin

            I said HIV. not AIDS.

          • Joe W.

Reading comprehension is not this troll’s strong suit.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

And the figures I cited were for HIV alone. Looks pretty clear to me.

          • The Penguin

            Reread. And yes, it is.

          • The Penguin

Point is this…I don’t care what your lifestyle choice is. It’s not for me to judge. I just don’t want to carry the additional burden with regard to insurance costs because of someone not being smart enough to use a condemn. IE: abortions, HIV, STD’s, whatever.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

The *vast* majority of so-called “lifestyle illnesses” carried by the insurance system are related to obesity, smoking, and alcohol abuse. Again, only about half of 1% of all Americans are living with HIV and as for obesity…well, just look around.

          • The Penguin

I didn’t say just HIV. Although the others you mention shouldn’t be anyone else’s burden either.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

So you don’t think people with obesity-related heart disease should get coverage under Obamacare? Good luck selling that to the Walmart crowd.

          • Joe W.

We don’t think ANYTHING should be covered by Obamacare, Pinhead. We don’t want Obamacare at all.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

As a self-employed small business owner, I am THRILLED that my insurance premium in New York will go down by 50% under Obamacare. More money to donate to Hillary 2016! LOL. http://money.cnn.com/2013/07/17/news/economy/obamacare-health-insurance-new-york/index.html

          • alanstorm

Now we get to the heart of it. Your premiums will drop – for now.

            1) So let’s ignore all the negative effects of O-care, you got yours. You think so, anyway. As an alleged business owner, do you think all the additional taxes and costs will show up in someone ELSE’S ledger? how noble.

            2) You support O-care because it helps you, at least if you focus on one tiny part. Why do you deny that those who it harms have an equal right to oppose it? Oh, right, liberal. Diversity of thought not allowed.

          • Joe W.

So renting out your bath tub in your apartment and calling it a “bath house” is considered a “business” in New York now?? Just like crack dealers in Chitcago are considered “street vendors”, you libiots are so comical. Since New York already had premiums 5 times higher than the rest of the nation, cutting them in half only leaves y’all paying 2 and a half times as much as Texas. And you nit wits consider that a bargain. No wonder y’all are so messed up in that cess pool you infest. Y’all can have it.

          • JoeMyGodNYC
          • Joe W.

Posting outdated numbers from 3 years ago is pointless, madam. You do realize that insurance premiums have skyrocketed, do you not? Oh..that’s right. You’re an imbecile, and you don’t realize anything. But thanks for playing, Zippy. We have lovely parting gifts for you.

          • Stu Gotts

And remember Joe: Sarah Palin Was Right

          • The Penguin

No. I don’t. And Obamacare is an abortion in and of itself. I think if it’s an illness that’s self-inflicted, such as the one’s you and I both mentioned, it should be addressed differently. Higher insurance premiums and out of pocket costs for those individuals. Again, why should everyone have to “flip the bill” for people who make bad choices. Which seems to be the lefts answer to everything.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

So no insurance for fatties. I understand. Who else isn’t worthy?

          • The Penguin

I said higher premiums. Not “no insurance”. Although that was pretty funny.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

OK. Higher premiums. Who gets to decide what “fat” is? That sounds like a job for big gubbermint! Oh noes!

          • The Penguin

How about their PCP’s and insurance companies with oversight? If we had an “honest” government this would work. It would also act as a deterrent so people would have an incentive to take responsibility for themselves and lead a healthier lifestyle. Which, is the important thing here…right? Cure the disease, not the symptoms yo.

          • The Penguin

You prefer the IRS making those decisions?

          • The Penguin

Carry their own weight so to speak.

          • Joe W.

            Gays.

          • Corey Dennison

Good luck selling that to the Walmart crowd.
            Aaaaand there it is.

          • Joe W.

Yep….Let’s start with the sow in the White House…..

        • Corey Dennison

None of which have anything to do with their ‘free healthcare’.

For example, compare cancer survival rates between the US and the UK. Yeah, that’s what I thought.

And Canada does okay with their free healthcare, as long as we’re their backstop. Otherwise, why would their government officials all come down here for treatment?

          Yeah…try again.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

The UK ranks 32nd in the overall survival rate for all cancers. The United States ranks 58th. You were saying?

          • Corey Dennison

            Really?

