Today is Nancy Reagan’s 92nd birthday, and the Reagan Foundation has posted a card signed by the 40th president in 1996 to mark the occasion.

Others sent their best wishes as well.

Mrs. Reagan has her quirks, but she is classy and always represented us well! Happy birthday!

Who doesn’t have quirks. The important thing is her positive influence she had on this country.
The love and devotion she had for Ronnie was what every man dreams of and only a handful ever acquire.
Her “Just say no” campaign was the most successful anti drug campaign ever.
She showed women world wide the good taste and class was not something to be ashamed of.

And a much better campaign that that health thing Michelle is trying.

      • Taxpayer1234

I never claimed she was anything but good for the prez and our country. She was a little flaky with her devotion to astrology, that’s all.

        • James Rose

I sincerely apologize. After rereading it today it is a very good post and you are correct in her quirks. I’m trying to come up with a reason, for responding the way I did, since I don’t believe in excuses. The only reason I can think of is I must have had my head up my butt at the time.
Again, please accept my apology. Be assured I will, before making future comments, perform a ‘head removal procedure’.

          • Taxpayer1234

I accept your very gracious apology. Good news is we’re both right about Nancy Reagan. I imagine she misses Ronnie, but I wish her a continued happy and healthy life.

          • James Rose

Thank you. I can only pray that in the future we will have another Ronnie and Nancy that will save this nation.

If her Ronnie loved her so much, she must be very special.

Same here … I’ve been 29 for so long, I’ve lost count! Hahaha

          • BlahBlah

I’m glad I’m not alone in this unfortunate predicament.

Also I feel like I hijacked this thread with my b’day when obviously there are more important b’days but I’m really happy to share the day with those two very fine people.

What a classy and fine first lady you are.
Our current first lady, is measured by her arms. Not that great.

May our country one day, have a class act, in charge again.

Seeing this picture made me realize something. Between the Reagan’s , and both Bush families as well as the Romneys, there is true love , commitment and dedication in their marriages. Can anyone say the same for the Clintons , Gores, Kerrys, or Obamas ?
    I don’t see it
It’s all for show and nothing more

Yeah, only republicans have loving relationships. Yours may be the stupidest comment of the day. Wasn’t Saint Ronnie divorced? Can’t say that about Clinton or Obama. Feel free to take your head out of your a## any time now.

If you’ve ever read some of the letters he wrote to Nancy over the years, it truly will impress. Reagan was a wordsmith. Despite being an actor, there was nothing manufactured from that fella when it came to his woman…that’s for sure.

I quote: “Whatever I treasure and enjoy—this home, our ranch, the sight of the sea—all would be without meaning if I didn’t have you. I live in a permanent Christmas because God gave me you.”