US Cancer care is #1: http://www.ncpa.org/pub/ba596

And: “UK’s Bad Medicine: Why US Has Better Odds vs. Cancer” : http://www.manhattan-institute.org/html/miarticle.htm?id=3004#.UgccwdYo6Uk

Hmmm…and then there’s this from the UK: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7510121.stm

And I know it really disappoints you to think that the U.S. is better than most other countries in the world, to which I can only say: Suck it.

            You were saying, dumbass?

          • mike_in_kosovo

Wonder if ole Joe read this part of your link…

” Great Britain, known for its 50-year-old government-run, universal health care system, fares worse than the European average: British men have a five-year survival rate of only 45 percent; women, only 53 percent.”

          • Stu Gotts

Then move to Britain. I’m sure you’ll be happier there.

          • Stu Gotts

And don’t forget Joey, Sarah Palin was right.

          • Corey Dennison

Exactly! For all of his huffing and puffing on this thread, his avoidance of the actual topic is admission enough that once again, Sarah Palin was indeed correct.

          • mike_in_kosovo

            The United States ranks 58th

That’s for cancer DEATHS, you idiot…but thanks for showing that the US has appreciably LESS cancer deaths than the UK.

        • mike_in_kosovo

AND longer average life expectancies than the United States

And you think that’s because of single payer insurance rather than individual lifestyle decisions?

Well, I guess that’s why #LowInfoLibs are, well… Low Info.

          • Bathing Suit Area

You really think Canadian, Australian and U.K. lifestyles are really all that different to US ones?

I guess all that cricket and kangaroo riding must burn a lot of calories.

          • mike_in_kosovo

Thanks for proving, yet *again*, that you really *ARE* that stupid.

        • Ironhawk86

You’re more than welcome to move any of those places, @$$h0le

          • Joe W.

I could not have said it better, my friend.

          Citations?

Never mind, as has been pointed out, studies purporting to show this introduce political considerations where none apply (like giving greater weight to more socialist systems) and do not use the same metrics country-to-country. Your argument is invalid.

Also, WE are NOT other countries. Please explain how a single-payer system enacted HERE will be superior.

As an aside, why don’t you move instead of trying to screw things up here? Oh, I get it: Your religion (liberalism) dictates that you are correct, and must correct the ways of the unwashed. The lack of salable skills doesn’t help either.

        • Netmilsmom

My friend in Australia got hit by a car and while she was in the hospital, her leg infected and so them cut 2 inches from both her femurs.
Canadians come to Detroit hospitals in droves, so I’m not sure either of those are good examples.

    • V the K

Because your sure the Government will do the same awesome job with health care as they are doing with the public schools.

    • Stu Gotts

Oh and, one more thing, repeat after me: “Sarah Palin was right about the IPAB Death Panel.”

    • Joe W.

Take those fingers out of your nose first, Twinkles……Oh..and Obamacare don’t cover AIDS…so play safe….LOL

      • JoeMyGodNYC

“Obamacare don’t cover AIDS” What a silly response. Of course it does. In fact, adding currently uninsured people with HIV to health coverage will save the country billions in ER care.

        • Joe W.

So you ass clowns go to the E.R. with emergency AIDS?? Gays are freeloaders as well as morally decrepit vulgarians. Your folks must be so proud…..

          • JoeMyGodNYC

Again, when proven wrong, you resort to infantile insults. Home-schooled? BTW – The majority of uninsured Americans living with HIV are African-American women.

          • Joe W.

And they are another shining example of freeloading wastes of oxygen. You have proven nothing , Butt-boy. And insults are all that you are deserving of. In case you hadn’t noticed, I have nothing but utter contempt for liberals, and you in particular. I wouldn’t let my dog lift his leg to you if you were on fire.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

“freeloading wastes of oxygen” Aaaand there it is.

          • Joe W.

            Yep. Proud “racist” here.

          • Joe W.

Just telling the truth, race baiter. If they were not so lazy, and busy making babies to increase their welfare take, they may be able to purchase health insurance like civilized people. Oh…and there’s that little bit about sexual promiscuity and interveinous drug use they may wish to consider. But that would entail a bit of personal responsibility and self restraint…all foreign to you libiots and freeloaders. And it really does not matter WHAT color one is. YOU are the one who brought up the race of the “victims” you cite. “(@TwitchyTeam—Are you clowns going to delete THIS post as well??? Can we not even criticize black people anymore?? Why is it O.K. for them to criticize white folks and call us “crackers” on Twitchy? You moderators just SUCK”…..

          • Joe W.

For those posters who wonder what my beef is with the pathetic moderators here @ Twitchy, I have had a plethora of post removed for whatever reason. Twitchy never ssys why, they simply delete. Last night, I acknowledged the libiot troll , “JoeMyAzzNYC alluding that I was a “racist” by conceding that I was, and proudly so. That was ALL I had posted on that post and it was DELETED. WHY??? If others want to call me a “racist”, what in the hell is allowing them the pleasure of being correct for once in their miserable lives. This site is as politically correct as the most flaming liberal site on the web. You allow filthy language in the tweets you post and laugh about, yet you restrict responses to the level of “Romper Room”…..I dare you to leave THIS post up. Don’t forget, “Twitchy is forever”…even though my postings may not be…..

          • Joe W.

Thanks for deleting that post again, Moderators. Would you care to explain to me what my violation was? By my agreeing with “JoeNYC” you remove my post??? WTF??? Please explain…if you can…pathetic….I thought Michelle Malkin was a bit more cutting edge than to be so wimpy as you all appear to be.

          • Bathing Suit Area

            It rarely takes him long.

          • alanstorm

You haven’t proved anything, simply made assertions and quoted unreliable sources.

        • alanstorm

“In fact, adding currently uninsured people with HIV to health coverage will save the country billions in ER care.”

Let’s see the numbers of HIV patients that use the ER for health care.

And you claim to own a business? Right.

    • Corey Dennison

Spoken like a good little statist moron.

    • alanstorm

The only real monopsony out there I can point to is the Pentagon. While I admire our foces, holding them up as a model of efficiency is something only a liberal could do. Do you seriously think that a single-payer system is going to be run any better? Justify your answer. Trying the “Other countries pay less and get better results!” gambit is disallowed; we are not other countries, and so-called studies have already been debunked based on their use of political considerations where none are justified and non-uniform metrics.

No, you will have to use reason and thought, two things toxic to liberals.

  • CasualMeyhem

The media is well paid to get it wrong. Anyone surprised?

  • nkthgreek

We’re just seeing the tip of the Obamacare iceberg. The worst is yet to come.

  • Victoria Richardson

The liberals know Sarah Palin is right that’s why they attack her with their hate and vindictiveness.

  • kim

and this is why we do not insist on defunding and allowing a gov’t ‘shutdown’. why let dems blame all on repubs when they really want the same. They wrote it, passed it and loved it. Let the wheels come off, the people be furious while repubs remind everyone for the next 14 months that it was libs who did this to them

    • The Penguin

Okay…but meanwhile small business is getting creamed.

  • neoface

Sarah should be in the congress, it seem none in congress has balls, bunch of sissies just going through the motions. With all the scandals, I see no one has been convicted or fired, so far the only punishment Obama’s administration has handed out was people being put on paid leave, another word paid vacation. I guess we will be seeing more scandals since there are no consequences.

  • amperro

The President’s Council on Bioethics (under George W. Bush) had several members that opposed radical extension of the human lifespan (Kass, Fukuyama, Hurlbut). This council was also a “death panel”.

  • AaronHarrisinAlaska

Here’s a simple question: how is another individual my problem?

    • World B. Free

The left will always preach to you about your “moral obligation” to coddle and support complete strangers who are trying to game the system.

Like the surfer dude they’ve been talking about on FOX who just parties, surfs and plays guitar every day, gets food stamps, and goes out and buys lobster and sushi for him and his friends.

To the retarded left, we are “morally obligated” to buy that guy’s lobster and sushi. But they can never give you a good reason why you should.

      • wwbdinct

I saw that. Spiccolli giving the middle finger to the American taxpayers that fund his pathetic life. 29 year old LOSER who made my ears bleed when he sang.

      • AaronHarrisinAlaska

And that’s the true selfishness. Demanding my money because this dipstick dosnt want to work for his own. It should go to other people not because they need or deserve it, but because it exists.

  • eeddggy

The limp wrist Lefties pee their pants in fear of Sarah Palin. They try and demean her verbally and from safe cover as they know she is correct on most every issue.
Any person that respects and understands the purpose of the Constitution represents a threat to the Regressive Left.

  • chrissy

Want to see government run health care…..go to an Indian reservation. Want to see what single payer will be like………..never mind….you will die waiting.

    • Bathing Suit Area

“Want to see what single payer will be like…”
Just ask anyone from the rest of the civilized world, you know, all those countries that spend less on healthcare and get better results.

      • World B. Free

And while you’re talking to them, ask them how that health care rationing is working out for them.

Yes, every country with “free” healthcare for its citizens rations healthcare. Look it up. God help you if you dare to live to old age, the government will deny procedures that may help you live a longer healthier life.

        • Bathing Suit Area

As opposed to America, where everybody gets as much healthcare as they want, forever.

          • World B. Free

So what? If someone can afford it, then they should be free to buy anything they want, including a heart transplant at the age of 75. Why are you against that?

Of course, I know that the left is obsessed with how much money, property and healthcare other people have. You simply hate freedom. Your entire attitude is based on envy and hatred of successful, self-sufficient people, and they must be destroyed and their property confiscated. Be honest with yourself and everyone else, and just admit that. That’s the first step to recovery.

          • Bathing Suit Area

You know that you can still do that in countries with single payer, right?

          • Bathing Suit Area

And you seem to have missed the sarcasm in my prior comment, unless you actually think that everyone in America actually gets all the healthcare they want, forever.

          • Corey Dennison

Newsflash dummy: in socialist countries with your wonderful single-payer system–THEY DON’T GET ALL THE HEALTHCARE THEY WANT, FOREVER.

What would libs do without logical fallacies?

          • Bathing Suit Area

So there isn’t a magically infinite supply of healthcare for everyone under *either* system, which means that they are both subject to rationing. So screaming “rationing!” isn’t actually an argument against single payer… which was my entire point.

          • Corey Dennison

Rationing under a socialist, single payer system isn’t quite the same thing as what we have had in this country up until Obamacare, now is it?

And no…you usually don’t have a point. Just talking points.

          • Bathing Suit Area

Of course it’s not the same thing. If it was the same thing nobody would be debating the difference between them. Duh.

      • chrissy

Really? Then why do so many come to the USA for their health care. Example: Mayo Clinic. They didn’t name those buildings after Presidents, they named them after philanthropists they treated. Ask Redford if he would have wanted socialized medicine for his son.
Next time you post to someone, you should ask if they are a nurse or doctor.

        • Bathing Suit Area

Sure, a handful of wealthy philanthropists can get better care in the US than elsewhere. Single payer won’t actually change that.

          • http://musterion.typepad.com/blog/ Joe Dokes

So better care does exist in the U.S.?

          • Bathing Suit Area

For a small minority, yes. For everyone else, no.

          • http://musterion.typepad.com/blog/ Joe Dokes

No no no…the system of care itself is either superior or inferior. If it was superior, no one would come to the U.S. for care no matter how rich they are. Thanks for proving our point, I knew you’d do it eventually!

          • Bathing Suit Area

Right. By that logic, lottery tickets are a superior investment than a savings account, because much higher returns exist. Let me know how that works out for you.

          • Corey Dennison

I have a sister-in-law from England that will tell you that you’re full of crap (something we all already know here), and that NHS sucks balls compared to the healthcare she receives here.

          • Bathing Suit Area

I’m not sure that your sister in law constitutes a representative sample on her own.

      • Fired Up

My neighbors brother died in a UK hospital last year. He had severe stomach ulcers but was misdiagnosed and given the WRONG treatment thus bleeding to death after a week. NO RECOURSE in gov’t malpractice. The family had no choice but to Suck IT.

        • Bathing Suit Area

Misdiagnosis leading to deaths happen in hospitals in every country.

In the UK, it is possibly to sue a doctor or the NHS for negligence in cases of malpractice.

And anyway, aren’t conservatives all after tort reform to ease doctor’s fears of being sued (and thus liability insurance rates)?

          • Fired Up

            Tort reform. Not Tort elimination.

I met Mrs. Palin before the RNC convention where she was announced as the VP pick. She is guanine and a solid piece of GOLD. Wish she was in office now. Boy, would she shake thing us in Congress.

  • temple62

America made its decision by electing an illegal using an unauthorized social security card number, having a photoshopped birth certificate and 4 years of apologizes about this great country! They made their bed, suffer the consequences or complain to their Congressmen and women until the situation is corrected.

Responsibility of taking care of self is whose job?

  • http://www.chrisofrights.com/ Chris Of Rights

No, this can’t possibly be right. Sarah Palin’s an idiot who can see Russia from her house. I was told that by many of my smart liberal friends.
